Grand Caravan Review | Hero Wars Alliance

Grand Caravan Review

This Grand Caravan review breaks down the second part of our Bountiful Roads coverage for Hero Wars Alliance, approached from a Free-to-Play perspective. After covering Roads Unlocked, we now turn to the event’s seven task categories, the rewards they unlock, and two big prizes you’ll want to think carefully about: Yasmine’s Super Skin at 60 completed tasks and Mojo’s second Talisman at the top of the Emerald spending objectives.

Our goal here is simple: realistic objectives and efficient resource management. Below, we walk through every category, show what a sensible target looks like, and then explain what it would actually take to push further.

What Is Grand Caravan?

Grand Caravan is a seven-day task event that runs as part of Bountiful Roads. Each category has its own milestones, and every milestone you clear counts toward your total completed tasks. Those completed tasks also feed into additional rewards in the Bountiful Roads tab, which we’ll examine in our combined Bountiful Roads analysis.

Task Category Requirement F2P Approach
Log In Daily logins over 7 days Complete fully
Get VIP Earn VIP points No extra progress assumed
Spend Emeralds Up to 100,000 Emeralds Around 1,000 Emeralds
Artifact Coins Up to 60,000 spent Achievable for many
Valkyrie’s Chests Open Artifact Chests Use saved Artifact Keys
Arena Up to 30 attacks Complete all 30
Lose Troops Up to 50,000 troop losses Around 10,000

The Free-to-Play Target: Around 42 Tasks

For our standard Free-to-Play strategy, we’re aiming for approximately 42 completed tasks. That number comes from finishing the categories that cost little or nothing, while only partially progressing the ones that demand a heavy investment. Here’s how each category fits into that plan.

Log In and Get VIP

Log in every day throughout the seven-day event to collect these rewards. As for VIP points, our calculations assume no additional VIP progression during the event, so anything you gain here is a bonus on top of our target.

Spend Emeralds

We expect most Free-to-Play players to reach the 1,000 Emerald milestone without a significant investment. However, if you’re after specific Talismans or other shop rewards, you can buy additional Spooky Coins with Emeralds through the reward box on the right side of the screen. Doing so also pushes you further through the Emerald objectives.

Mojo’s second Talisman sits in this category too, but reaching it requires spending 100,000 Emeralds. In our assessment, that’s hard to justify for Mojo alone. He isn’t currently among our highest development priorities, and the expenditure is considerable for a single Talisman.

Artifact Coins

This objective asks you to spend up to 60,000 Artifact Coins, which we believe is achievable for many players. If you’re developing a particular Hero, prioritize the materials that Hero needs first.

Otherwise, generic Artifact Rings are a smart pick. There are only three types, and since they’re useful across multiple Heroes, they make a practical investment for future development.

Valkyrie’s Chests

This category requires opening Artifact Chests. Recent events have offered plenty of opportunities to collect Artifact Keys, so we expect many players to already have enough saved to complete this objective.

Arena

Grand Caravan requires up to 30 Arena attacks during the event. Some of those extra attacks may cost Emeralds, although Arena’s daily ranking rewards can help offset that spending. For example, Champions II provides 1,000 Emeralds daily, while Champions I provides 300, as long as you hold the corresponding ranking.

With the new Arena season underway, many players are already working to climb. For that reason, we recommend completing all 30 attacks and spreading them across the seven days.

Lose Troops

This Realm objective goes up to 50,000 troop losses. That’s a significant amount, especially since a similar task appeared last week, and the rewards are relatively modest in comparison.

Instead of chasing the full objective, simply continue your normal Realm activities, including the 10 daily boss raids. Players taking part in Guild PvP activities later in the week may also pick up additional losses naturally. In our event calculations, we’re using approximately 10,000 troop losses.

Grand Caravan Review: What 42 Tasks Gets You

Following the approach above, our recommended target lands at roughly 42 completed tasks. Based on our calculations, that delivers the following rewards:

Reward Amount at ~42 Tasks
Spooky Coins 9,350
Adventure Coins 20,150
Season Pass Trophies 270

That’s a solid return for an event plan that mostly relies on activities you’d be doing anyway. Better still, those Spooky Coins carry straight into the Bountiful Roads shop, which we’ll break down separately.

Pushing to 60 Tasks for Yasmine’s Super Skin

Yasmine’s Super Skin requires 60 completed tasks, so you’ll need progress well beyond our standard recommendation. The main opportunities for extra tasks are Emerald spending, troop losses, and VIP points. For Free-to-Play players, troop losses and Emerald spending are the more practical routes.

According to our calculations, reaching approximately 40,000 troop losses and spending 6,000 Emeralds could get you to the 60-task milestone. If you decide to spend those Emeralds, it’s worth waiting for the Outland Sale to improve the value of that investment.

Yasmine is a dangerous Hero, and her Super Skin can be worthwhile if she’s an important part of your teams. On the other hand, sacrificing valuable resources just to collect a skin for a Hero you’re not actively developing is hard to justify. Ultimately, the decision comes down to your account and your priorities.

Final Verdict

To wrap up this Grand Caravan review, our standard recommendation remains approximately 42 tasks, which secures 9,350 Spooky Coins, 20,150 Adventure Coins, and 270 Season Pass Trophies without straining your account. If Yasmine’s Super Skin is a priority, there’s a realistic path to 60 tasks through extra troop losses and a measured Emerald spend. Meanwhile, Mojo’s second Talisman at 100,000 Emeralds is a steep price that most Free-to-Play players will find difficult to justify.

Are you sticking with the Free-to-Play plan, or going for Yasmine’s Super Skin? And would you ever spend 100,000 Emeralds on Mojo’s second Talisman? Let us know in our Discord.
