Orm Shop Guide 2026 | Clash of Worlds

Orm Shop Guide

This Orm shop guide shows you how to spend your Sapphire Medallions in the Clash of Worlds event. Every item costs one Medallion, so it’s easy to buy a little of everything. However, only a few buys really move your account forward. Below, we rank all 24 items and give you a clear order to buy them in.

First, finish the chapters with our Orm Event Guide. Then plan your energy and Altar pulls with the Orm Event Optimizer. After that, the shop is the last decision that really matters.

Orm Shop Guide: How Many Medallions Will You Get?

Medallions come from the event pass, the chapters and the Altar of Fate. On average, about one Altar pull in ten gives a Medallion. In addition, the Altar guarantees one after 2, 4 and 8 pulls, and then at least every 15 pulls.

So how many will you have? According to the Orm Event Optimizer, a free player ends with about 25 Medallions. A battle pass player gets about 58. With the pass and five days of Light + Medium charges, you get 95–113. That is your whole budget, so every Medallion counts.

Also, don’t sit on them. The Sapphire Shine quests pay energy for Medallions you spend. In total, they give up to 100 energy for 100 Medallions spent. As a result, buying early also gives you more energy for the chapters and the Altar.

Orm Shop Guide for Distortion Players: Buy These Four First

Four items in this shop exist for one reason: the Distortion team. If you play Orm or plan to build Distortion Titans, they are the best buys in the store. Moreover, this is your chance to get them. Next month’s season won’t include them, so you can’t simply pick them up later.

Not working on Distortion right now? Then skip all four. That’s a perfectly fine choice. After all, they do nothing for your other Titans. Instead, those Medallions go to the easy buys and gear materials below.

The Distortion Four — Only If You Build Distortion

Zorval’s Rite (500 / Medallion) — Orm’s own weapon artifact and the most valuable item in the shop. You need its fragments to awaken Zorval’s Rite and raise its stars. Outside this event, they are very hard to find.

Echo of Change (250 / Medallion) — upgrades the Elemental Spirit of Distortion (the Distortion Totem), together with Emeralds. Nothing else can replace it, and Trophies won’t buy it. So it’s only worth it if you use that totem.

Distorted Balance Seal (500 / Medallion) — Orm’s amulet artifact. It keeps paying off as more Distortion Titans arrive. Still, that only helps if Distortion is a team you actually play.

Crown of Distortion (500 / Medallion) — Orm’s armor artifact, shared by all Distortion Titans. Just like the Seal, it’s great for Distortion players and useless for everyone else.

In short: building Distortion? These four come first, and next season won’t bring them back. Not interested? Skip them and start with the easy buys.

How Many Zorval’s Rite Fragments Does Orm Need?

Each star of Orm’s weapon needs this many fragments in total. One Medallion buys 500.

Star Fragments (total) Medallions if the shop were your only source
1★ 60 1
2★ 500 1
3★ 1,900 4
4★ 4,400 9
5★ 9,400 19
6★ 18,400 37

However, the shop isn’t your only source. The event pass gives 200 fragments, plus 1,000 more on the paid track. In addition, Altar pulls drop about 13 fragments per pull on average. For example, a pass player with five days of charges ends with roughly 6,000 fragments, which is 4★. So about 7 Medallions take Zorval’s Rite to 5★.

Orm Shop Guide: The Easy Buys

Whether or not you bought the Distortion four, these two need no thought at all. Both keep paying off long after Clash of Worlds ends.

Large Skin Stone Chest – Orm shop guide

Large Skin Stone Chest — Buy

20 per Medallion. Skin stones add permanent stats to every hero you use. That makes these chests some of the cleanest value in the store.

Great enchantment rune – Orm shop guide

Great Enchantment Rune — Buy

50 per Medallion. Runes are useful at every stage of the game, so they never go to waste. Load up without a second thought.

The Orange Materials Worth Buying

Next in this Orm shop guide come the hard-to-farm Orange pieces. Orange is the tier most likely to hold your account back. Therefore, buy them when they match a gear wall you’re actually stuck on.

Lycanthrope’s Fang — Buy

2 per Medallion. A strong Orange material. Accounts get stuck on Orange the most, so it’s worth it whenever it matches your wall.

Alchemist’s Set — Buy

2 per Medallion. Reliable Orange value. Move it up your list if Alchemist’s Set gear is slowing your roster down.

Skip Every Violet Item This Event

None of the Violet items are worth a Medallion here. In fact, each one is cheaper to build through normal gear farming than with premium event currency.

Hand of Glory — Skip

10 per Medallion. A fine material, but not for Medallions. It piles up through everyday play anyway.

Minotaur’s Head — Skip

10 per Medallion. Same as Hand of Glory: normal farming gives it to you far more cheaply.

Flaming Heart — Skip

10 per Medallion. A good material in the wrong store. So leave it to your regular farming.

