Hero Wars Server Merge Checker

Hero Wars Server Merge Checker

The Hero Wars server merge arrives on August 16, and it is far more than routine maintenance. According to the official list, 372 servers are being folded into 83 destination servers, which means 455 servers out of the current 654 are directly affected. This is a competitive reset with real deadlines attached, and unprepared players can lose rankings, battle records, or even an entire account.

Instead of forcing you to scroll through a wall of numbers, we built a quick checker right into this page. Type your server number below, and it will instantly tell you whether your server is merging, where it is going, and which other servers are joining you. Below the tool, you will also find the complete official mapping and the full list of servers that are staying exactly as they are.

Check Your Server Instantly

Just start typing your server number (1–654) — no button needed, the result updates live. The tool covers every entry from the official Hero Wars server merge document, so the result you see here matches what the developers published.

How the Hero Wars Server Merge Works

A server merge is exactly what it sounds like. Two or more servers are combined into one, so everyone from those separate worlds now shares the same map, leaderboards, Guild War bracket, and rankings. On August 16, the developers are doing exactly that for the servers listed below, and affected players should expect a short maintenance window where logging in is not possible.

The structure follows a clear pattern once you look at the data. Groups of source servers are combined into a single destination, and the destination is always the oldest server in its group. Newer clusters merge in groups of seven or eight, mid-range servers combine in groups of four to six, while older ranges mostly pair up two at a time.

The goal is to bring more activity to quieter worlds — more guilds to join, more opponents to fight, and a stronger player economy. That said, merging eight or nine servers into one is a genuine trade-off. A bigger population revives dead servers, but it also means crowded rankings and plenty of established players suddenly fighting over the same top spots. Whether that feels healthier or simply harder depends on where you sit.

What Resets After the Merge

The biggest cost of the Hero Wars server merge is competitive progress. Guild War rankings are reset, and Arena and Grand Arena rankings are reset as well. The developers do soften the blow: you will still receive four weeks of Guild War rewards based on your final placement before the merge, while Arena and Grand Arena weekly rewards are paid out according to your last ranking. Once the new server opens, however, everyone starts climbing from scratch.

Guild Masters need to pay special attention here. If the account you choose to keep during the merge is not the one holding the Guild Master position, leadership automatically passes to the next eligible member in your guild’s hierarchy.

What Gets Deleted Permanently

Some data disappears entirely, and none of it can be recovered afterward. Your Clash of Worlds Battle Log is wiped after the merge, along with the Guild Raid Battle Log — including your records for Minion and Asgard boss attacks from the current week. If that history matters to you, export it before maintenance begins.

There is also a strict rule for players with characters on both merging servers: you can only keep one. You choose which character survives, and the other is permanently deleted. As compensation, you receive Emeralds equal to every payment made on the deleted account, so purchases are not completely lost. Any mail left on that deleted account, however, disappears with it.

Servers That Are NOT Being Merged

Out of 654 total servers, exactly 199 are staying untouched in this wave. The pattern here tells its own story. Almost all of the earliest servers survive on their own, which suggests their populations are still healthy after earlier consolidations. Meanwhile, every server from 498 upward is too new to be included, so the developers are clearly giving those communities time to settle before deciding anything.

Category Servers Staying As They Are
Veteran servers 1–23, 25, 27–31
Scattered mid-range survivors 45, 47, 50, 64, 67, 74, 75, 87, 133, 134, 140, 156, 306
Newest servers 498–654

Server 306 deserves a special mention, because it is the only mid-300s server left out entirely while everything around it gets consolidated. That usually points to an unusually strong and active community holding its own.

How to Prepare Before August 16

For individual players, the checklist is straightforward. First, verify your server with the tool at the top of this page. Second, export any battle logs you want to keep, because the Clash of Worlds and Guild Raid logs are erased for good. Third, decide what happens to duplicate accounts: let the extra one be deleted for Emerald compensation, or move it away with your Transfer Ticket. Finally, push Guild War, Arena, and Grand Arena as high as possible before maintenance, since all pre-merge rewards are paid out based on those final rankings.

Speaking of the Transfer Ticket — every affected player has already received one for free. It lets you move your character to an eligible older server without spending anything, so claim it from your in-game mail before it expires. When you are ready, open your profile, tap Change Server, and pick your destination. Just remember that once you transfer away, you cannot return to a merging server until the entire process is complete.

One more detail catches many guilds off guard. The current Clash of Worlds season continues normally through the merge, but qualifying for the next season still requires reaching Silver or Gold League in Guild War. Since Guild War rankings reset after the merge, every guild has to earn that position again — so make climbing back your guild’s first priority once the new server opens.

Prepare early, protect what matters, and you will step into the merged server with the advantage instead of the regret.
