Adam Upgrade Priority Guide | Hero Wars Dominion Era
This Adam Upgrade Priority Guide fixes the one mistake that keeps most players from seeing what Adam can actually do. The wrong upgrade order leaves him fragile and gone before his mechanics even activate. The right order — built around two core stats — turns him into one of the most dangerous heroes in late battle. Here is exactly where to start.
What Drives Every Priority Decision
Everything in Adam’s kit connects to two stats: physical attack and health. Physical attack is the engine. Bounty Lock, Fan of the Hammer, and Reactive Screen all scale with it. Adaptive Caliber stacks it during battle, making every other skill stronger as the fight continues.
Health is what makes physical attack matter. Adam is fragile in the early battle window. If he dies before Adaptive Caliber has time to build, you never see the dangerous version of him. Health is not a secondary stat — it is the stat that makes his damage possible.
Every priority decision in this guide comes back to these two stats. Keep them in mind for every upgrade you make.
Adam Skins — The Health Skin Is Not Optional
Adam’s default skin is an agility skin, requiring agility skin stones. Develop it — agility is his main stat and supports his overall damage profile. However, the second skin is more important.
During Adam’s event, he receives a health skin. This skin directly fixes his biggest weakness. Without it, Adam is significantly more fragile — especially in the first 30 to 40 seconds of battle where he is most vulnerable. If you are building Adam seriously, the health skin is a top priority the moment it becomes available.
It is the difference between an Adam who dies before his mechanics activate and one who survives long enough to become dangerous. Do not treat it as an afterthought — it is a top-tier upgrade.
Priority: health skin first when available, default agility skin ongoing.
Adam Items — Physical Attack and Health Lead Every Rank
Every rank has six items and not all of them are equal for Adam. When resources are limited, look at what each item gives before you build it. Physical attack items go first. Health items go first. These are the two stats Adam needs at every stage of development.
After those are covered, complete the remaining items in the rank and move forward. Do not let a physical attack or health item sit unbuilt while you complete something that gives armor or magic defense first. This logic applies from green rank all the way through red plus two.
Adam Upgrade Priority Guide — Glyphs
Adam has five glyphs. Each one connects to a specific part of his kit. Here is the full priority order and the reasoning behind each placement.
Adam Patronage — Just Keep It Moving
Adam’s patronage system is straightforward. Gold and Sparks of Power are all you need. Sparks of Power come from Titan development, so if you are already investing in Titans this is not a problem. Develop it as consistently as you can — every extra stat helps Adam. There is no wrong order here, just keep it moving.

Adam Artifact Priority — Survive Before You Scale
Adam has three artifacts. Most players go straight for the unique weapon because it gives physical attack — that instinct makes sense. But from testing, Adam’s biggest early problem is not damage. It is survival. Fix that first.
Adam Ascension — Physical Attack and Health First
Ascension does not require complicated decision making. Whenever you have a choice between nodes, prioritize physical attack and health first. These are the two stats that connect most directly to Adam’s kit — physical attack makes his skills stronger, and health keeps him alive long enough to use them. After those, continue developing the rest of the tree as far as your resources allow.
The Full Adam Upgrade Priority Picture
Adam is not a hero who performs at half development. He needs investment across every system — levels, items, skills, skins, glyphs, artifacts, and ascension. A half-built Adam looks fragile and disappointing. A properly built Adam, with enough health to survive and enough physical attack to scale, becomes one of the most dangerous heroes in late battle.
Before asking whether Adam is strong, ask the better question — can you build him properly? Because the answer to that question determines everything about your experience with this hero. Focus on physical attack. Focus on health. Do not ignore armor penetration and dodge. And the moment his health skin becomes available, treat it as one of the most important upgrades in his entire development. That is how you unlock the real Adam.
