Hero Brawls – Hero Wars
Event Guide

The Hero Brawls event in Hero Wars is a recurring PvP competition where players form teams using fully maxed-out heroes, regardless of their personal hero progression. Each Brawl spotlights a specific hero—such as Faceless, Fafnir, or Orion—who must be included in every team you assemble during the event.

🎯 Strategy Tips

  • Diversify Teams: Experiment with different team compositions to find effective strategies.
  • Resource Management: Plan your Emerald spending for purchasing additional Lives if aiming for maximum rewards.
  • Daily Participation: Engage in battles daily to maximize Brawl Coin earnings.
  • Quest Completion: Complete event-related quests to earn additional Brawl Coins and resources.

You need Lives to participate in Brawls. Each defeat costs (1 of 5) Lives.

Each player is given 5 Lives at the beginning of each Game Day. Additional Lives can be purchased with Emeralds, starting from 200 Emeralds for 5 new Lives (further increasing with each purchase), up to 1,000 Emeralds for “Unlimited Lives”. All additional Lives – including “unlimited” ones – are only available until the end of the current Game Day and will reset at the beginning of the next Game Day.

Rules

Every Hero Brawls event gives all players the opportunity to create teams with maximum powers, regardless of the evolution of their own Heroes. The only limitation (or rule) is that the featured Hero has to be part of the team by default; in some occurrences only on attacking teams, however, in most occurrences also on the defensive team.

Pets are also at maximum power and can be used for both, pet patronage and as team pet. Players with a Team Level lower than 40 who have not unlocked the Sanctuary yet can only use pets for patronage but they cannot use them as team pet.

On attack, players can choose to attack one of two randomly selected opposing teams with max powered Heroes. After an enemy is attacked, it is replaced with a new enemy, however, enemies are not reset when the window / game is closed and reopened.

This game mode is similar to the Cosmic Battle. Instead of a featured Hero, players vote to exclude certain Heroes from the upcoming Cosmic Battle. In addition, there are no leagues, division, and player rankings in Hero Brawls, and while Hero Brawls only feature teams from the same server, Cosmic Battles are cross-server events.

🧪 Gameplay Mechanics

  • Maxed Heroes: All heroes and pets are at their maximum power levels for the duration of the event, ensuring a level playing field.
  • Team Composition: The featured hero is mandatory in every team. In most events, this applies to both offensive and defensive teams.
  • Battle Selection: Players choose between two randomly selected opposing teams to challenge. After an enemy is attacked, it is replaced with a new opponent.
  • Lives System: Each player starts with 5 Lives per day. A loss consumes one Life. Additional Lives can be purchased with Emeralds, starting at 200 Emeralds for 5 Lives, increasing with each purchase, up to 1,000 Emeralds for unlimited Lives for the day.
  • Defense Rewards: Successful defenses can earn Brawl Coins, with a maximum of 5 defense rewards per day.
