Hero Wars August Map Guide

The newly unveiled Hero Wars August Mysterious Island Map is now live, filled with emerald towers, pattern chests, and powerful resource rewards. This guide breaks down the best paths using our custom-mapped routes to help you reach key objectives efficiently—whether you’re going for a single tower, both emerald towers, or the entire map.

Why Smart Pathing Matters on the Hero Wars August Map

This event features one of the most expansive maps to date. With key towers spread far apart and no shortcuts between major zones, choosing the wrong route can cost you precious explorer moves. That’s why we mapped out three precise routes using custom Photoshop visuals: green, red, yellow, and blue—each designed for different goals.

First Emerald Tower Route: Green vs. Red

At the beginning of the map, you’ll encounter a major decision. If your only goal is to reach the first emerald tower (bottom left), you have two options:

  • Green Route (21 moves): This is the most efficient option if you only want the first emerald tower and plan to stop there. It cuts through the terrain in a direct way, saving two explorer moves.
  • Red Route (23 moves): Slightly longer, but essential if you plan to continue to the second emerald tower. Why? Because it positions you better for the next leg of your journey, saving a move on the next segment.

💡 Tip: Green is optimal for single-tower players. Red is better for dual-tower collectors.

Both Emerald Towers Strategy: Red + Yellow vs. Green + Detour

If you plan to grab both emerald towers (bottom left and upper middle), here are your options:

  • Red + Yellow Path: Total 50 Explorer Moves
    • Red route to first tower: 23 moves
    • Yellow route to second tower: 27 moves
    • This is the most efficient total path for two towers.
  • Green + Yellow Path: Total 51 Explorer Moves
    • Green route to first tower: 21 moves
    • From there to second tower: 30 moves
    • This route is slightly less efficient—costs you one extra move.

🟨 Bonus: Near the yellow path, just two moves off-track, lies a tower with 500 Titan Artifact Spheres—well worth the short detour.

Full Map Completion Strategy: The Blue Route

For players aiming to collect every major reward on the map—including all seven main towers and the War Flag Chest—we’ve mapped the optimal path in blue.

  • Blue Route Total:
    • 90 explorer moves if collecting all towers and the War Flag Chest
    • 85 explorer moves if skipping the War Flag Chest

This path bypasses the yellow route and allows a more efficient sweep through the entire map. It passes through all valuable towers, including:

  • Titan Skin Stones (60,000)
  • Titan Artifact Spheres (500)
  • Chaos Particles (2,000)
  • Absolute Artifact Chest Reds (100)
  • Wish Crystals + Insignias (500 each)
  • Two Emerald Towers (35,000 emeralds total)
  • War Flag Chest (optional)

💬 Reminder: There are no shortcuts between the two emerald towers. The terrain forces a full circle from bottom to top.
