Hero Wars Ascension Skills
Ascension unlocks permanent stat boosts across all game modes. Additionally, certain ranks in the Ascension path—Rank II and Rank V—unlock powerful Ascension Skills unique to each hero.
Artemis
🛡️ Rank II – Smart Arrow
Artemis fires a guided arrow at the nearest foe, which then ricochets between nearby enemies multiple times.
Upgrade (Healing Smart Arrow): Adds two extra bounces and restores Artemis’s health equal to 33% of the total damage dealt.
🛡️ Rank V – Deadly Shower
Unleashes a barrage of 10 arrows, each dealing physical attack-based damage.
Upgrade (Resurgent Deadly Shower): From the second cast onward, Artemis fires an additional 7 arrows, each dealing 10% of her physical attack plus 1,300 damage.
Aurora
🌟 Rank II – Rainbow Halo
Aurora’s shield absorbs a portion of incoming magic damage. Once it accumulates damage equal to 10% of her max health, it explodes and damages nearby foes.
Upgrade (Perfect Rainbow Halo): The shield also absorbs 25% of incoming dodged damage, charging more rapidly and triggering more frequently.
🌟 Rank V – Crystal of Selias
Emits a powerful flash at the center of enemy ranks.
Upgrade (Resonant Crystal of Selias): Leaves behind a lingering crystal that detonates whenever Aurora’s shield explodes.
Cleaver
🗡️ Rank II – Putrefaction
Deals pure damage over 5 seconds to nearby enemies and to himself.
Upgrade (Toxic Putrefaction): Any target yanked in by Rusty Hook takes double damage from Putrefaction for 20 seconds.
🗡️ Rank V – Rusty Hook
Launches a hook that damages and pulls a distant enemy toward Cleaver.
Upgrade (Massive Rusty Hook): Also knocks back nearby enemies and inflicts extra pure damage equal to 30% of Cleaver’s physical attack plus 1,500.
Dark Star
🕷️ Rank II – Control
Charms the nearest enemy to fight on her side for 4 seconds (chance based on enemy level).
Upgrade (Tormenting Control): The charmed enemy goes berserk, losing health per second (15% of Dark Star’s attack + 2,500) and gaining +100% attack speed and +20% attack power (plus 1,000).
🕷️ Rank V – Black Arrows
Fires two projectiles at distant enemies that deal damage and stun for 3 seconds (chance determined by enemy level).
Upgrade (Possessed Black Arrows): If a Control effect is active, fires a third arrow and extends the control duration by 10 seconds.
Galahad
⚔️ Rank II – Unstoppable Charge
Dashes forward, cleanses any control effects, and damages nearby enemies.
Upgrade (Relentless Charge): Automatically activates when the nearest enemy uses their first skill (cooldown: 7 seconds), also draining 30% of their energy.
⚔️ Rank V – Iron Skies
Rains down swords of justice on enemy ranks.
Upgrade (Iron Retribution): Automatically casts Retaliation on enemies below 30% health during the Sword rain (max 5 targets).
Heidi
🕶️ Rank II – Spy Camo
Becomes camouflaged after 2 seconds without damage, increasing dodge chance. Dodged damage converts into energy. Cannot dodge control and reveal when damaged.
Upgrade (Deadly Spy Camo): Grants additional skill damage (5%–20% scaling) while camouflaged.
🕶️ Rank V – Deathflower
Deploys a toxic flower at the enemy’s center, poisoning foes in range.
Upgrade (Suffocating Deathflower): Raises poison damage by 10% every 0.5 seconds.
Ishmael
👻 Rank II – Phantom
Dodges physical attacks for 6 seconds, gaining energy per dodge.
Upgrade (Elusive Phantom): Also dodges magic attacks.
👻 Rank V – Awakening
Enters demon form, gaining crit chance and attack speed, but loses energy over time.
Upgrade (Brutal Awakening): Grants x4 crit damage in Demon form instead of x2.
Judge
⚡ Rank II – Force Field
Shields the nearest ally, fully absorbing damage.
Upgrade (Overcharged Force Field): When the shield breaks, it emits a 0.5-second stun to nearby foes.
⚡ Rank V – Ion Cyclone
Unleashes a lightning storm that strikes all enemies four times.
Upgrade (Resonating Ion Cyclone): Followed by a jolt chaining between 2 enemies, dealing magic damage and stunning for 1 second.
Kai
Ascension Rank II
Explosive Sphere – Throws a fire sphere at nearby rivals. Deals damage for 3 seconds, then explodes, damaging surrounding enemies.
