Hero Wars Alliance Server Merge 2026
A new Hero Wars Alliance Server Merge has officially been announced, and this wave pulls in a large number of servers at once. The merges are scheduled for Sunday, September 27th, so if you accidentally deleted the in-game message or simply have not checked the announcement yet, do not worry. This guide breaks down exactly what is happening, what changes for affected players and Guilds, and the complete list of destination servers with everything being merged into them.
We have also linked the official announcement lower down, so you can double-check every detail for your specific server as the final reference.
How the Hero Wars Alliance Server Merge Works
First, let’s clarify how the process actually works, because your experience depends entirely on which side of the merge you are on. If your server is one of the servers being merged, your account is transferred automatically to its designated destination server, so there is nothing to move manually.
Players who are already on a destination server are not going anywhere. Instead, the players and Guilds from the merging servers will arrive on that server. Additionally, Guilds move together as a unit, which means your guildmates are not separated and forced to reorganize everything by hand after the merge.
Key Dates You Need to Remember
There are a few important dates and consequences that everyone affected should know about. Starting on September 21st, the servers involved in this wave are temporarily closed to server transfers. Therefore, if you are currently thinking about moving servers yourself, check the official list before making any decisions. Then, on September 27th, the actual merges take place.
According to the announcement, the merge process takes around 15 minutes on average. During that window, affected players will not be able to log in and play. There will also be an in-game notification beforehand that provides information about when the process is expected to happen, so keep an eye on your mailbox.
What Resets After the Merge
Once the servers come together, several competitive areas are affected. Here is exactly what changes and what stays the same.
Grand Arena restarts
Once the merge is finalized, everyone on the destination server — both the players who were already there and the accounts arriving from other servers — starts Grand Arena from the beginning. As compensation, players receive rewards based on the position they held in Grand Arena before the merge.
Guild Wars reset to the Qualifying League
Every Guild on the destination server, whether existing or incoming, restarts Guild Wars in the Qualifying League. Compensation is again distributed according to each Guild’s previous Guild War position, so nobody loses out on their ranking effort.
Global Championship stays the same
Unlike the two competitions above, your Guild’s Global Championship standing remains unchanged after the merge. Furthermore, the announcement confirms that this wave of merges will not affect Guild VS either.
Realm and Global Map positioning
The Realm situation depends on whether you are moving or receiving other servers. If you are already on the destination server, your Realm keeps its current position on the Global Map. However, if your server is being merged into another one, your Realm position is reset to a random spot on the map.
To help with that reshuffle, every player from all servers involved in the merge receives one Advanced Teleport through in-game mail once the process is complete. As a result, you and your Guild get a chance to coordinate again and decide where to position yourselves on the Global Map after everyone has arrived.
Multiple Accounts and How Servers Were Chosen
For anyone playing with multiple accounts, the developers addressed that situation directly. According to their announcement, in more than 99 percent of cases there should not be much of a problem, because the accounts will merge to different servers. In the remaining situations, accounts can be moved manually, or affected players can be contacted to resolve any merge issues.
As for how these servers were selected, the developers say several factors were taken into consideration, including the number of active players, the power of those players, and some technical considerations. Ultimately, the intention is to combine servers with mostly similar player populations so the competition stays balanced.
Full Hero Wars Alliance Server Merge List
Now for the part many of you came here to check: which servers are moving and where are they going? In the table below, the left column is the destination server, and the right column lists every server being merged into it. So find your server number, and remember that moving into a destination and receiving other servers are two very different situations for your Realm.
That is the complete list shown in the announcement. If your server appears above, make sure you understand whether you are moving to another server or receiving players, because those two scenarios play out very differently for your Realm and your position on the Global Map.
Quick Recap of the Server Merge
To wrap up, here are the essentials of this Hero Wars Alliance Server Merge in one place. On September 21st, affected servers close for transfers. Then on September 27th, Throne Rush ends early at 2 AM UTC, and the new wave of merges takes place. Grand Arena restarts for everyone, Guild Wars resets to the Qualifying League, Global Championship standings stay unchanged, and Guild VS is not affected. Finally, moving Realms receive a new random position on the Global Map, along with an Advanced Teleport afterward so you can regroup with your Guild.
