Hero Wars Artifact Chest & Emerald Exchange
Discover how to use the Artifact Chest and Emerald Exchange in Hero Wars to earn artifact resources, gold, and coins. Learn about chest levels, key rewards, drop rarities, multiplier bonuses, and daily exchange limits based on VIP level.
Opening the Artifact Chest
To open the Artifact Chest, you'll need either:
Artifact Chest Keys, or Emeralds.
You receive 4 free Artifact Chest Keys daily by:
Clicking the gift in Valkyrie’s hands
Completing the daily quest "Begin 1 Expedition"
Completing the daily quest "Begin 4 Expeditions"
Completing the daily quest "Level up any artifact once"
You can also open 10 chests at once using 800 emeralds. After using the Open 10 button ten times, the Open 100 option becomes available.
Chest Level & Rewards
Each time you open chests, it contributes toward leveling up your Artifact Chest. Every time the chest levels up,
you receive a reward, and every Guild member gets 1 Artifact Key as a bonus.

The Artifact Chest can contain:
1. Chaos Cores 2. Artifact Coins 3. Hero Artifact 4. Fragments 5. Artifact Resources
The rarity of artifact resources increases with the chest level:
Regular artifact resources are available at Chest level 1 and higher.
Uncommon artifact resources become available at Chest level 2 and higher.
Rare artifact resources become available at Chest level 3 and higher.
Superior artifact resources become available at Chest level 4 and higher.
Flawless artifact resources become available at Chest level 5 and higher.
Absolute artifact resources become available at Chest level 6 and higher.
Emerald Exchange
The Emerald Exchange in Hero Wars allows you to convert emeralds into gold. You can access it by pressing the plus icon next to your gold counter in the upper-right corner of the game screen.
How It Works
In the center of the Exchange Shop, you'll see the base amount of gold you receive per exchange, before any multipliers are applied.
Multiplier Bonuses
Every exchange has a chance to trigger a multiplier bonus:

x5
x10
x100 (very rare)
If you receive a x10 multiplier, the base amount of gold is multiplied by ten.
Note: When a player hits a x100 multiplier, a special announcement appears in the server chat.
Exchange History
You can review your previous exchanges on the right side of the Emerald Exchange screen.
Increasing Exchange Value
Each exchange increases the amount of gold you receive.
Every fifth exchange raises the emerald cost, up to a cap of 95 emeralds per exchange.
For example:
x1 counts as 1 attempt
x10 counts as 10 attempts
Daily Exchange Limits by VIP Level
Your number of daily exchange attempts depends on your VIP level:
