The Cosmic Battle event in Hero Wars is a dynamic cross-server PvP competition that begins on May 1. Prior to the event, a 24-hour Ban Phase occurs, allowing players to vote on heroes to be excluded from the upcoming battles. During this phase, players select one hero from each of the seven role branches—Tank, Warrior, Marksman, Mage, Support, Healer, and Control—to be banned. The heroes with the highest votes are then banned for the duration of the Cosmic Battle: three Mages, two Tanks, and one hero from each of the remaining roles, totaling ten banned heroes.

Once the Ban Phase concludes, the three-day Cosmic Battle commences. Players engage in battles using their current hero power, excluding the banned heroes, to climb the rankings and earn rewards. Victory in battles grants Cosmic Battle Coins, which can be spent in the event shop for valuable resources. Additionally, players can earn extra coins through win streaks and successful defenses. ​