Upgrade: Lesser Explosive Sphere – After detonation, a lesser sphere attaches to a rival, dealing damage for 8s (15% magic attack + 1500), then explodes for (15% magic attack + 7000).
Ascension Rank V
Fetters of the Wind – Launches a whirlwind that throws targets into the air and deals damage. Trigger chance depends on rival’s level.
Upgrade: Detonating Fetters of the Wind – Multiplies Explosive Sphere damage and area by 2 and activates them.
Keira
Ascension Rank II
Enraged Soul – Increases speed for 5 seconds.
Upgrade: Undying Enraged Soul – Revives once with 15% HP, becomes Undead until battle ends.
Ascension Rank V
Blade Whirlwind – Throws blades at the furthest rival. Deals damage and silences on return.
Upgrade: Raging Blade Whirlwind – Grants Enraged Soul buff for 2s after blades return.
Lara Croft
Ascension Rank II
Critical Thinking – Focuses for 6s, increasing crit chance and crit damage.
Upgrade: Absolute Critical Thinking – All hits become crits on stunned enemies.
Ascension Rank V
Power of the Tombs – Damages enemies and heals allies via relic. Basic attacks fire 2 powered-up shots.
Upgrade: Power of the Sacred Tombs – After crit hit, next basic attack fires 4 shots.
Lilith
Ascension Rank II
Possession – Sacrifices 5% HP before each skill if over 25% HP. Boosts magic attack by health lost for 5s.
Upgrade: Mass Possession – Fire Breath–weakened rivals take pure damage (1% of their max HP, max 5% of Lilith’s magic attack + 5000). Boosts Lilith’s magic attack.
Ascension Rank V
Underworld Seal – Damages central rival and nearby enemies, increases Lilith’s HP by 3% per target hit.
Upgrade: Stunning Underworld Seal – Lowest-damaged rival is stunned for 5s.
Nebula
Ascension Rank II
Serenity – Heals and removes debuffs from 2 nearby allies. Can heal herself if only one ally remains.
Upgrade: Absolute Serenity – If a healed ally gains a debuff within 4s, Nebula removes it and heals them again.
Ascension Rank V
Astral Projection – Launches a projectile that explodes on contact or manually. Deals AoE damage and drains energy, split evenly.
Upgrade: Astral Balance Projection – Two allies gain Equilibrium (boosts phys/magic attack for 5s).
Orion
Ascension Rank II
Antimatter Blast – Magic missile stuns nearest rival for 4s.
Upgrade: Antimatter Chain – Missile bounces to two more targets, stunning for 1s and dealing (40% magic attack + 3900) damage.
Ascension Rank V
Total Destruction – Fires 6 missiles at highest-HP rivals.
Upgrade: Tactical Destruction – Marks stunned/slowed rivals. Marked targets get hit with extra missiles dealing (30% magic attack + 4800).
Peppy
Ascension Rank II
Boldness – Grants a shield to an ally. Damages nearby enemies when shielded ally is hit.
Upgrade: Spirit of Boldness – Shielded ally takes 25% less general damage and 50% less from crits.
Ascension Rank V
Masquerade – Damages or applies control effect (stun, blind, slow) for 6s.
Upgrade: Reckless Masquerade – Always deals magic damage (8% magic attack + 1500). If evaded, recasts up to 3 times.
Qing Mao
Ascension Rank II
Open Heart – Reduces target’s armor with each hit, lasts until death.
Upgrade: Relentless Open Heart – Also reduces max HP by damage dealt (max 40% of target’s HP).
Ascension Rank V
Qing Long – Summons a dragon that hits nearby enemies 3 times, burns and pushes them.
Upgrade: Wrath of Qing Long – Hits once more per blinded enemy (up to 5). Damage per hit = (20% physical attack + 3000); flame damage = (10% physical attack + 1200).
Lara Croft
Ascension Rank II
Donnie’s Tactics (Passive) – Every 12s, a new Turtle appears, performs a Signature Move, and stays for 20s.
Upgrade: Donnie’s Smoke Bomb – When a Turtle leaves, nearby enemies are blinded for 3s.
Ascension Rank V
Mikey’s Signature Move – Mikey skates through the field, damaging and stunning central rival, healing allies with pizza, then returns to frontline.
Upgrade: Mikey’s Secret Ingredient – Allies healed by pizza gain 30% vampirism for 4s.
Thea
Ascension Rank II
Healing Beam – Heals ally with lowest HP.
Upgrade: Radiant Healing Beam – Healed ally takes 50% less damage for 5s.
Ascension Rank V
Solar Sanctuary – Heals all allies.
Upgrade: Blessed Solar Sanctuary – Excess healing becomes a shield that blocks all damage.
