🗺️ Map Mechanics
- Structure: The map comprises 57 nodes, including battles, buff towers, and the final boss
- Action Points: Movement across the map requires Action Points, earned through event quests or purchased with Emeralds
- Storm Resistance: Defeating enemy squads increases Storm Resistance, mitigating the pure damage dealt by the storm’s force during battles
- Buff Towers: Three towers offer buffs enhancing your team’s capabilities; strategically plan your route to acquire them
- Hidden Chests: Six mini-chests and one boss chest are scattered across the map, containing substantial Storm Coin rewards
Adventure map
The first two Great Storm adventure maps consisted of three rings, 16 nodes per ring, and the Boss in the middle, a total of 49 nodes.
The third storm split the outer ring into 8 fins with two nodes and added one node at the end resulting in 57 nodes.
To get the total number of beatable battle locations, you need to subtract the starting point and the three Altar of Powers.
Exactly the same as in Adventures, they are used to move around the map, except they have a different icon. Players start with 5 free Action Points, additional ones can be collected by completing Quests or by buying them for 500 Emeralds each.
Leftover Actions Points will be exchanged for Storm Legacy chests after the event is over,
- 1 Action Point = 1.6 Storm Legacy Chests
- Note: The resulting number of chests will be rounded up

Contains fragments of Orange and Violet equipment for Heroes. – Previously only available (for purchase) in “Heroic Bundles.”

The Storm Legacy chest contains Chaos Particle, Pet Potions, and other unexpected prizes, it can be bought in the Great Storm Shop or traded in for leftover Action Points and Storm Coins.

How to stop the Great Storm?
- Win battles and increase Storm Resistance
- Find hidden chests
- Destroy towers to weaken the boss
- Defeat the Boss!
- Get Storm Coins and buy rare goods in the Great Storm Shop
Force of the Storm

Your Heroes lose X% of their max Health in Pure damage once per second. Enemies take X% less damage.
enemy Damage Reduction = 100x(x+100) || where X=(Storm Power – Storm Resistance)
The Force of the Storm gets stronger the closer to the center the squad is. The effects are reduced by 5 points per beaten squad. To reach the maximum Storm Resistance of 250, 47 squads and the three Harbinger’s Steles must be beaten.
Rewards
There are six small chests that are randomly placed on the map and the Boss chest.
The small chest give from 4,000 to 6,000 Storm Coins and the Boss chest 20,000 Storm Coins.
Squads
The Enemies scale with the power of your team at the start of the event. Beating a squad grants 5 Storm Resistance and a varing amount of Storm Coins.
The enemies, counterclockwise from the start, seem to be Chapter 9/10 enemies, Chapter 11/12/13 enemies, Chapter 14/15 enemies, Chapter 2/3/7 enemies, Chapter 4/6 enemies, Chapter 1/8 enemies from the campaign.
The Harbinger's Stele
The towers are called the Harbinger’s Stele, although they have a different design than the Eyes of the Herald, they also strengthen the Boss with outgoing buffs:
- #3 – New location: #8 – Decrease Magic damage taken by 75%
- #19 – New location: #22 – Decrease Physical damage taken by 75%
- #29 – New location: #41 – Increases Physical Attack and Magic Attack by 75% for the entire team
The third storm altered the locations slightly.
Story
Entering the storm
Galahad: A strange-looking storm is headed towards Strongford from the west. The scouts are reporting that this is the handiwork of the leader of the Chaos forces. Her name is Xe’Sha, if I recall. So much for simple names!
Mira: It’s not just any storm, either. It’s a truly fearsome mass of dark energy! Can you see it?
Galahad: It’s kind of difficult not to… Mira do you have a plan this time?
Mira: Ugh… I wish I could figure out what else that monstrosity of a woman is planning… I believe you’ll have to take your chance, Guardians. You will head straight into the storm. And… Take me along. I can sense it’s the right thing to do.
Defeating the first squad
Mira: My amulet is vibrating. I’ve never seen the Beacon do this before… I’m scared.
Xe’Sha: You are absolutely right to be scared of me!
Mira: Who might you be, Xe’Sha? What brings you to the Dominion?
Xe’Sha: It’s none of your business, wench! The storm will avenge me!
Mira: Don’t listen to her, Guardians. Beware, the storm acts like a living creature. It attacks us with its own force. The Force of the Storm!
Xe’Sha: Well said. But the forces of nature heed no words. Do not let the Force of the Storm destroy you. Over here! Run to the center!
Mira: Don’t! That voice is a trick. The closer to the center of the storm, the more dangerous it gets! The enemies of the Dominion can’t be trusted, Xe’Sha! You hear me?
Xe’Sha: Of course I do, my dear. You’re going to die, the lot of you!
Defeating the second squad
Galahad: Your amulet! Every time we defeat monsters, it pulsates.
Mira: In these moments, I sense that the Beacon’s energy grows and the destructive Force of the Storm fades. The amulet is shielding your, Guardians. It increases your Storm Resistance! Which means there’s still a chance to defeat this enemy. We just need to keep fighting!
Defeating the 6th squad (excluding steles)
Mira: Xe’Sha challenged us to reach the very center, the core of the storm.
Galahad: Obviously, it won’t be easy to get there.
Mira: What if it’s the crucial element of the storm? The very heart of it, its source. Did you see those three giant crystals, looking like watchtowers? I think the crystals feed the core of the storm with energy and protect it.
Galahad: In that case, we need to disarm them so we can reach the heart of the storm!
Defeating the 10th squad (excluding steles)
Xe’Sha: The storm is growing more powerful. Harbinger! Soon, you will arrive to this world. And bring it to ruin! This is my gift to you, o great one! My revenge on the Dominion!
Defeating the first stele
Mira: The Beacon! It’s pulsating with light!
Galahad: We destroyed the tower. The core is just ahead.
Xe’Sha: You yet live? What a pity!
Mira: Why, yes. We’re just about to destroy the storm… along with you!
Xe’Sha: An arrogant fool! Still, I’d like to see you try. After all, it’s the only way for me to get hold of that bauble of yours!
Mira: It’s my amulet, and it’s one of a kind across the worlds!
Xe’Sha: I couldn’t care less! I’ll just take it from you.
Attacking the Boss
Xe’Sha: Give me your name, insolent wench!
Mira: I’m Mira. Don’t bother giving me yours, I already know it. I also know that you possess something similar to my Beacon. It conjures the Force of the Storm, the exact opposite of my Resistance. Their inner energy aside, these items share a common nature, don’t they?
Xe’Sha: Don’t waste your breath, you pathetic insect! You’re going to die, the lot of you! Shame I won’t be here to witness it. Duty calls…
Beating the Boss
Xe’Sha: Your victory means nothing whatsoever. There will be another crystal, and another storm!
Mira: You own an amulet that resembles my Beacon. Think about it, Xe’Sha. What if we’re both…
Xe’Sha: Begone! Your words matter naught to me. Soon, I will deal the next blow and open the gate for the great Harbinger!
Avatar Shop
It’s your chance to exchange Gold for unique Avatars & Frames that could be obtained during previous special events. You can find this Shop near the Tower, it will be available until the end of the event plus one day.
Note: The Avatar Shop was only available during the 4th (and maybe the 5th) Great Storm.
