New Lords in Elemental Tournament 2026 Update
If you play Hero Wars: Dominion Era and grind Titans every week, you’ve probably noticed something strange in the Tournament of the Elements — the powerful Elemental Lords simply vanished. The good news is that they’re on their way back, and they aren’t returning alone. The new Lords in Elemental Tournament bring a reinforced stage 7 and an entirely new stage 8 built around the Elder Lords.
Below is exactly what changed, why the Lords disappeared in the first place, and what to expect once they return.
Why the Elemental Lords Vanished
The Tournament of the Elements has always capped its toughest fights with three Elemental Lords — Fire, Water, and Earth — waiting on stage 7. For a long time, beating them was a genuine endgame milestone.
Then the meta shifted. A wave of new Titans arrived, and the Totem system gained much deeper progression. As a result, top Titan teams grew far stronger than the Lords were ever tuned for. Once those Lords could be cleared almost effortlessly, they no longer served their purpose, so they were temporarily pulled from the lineup.
New Lords in the Elemental Tournament: What’s Coming Back
Now the Lords are being brought back — reinforced and ready to challenge modern Titan rosters all over again. Better still, the comeback adds a brand-new chapter to the mode. Here’s how the top two stages will look.
Stage 7 — The Elemental Lords Return
The Fire, Water, and Earth Lords reclaim their spot on stage 7. Defeating each one rewards a unique avatar, while clearing all three unlocks a special avatar frame.
Stage 8 — A New Chapter for the Elder Lords
This is the headline addition. A fresh stage 8 introduces the Elder Lords of every element, including the formidable Elder Dark Lord and Elder Light Lord. Their teams field Totems with Rank V Affinity Skills, which makes them the most demanding opponents in the entire Tournament.
Beating the Elder Dark Lord earns one avatar frame, the Elder Light Lord earns another, and conquering every Elder Lord grants an additional frame on top.
New Lords in Elemental Tournament — Stage Breakdown
Here’s how the two Lord stages stack up:
How the Tournament of the Elements Works
If you’re newer to the mode, here’s a quick refresher before you dive into the new Lords. The Tournament of the Elements is a cross-server Titan competition inside Titan Valley, and it unlocks once your account reaches team level 60. Each cycle runs from Monday at 2:00 AM UTC until Friday at 8:00 PM UTC.
How Battles and Points Work
Your goal is to earn
Stages, Raiding, and the Daily Reset
The mode now spans eight stages, each tougher than the last. Clear every opponent on a stage to advance, but keep in mind that battle records reset daily at 2:00 AM UTC — after the reset, you begin again from stage 1. Once you’ve fully cleared a stage, you can raid it to skip the manual grind, either one stage at a time or all at once. The 8th stage can even be raided from the start, and you’re free to replay a raid manually whenever you want a better result.
Matchmaking and Your Defense Team
Matchmaking weighs the power of your five strongest Titans, and it factors in Totem power too. For that reason, an opponent with weaker-looking Titans but a strong Totem can still pose a serious threat. Before your first attack on a stage, lock in your defense team carefully — afterward, you can only swap it at the next stage or after the daily reset.
Rewards in the Elemental Tournament
Pushing deeper toward the new Lords pays off across several Titan resources:
Elemental Tournament Coins — earned by hitting daily point milestones and spent in the Elemental Tournament Shop.
Essence of the Elements — granted for every battle you win, used to upgrade Titan artifacts.
- Ranking Rewards — based on your final weekly position, always including Elemental Tournament Certificates and gold, plus a cup and emeralds if you place high enough.
- Daily quest rewards — winning battles in the Tournament completes the “Win 1/6 battles” quest for five Titan Artifact Spheres.
Hall of Fame and Weekly Cups
When the Tournament ends each Friday at 8:00 PM UTC, you claim your ranking reward manually from the Hall of Fame. Players who finish inside the top 10,000 also earn a Tournament Cup based on their placement.
You can also revisit past champions inside the Hall of Fame, which is handy for tracking how the leaderboard shifts once the new Lords shake up those late stages again.
Should You Chase the New Lords?
Absolutely. Even if the reinforced Elemental Lords and the new Elder Lords sit out of reach right now, every battle, daily milestone, and bit of Essence still moves your Titans forward. Treat the late stages as long-term goals rather than instant must-clears.
Keep leveling your Titans, upgrading skins and artifacts, and deepening your Totems. Week by week, those gains are exactly what will carry you past the new Lords in the Elemental Tournament once they arrive.
