Galahad Relics Are Coming | Hero Wars Alliance
The news that Galahad Relics Are Coming has the community buzzing, and honestly it is about time we talked about him again. For so many of us, Galahad is where this entire journey began, so any hint that Relics might revive one of the original heroes is worth a closer look. He was one of the first heroes we ever met in Hero Wars: Alliance — the legendary leader of the Way of Honor, a rebellious and insatiable fighter standing at the front of our teams with his magic sword.
But as our accounts grew, new heroes arrived and new mechanics reshaped the battlefield, so Galahad slowly became a hero that many Guardians simply left behind. Now, with Relics changing heroes and opening fresh possibilities across Dominion, the obvious question returns: could they finally be what Galahad needs to make a real comeback? Before we can guess at what he might become, however, we need to remember what he already does, how his kit works, and which allies bring out his strengths.
Iron Skies: Galahad’s Signature Attack
We begin with his most recognizable move. Iron Skies unleashes what basically looks like a rain of blades across the enemy formation, dealing Physical Damage to multiple enemies at once. Naturally, hitting the whole enemy team always comes with a trade-off, because you are lowering several Health bars simultaneously while also potentially feeding those same enemies extra Energy.
Still, there is another side to that equation. When several enemies are weakened at the same time, you begin creating openings, and one strong follow-up attack can suddenly remove one or even two of them. Once the first enemy falls, the entire structure of a battle can shift in your favor. That is exactly the kind of pressure Galahad wants to build.
Breaking Free and Pushing the Frontline
Remember where Galahad fights — right at the front. Apparently, though, being at the front is never close enough for him. He can charge even farther forward, strip control effects from himself, and shove the nearest enemy. That push is far more interesting than it first appears, because changing the position of the opposing frontline can disrupt the enemy formation and widen the area some of your other frontline heroes can reach.
Picture a defense with one primary tank and a much more fragile damage dealer sitting immediately behind it in position two. Move that frontline, compress the formation, and suddenly attacks that were only pressuring the tank can start threatening the hero hiding behind it as well. This is Galahad being Galahad: control him and he wants to break free, block his path and he wants to push straight through it.
Retaliation: Hunting the Weakest Enemy
Meanwhile, whoever has the lowest remaining Health should probably start looking over their shoulder, because Galahad is looking for them too. Retaliation lets him strike the enemy with the least remaining Health, and this concept is genuinely clever. Sometimes the most dangerous hero is not standing where your normal attacks can easily reach.
A fragile damage dealer can sit protected behind an entire formation, surviving on a sliver of Health while still creating enormous problems. Galahad, however, does not care where that hero is hiding. As long as they are the weakest remaining target, Retaliation gives him another route to apply pressure and help finish the job.
The Pure Damage Upgrade
With its upgrade, Iron Skies becomes even nastier, since Galahad’s rain of blades can also deal additional Pure Damage. That is where the pain changes entirely, because Pure Damage does not have to fight through Armor or Magic Defense the way normal Physical or Magical Damage does. So now we are stacking widespread pressure from Iron Skies on top of a reliable Pure Damage component.
Even if that Pure Damage is not an absurd number on its own, context matters enormously. You are already damaging multiple enemies, already lowering Health bars, and already creating fresh targets for Retaliation. Add dependable Pure Damage into that loop, and Galahad starts building several different forms of pressure inside the very same battle.
Best Galahad Team Synergies in Hero Wars: Alliance
Of course, Galahad never fights alone, so preparing him properly means building the right engine around him. Several heroes immediately become interesting once you frame him as a Physical Damage frontline anchor. Here is a quick reference before we break each one down:
Luther and Fafnir: Chaos and Protection
Luther does something Galahad appreciates enormously by jumping directly into the enemy formation. Now the opponent has a problem behind its own frontline, so enemies turn toward Luther, pressure shifts away from your side, and he soaks up a considerable amount of attention and damage. While Luther is causing chaos in the back, Galahad keeps grinding the front, and the heroes behind him earn valuable breathing room.
Fafnir, meanwhile, has always been a key name in physical structures thanks to the protection and offensive support he provides. His Runic Shield can keep the team swinging, while Runic Blade adds another offensive layer, and both effects grow more important once he reaches his ultimate. That is precisely the kind of backbone Galahad wants at his side.
Tristan, Guus, and Artemis: Fueling the Damage
Tristan and Galahad share a relationship that just makes sense. Because Galahad fights directly in front of him, Tristan accelerates his Energy generation, reaches his ultimate faster, activates his Artifact Weapon, and supplies the Armor Penetration a Physical Damage structure craves. As a result, we stop looking at Galahad’s individual numbers and start seeing a full engine: Galahad pressures the frontline, Tristan accelerates, Armor Penetration arrives, and your Physical Damage becomes far more threatening.
Guus then brings Golden Feathers into the mix, offering healing to sustain the squad alongside a strong lift to the team’s Critical Hit side. When Galahad starts landing Critical Hits on top of his usual pressure, his damage climbs even higher. Finally, Artemis rounds things out as another major Physical Damage threat, giving the opponent yet one more danger to respect while Galahad and the frontline do their work.
Galahad Relics Are Coming: What We Actually Know
Let us be clear about the point of this whole discussion. We are not claiming Galahad is suddenly the strongest tank in Hero Wars: Alliance, and we are not calling him meta just because he is legendary to us. Nor will we pretend to know exactly what future Relics will do for him, because right now the data simply does not exist yet. What we can say is that Galahad’s mechanics deserve a fresh look.
Consider everything already in his kit. He pressures the entire enemy formation, frees himself from control while pushing forward, physically disrupts the opposing frontline, hunts the enemy with the lowest Health, and stacks Pure Damage onto his widespread attacks. On top of that, the heroes around him can supply protection, healing, Critical Hit Chance, Armor Penetration, and extra damage. The foundation clearly exists, so all Galahad really needs is an opportunity. Now that Galahad Relics Are Coming, that long-missing catalyst might finally arrive.
Where the Journey Began
This is what makes Galahad different for us. He is not simply another hero waiting on an update; for many Guardians, he is part of the very history of Hero Wars. He welcomed us into Dominion, we built him when we barely understood the game, and we watched Iron Skies fall across the enemy team while our accounts were still tiny. Eventually most of us moved on to different tanks, different damage dealers, and different metas, yet Galahad remained.
Personally, we would love to reach the day when Guardians look at him and no longer see only the starter hero from the tutorial. Instead, we want to see a hero who has earned a genuine reason to return to the battlefield. Whether Relics will be enough to make that happen is still unknown, and until the real data lands, we refuse to invent an answer. Even so, we will be ready. We will test him, test the teams around him, and test every interaction, so if Galahad finally gets his chance to rise again, Olympus Alliance will be right there to find out exactly what he can do. Some heroes are simply part of the meta; others are part of the journey — and Galahad is where the journey began.