Giant-Slayer — Skip

10 per Medallion. Usually excellent. However, most accounts already hold plenty of La Mort’s Cards from recent events.

Trine — Skip

3 per Medallion. The oldest trap in the shop. Instead, craft it through normal gear progression and Gold.

Orm Shop Guide: It Depends on Your Account

These three sit in the maybe pile. Whether they deserve a Medallion depends on your roster and your stockpiles right now.

Bottled Energy – Orm shop guide

Bottled Energy — Situational

15 per Medallion. Do Tournament of Power or Area of Conquest keep you full of Bottled Energy? Then spend elsewhere. Otherwise, it’s a sensible pick.

La Mort’s Card — Situational

2 per Medallion. A fine Orange material. Still, many players already have a pile of La Mort’s Cards. So only buy it if La Mort gear is truly your bottleneck.

Aigrette of Nocturnal Cicadas — Situational

1 per Medallion. Treat it like any Red piece. Grab it if it’s on a wall you’re stuck on right now; otherwise, walk past it.

Spend With Discipline

Evening Curfew — Buy a Few

1 per Medallion. A good Red item, but it rewards self-control. Pick up a few if you need them, then stop. This is exactly where Medallions quietly disappear.

More Traps to Avoid

A few items look tempting but quietly cost you progress. Avoiding them is where this Orm shop guide saves you the most Medallions.

Huge EXP potion – Orm shop guide

Huge Experience Potion — Skip

300 per Medallion. Your main heroes are already at or near max level. As a result, these barely matter.

Chaos Particle — Skip

700 per Medallion. A big number that doesn’t move your account. Instead, send those Medallions to the harder materials above.

Flawless Artifact Chest – Orm shop guide

Flawless Artifact Chest — Skip

60 per Medallion. It looks appealing, but it delivers little for a premium Medallion.

Lesser Hero Soul Stone Chest – Orm shop guide

Lesser Hero Soul Stone Chest — Skip

1 per Medallion. For an established roster, the return is tiny. So leave it on the shelf.

The Titan Section: Hold for Now

This is where the expensive mistakes hide, and where this Orm shop guide differs from most advice. None of these bulk Titan items are bad. However, buying them is worse than letting the same Medallion turn into Titan Resource Chests when the event ends.

Here is why. Each chest lets you choose 2,500 Titan Potion, 5,000 Essence of the Elements or 2,000 Titan Skin Stone. On top of that, one Medallion becomes ten chests.

Titan Potion — Hold

The shop gives 20,000 per Medallion. In contrast, ten Titan Resource Chests give 25,000 Titan Potion. So buying direct loses 5,000.

Essence of the Elements – Orm shop guide

Essence of the Elements — Hold

The shop gives 40,000 per Medallion. Meanwhile, the end conversion gives 50,000 for the same Medallion.

Titan Skin Stone — Hold

The shop gives 15,000 per Medallion. By comparison, ten chests give 20,000 Titan Skin Stone.

Orm Shop Guide: What Happens to Leftovers

The End Conversion

Titan Resource Chest – Orm shop guide

The shop disappears when the event ends. At that point, unspent resources turn into Titan Resource Chests. Each chest lets you pick one titan resource. The best picks are 2,500 Titan Potion, 5,000 Essence of the Elements or 2,000 Titan Skin Stone. Gold, Elemental Tournament Coins and Seal Chests are also on the list.

  • 1 Sapphire Medallion → 10 Titan Resource Chests
  • 3 Energy Crystals → 1 Titan Resource Chest
  • 1,500 Valor Coins → 1 Titan Resource Chest

This sets a value floor for the whole store. In other words, a purchase has to beat ten Titan Resource Chests per Medallion. The Distortion four (for Distortion players) and the hard gear materials clear it easily. The bulk Titan items don’t. Energy is the opposite: three crystals for one chest is a poor deal. So exchange leftover energy for Valor Coins and pull at the Altar before the event ends.

The Golden Rule: Buy the Hardest Gear First

This Orm shop guide follows one simple rule: always spend on the gear that is hardest to get. For example, premium Orange gear often takes around 100 energy to farm. Cheaper pieces sit around 60 to 80. Over time, that gap adds up.

So the order stays simple: Orange first, then Red, then Violet. Orange has always been the biggest choke point in Hero Wars. Once Red +4 equipment arrives, Red becomes the top buy. Until then, Orange wears the crown.

Final Word on This Orm Shop Guide

To sum up, this Orm shop guide comes down to three habits. First, decide whether Distortion is a team you’re building. If it is, the four Distortion items come first, because they won’t return next season. Second, avoid the obvious traps. Third, spend early, so the Sapphire Shine quests turn your purchases into extra energy.

Finally, plan the rest of the event with the Orm Event Optimizer. Also keep an eye on the Hero Wars event calendar. For official news and updates, visit the official Hero Wars website.
