Hero Wars The Great Storm Calculator (Interactive Map)

What Is The Great Storm Event in Hero Wars?

The Great Storm is a map-exploration event in Hero Wars where you move across a large island filled with battles, altars, hidden chests, and finally the central Storm Boss. Every step costs Action Points, and every cleared node gives Storm Resistance, helping your team survive tougher enemies as you advance.

The objective is simple:
Explore the map, build enough Resistance, and reach the Boss with a strong and strategic route. Your choices matter — some nodes are safe, others are dangerous, and certain special structures (like the Harbinger’s Steles) make the Boss stronger until they are destroyed.

The Great Storm rewards careful planning, route optimization, and smart resource management. This calculator helps you do exactly that before entering the actual event.

How the Great Storm Calculator Works

This calculator simulates the real event, letting you test your route before committing Action Points in-game. Every click behaves like a move inside the actual Great Storm map.

    Moving on the Map

Click any node to move your hero along the map.
The calculator follows the same rules as the real event:

    • You can only move to connected nodes
    • Each move costs 1 Action Point
    • Your current position updates instantly
    • The explored path is highlighted

The tool ensures you follow realistic map routes and prevents impossible jumps.

Node Types and What They Do

Each node behaves exactly as it does in the event:

    • Normal node → +1 Action Point and +5 Storm Resistance
    • Altar node (13, 34, 54) → +1 Action Point only
    • Boss node (57) → triggers the final boss encounter
    • Harbinger’s Stele nodes (8, 22, 41) → weaken the boss when destroyed

This lets you practice any strategy you want — boss rush, full clear, or chest clean-up.

Action Points & Storm Resistance Explained

    Action Points (AP)

Moving from node to node always costs 1 AP.
But every node you step on also gives 1 AP back, so your route matters more than your starting AP.

    Storm Resistance

Every new, normal node gives you +5 Resistance.
Resistance determines how hard the boss hits you and how hard you hit back.

As your Resistance grows, your damage increases.
The calculator updates your total instantly, letting you test whether your route gives enough Resistance before heading into danger zones.

    Boss Damage Calculator

The calculator includes a live boss damage display, showing:

    • Your damage percentage
    • How much the boss reduces your hits
    • A progress bar up to 180 Resistance

This helps you understand how safe or risky your approach is.

    Green = strong
    Yellow = decent
    Red = dangerous

You can test different routes to see exactly when your team becomes boss-ready.

    Harbinger’s Stele Mechanics (Nodes 8, 22, 41)

These three nodes represent special structures that buff the final boss.
As long as they stand, the boss is stronger.

    The calculator shows this visually:

    • Stele nodes glow red
    • A red line connects each Stele to the Boss
    • Clicking a Stele “destroys” it
    • The red line disappears

This lets you instantly see the effect of removing each buff and plan whether to:

    • Rush the boss
    • Destroy all Steles first
    • Mix both approaches with a hybrid route

    Danger Zone Warnings

Some nodes are medium or high danger.
If your Resistance is too low when you click one, the calculator warns you:

    “Low Resistance — continue?”

This mimics the real event’s risk:
enter too early, and your team may fail.

    Route Tracker

Every step you take is automatically added to the route list.
    You will always see:

    • Your full path
    • Your current position
    • Which nodes were Altars, Steles, or Boss
    • Total moves taken

You can compare different routes easily without losing track.

    Reset to Try New Strategies

There is a Reset button that clears everything so you can test:

    • Full clear route
    • Fastest boss route
    • Safe route for weak teams
    • Chest farming route
    • Stele-first route

You can practice as many strategies as you want — just like a sandbox version of the event.

    Conclusion

The Great Storm calculator is built to help players plan the best possible route before spending any Action Points in-game. It mirrors the real event so you can safely test strategies, compare paths, understand danger zones, and see how Resistance affects boss damage.

Whether you want a fast run, a safe route, or a full exploration, the calculator gives you everything you need to prepare and get the maximum rewards out of the Great Storm event.
