Mushy’s Max Health Secret | Hero Wars Alliance

Mushy's Max Health Secret

Mushy’s Max Health Secret is hiding in plain sight inside her new Halloween Legendary Relics, and it changes how we should think about her in Hero Wars Alliance. Since the relics arrived, many players have worried that a bigger Health pool could slow her Energy gain and hurt her damage against Hydras. After testing, however, we found the opposite. Mushy isn’t getting weaker. In fact, she’s getting more dangerous.

The key is a mechanic the skill descriptions never spell out clearly. So in this breakdown, we’ll walk through what Voracious Spores really does, why Perfect Copy at Level 10 matters so much, and what our Hydra tests actually showed.

The Hydra Worry: Could More Health Make Mushy Weaker?

First, the concern is fair. Mushy’s Hydra performance depends heavily on taking damage, generating Energy, and firing her Ultimate as often as possible. When players see a new mechanic that raises Maximum Health, it’s natural to wonder whether a larger Health pool could reduce her Ultimate frequency and, as a result, lower her overall damage.

That’s exactly why we didn’t want to make assumptions. Instead, we put the relics to the test.

How Mushy’s Max Health Secret Works: Voracious Spores

The secret begins with Legendary Relic Level 1, Voracious Spores. This ability activates five seconds after the battle begins and then repeats every twelve seconds. Each time, it targets the enemy with the highest Maximum Health, deals damage, and steals Maximum Health equal to 50% of the damage inflicted.

Here’s the detail that caught our attention, though. The description says Mushy steals Maximum Health, but it doesn’t clearly explain that the stolen Health also raises Mushy’s own Maximum Health stat. During our testing, that’s precisely what happened.

Legendary Relic Level Skill What It Does
Level 1 Voracious Spores Fires 5s into battle, then every 12s. Hits the enemy with the highest Max Health and steals Max Health equal to 50% of the damage dealt, raising Mushy’s own Max Health.
Level 10 Perfect Copy Active Shrooms receive the relic and start using Voracious Spores 5s after they activate.

Not Healing: Real Max Health Growth

This isn’t regular healing, and it isn’t simply restoring missing Health. Rather, Mushy’s actual Maximum Health increases during the fight, which is a completely different mechanic. Picture a hero who deals damage while also growing the amount of Health she can hold. Consequently, the longer the battle runs, the more chances she gets to stack this effect.

Perfect Copy: The Level 10 Upgrade That Multiplies Everything

Still, Voracious Spores is only the beginning. Legendary Relic Level 10, Perfect Copy, is where things become remarkable, and it’s one of the most important upgrades in Mushy’s entire relic system.

Once Mushy’s Shrooms become active, they also receive the relic and begin using Voracious Spores five seconds after activation. Yes, the little mushrooms are joining the party, and apparently nobody told them Halloween candy is supposed to be shared.

Think about what that means. Rather than Mushy alone casting Voracious Spores, multiple active Shrooms can use the same ability, and since it steals Maximum Health, they benefit from the same type of growth. Remember that Mushy can summon up to five Shrooms. Of course, they need to activate and survive long enough to use their abilities, but once that mushroom army gets going, the potential is enormous.

Mushy's Max Health Secret - Voracious Spores and Perfect Copy relic breakdown in Hero Wars Alliance

In short, Level 1 introduces the mechanic, while Level 10 multiplies it across the whole Shroom army. That’s why we see Perfect Copy as such a valuable investment.

The Survivability Loop

As Mushy and her Shrooms build larger Maximum Health pools, they become harder to eliminate. In turn, the Shrooms can stay active longer, keep attacking, and create even more chances to cast Voracious Spores. It’s a strong interaction between damage, Max Health growth, and survivability, and it only gets more dangerous in longer battles. Honestly, at this point even the Halloween witches might want to stay away from this forest.

Hydra Test Results: Weaker or Stronger?

Now for the question that started the whole debate. Could all that extra Maximum Health reduce Mushy’s Ultimate activations and drag down her damage? Based on our tests, the feared drop in performance simply didn’t show up.

Mushy kept benefiting from her offensive kit, while the new relics added extra damage on top. At the same time, her Maximum Health grew significantly during battle, which made her much harder for Hydras to bring down. That extra staying power is especially valuable in longer encounters, where surviving a little longer can make a real difference.

So rather than looking at a bigger Health pool and assuming Mushy must be weaker, we need to weigh everything happening together:

  • The additional damage from Voracious Spores
  • Active Shrooms gaining access to the same ability through Perfect Copy
  • Steady growth in Maximum Health over the course of the fight
  • Higher survivability that keeps Mushy and her mushroom army fighting

Taken together, our testing shows these relics can make Mushy more dangerous against Hydras, not less.

Why the Skill Descriptions Undersell These Relics

In our view, the in-game text should explain this interaction far more clearly. Voracious Spores mentions stealing Maximum Health, yet it never states that the stolen Health raises Mushy’s own Max Health stat. Similarly, Perfect Copy tells us the Shrooms receive the relic, but it doesn’t communicate how big that interaction can become.

These details matter a lot when players are deciding where to spend resources. Without testing, it’s easy to underestimate these upgrades, and that’s exactly why we dig into mechanics like this at Olympus Alliance.

Is It Worth Maxing Every Mushy Relic Right Away?

Not so fast. There are still some interesting surprises ahead. Next, we’ll look at Mushy’s best team combinations with the new relics. More importantly, we’ll cover where it makes sense to stop upgrading and which relic levels actually justify the resources. Some of those findings might surprise you.

Final Verdict on Mushy’s Max Health Secret

To sum up, Legendary Relic Level 1 introduces a Max Health-stealing mechanic that also grows Mushy’s own Maximum Health. Meanwhile, Level 10 lets her active Shrooms use that same ability, making it a crucial part of the combination. Together, they add offensive potential and build a far more resilient mushroom army.

Based on our Hydra testing, Mushy’s Max Health Secret doesn’t cost her any value. If anything, she becomes even more dangerous once battles last long enough for these mechanics to kick in. This Halloween, the witches aren’t the ones casting the scariest spells; they’re the ones falling off their broomsticks while Mushy takes over the battlefield.
