Hero Wars Event Guide
The Spooky Festival is a week-long Halloween-themed event in Hero Wars: Dominion Era, typically held in late October. It offers a variety of quests, mini-games, and exclusive rewards, providing players with numerous opportunities to enhance their heroes and collect unique items.

The Spooky Festival includes engaging mini-games:
- Treasure Hunt: Find hidden items across various game locations to earn Ghost Candies and exclusive avatars.
- Puzzles: Complete a series of puzzles by interacting with specific objects in the Spooky Festival hub to receive additional Ghost Candies.
These mini-games provide fun diversions and extra rewards during the event.

Spooky Festival Event Items
Get Ghost Candies for completing Spooky Festival quests and get gifts from another world in the Spooky Cauldron.
Spooky Festival Coin can be exchanged in the Spooky Festival Store.
Open Spooky Festival Dolls and get unexpected prizes.
Trickster Chests can only be obtained after the Spooky Festival is over by the coin exchange:
- 100 Ghost Candies => 1 Trickster Chest
The content seems to correspond to that of the Spooky Festival Doll, but without Ghost Candies. This is identical to leftover Spooky Festival Dolls, they don’t drop ghost candies after the event. It is not known if the Trickster Chests have a better drop table than the Spooky Festival Dolls as statistics are not available.

Spooky Cauldron
The ghosts will trade in 250 Ghost Candies for:
- 1 Absolute Artifact Chests
- 3 Chaos Cores
- 5 Great Enchantment Runes
- 5 Skin Stone Chests Or the Grand Prize:
- 1 Spooky Festival Coin
Furnace of Souls
In the Furnace of Souls, players have to fight against 10 waves of 5 monsters each. All Heroes have max power but every available Hero can only be used one time per day, meaning after one battle they are gone for that day. The number of monsters killed are summed up and you can claim daily rewards (or treasures). 250 monsters need to be killed to unlock all 9 daily rewards – at 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 175, 200, and 250 monsters killed. Whether or not all Heroes survive the battles or how much damage is dealt does not matter as long as the number of monsters get killed.
Easter Eggs
As of 2021 onwards, there are two mini-games; each game can be played once during the Spooky Festival:
- 3 Puzzles – 2,000 Ghost Candies
- Treasure Hunt – 1,500 Ghost Candies + Avatar (if still available)
The three Puzzles can be started by clicking on the pink lollipop on the left side of the cauldron on the Spooky Festival hub screen The puzzles have an increasing number of pieces to place. For the Treasure Hunt players need to find six Easter eggs (1-6) by clicking on certain items (in no particular order) before finally solving another (7) as seen in the list below:
- the tombstone in the lower left corner of the hub screen
- a ghost candy lying on base or top floor of the Tower
- the spider web in upper left corner after “opening” the Artifact Chest in the Airship
- a ghost candy in the back of the Guild Island
- a blue lollipop lying in the lower right corner in the Titan Valley
- the rooftop of the building in the lower right corner of Chapter 6 in Campaign mode
- a ghost that appears in one of the windows at the back of Chapter 14 to “activate” all windows, then all visible ghosts need to be switched to light bulbs to finally receive the reward
Please note, the 2 Campaign chapters do not need to be solved, just go there. As for some of the other places, a player needs to be in a Guild to access them. The opening of the Artifact Chest is the only time resources are required (either 10 Artifact Chest Keys or a minimum of 800 Emeralds). There is no hint here for the solving the game here other than there are only 2 possible ways to clear all the ghosts.
