Hero Wars November Season Explained 2026

Hero Wars November Season

The Hero Wars November Season went live on November 2nd, and after a few days with it, we can now cover what the official announcement left out. We checked the game files on launch day, captured the rewards ourselves, and compared everything against the official post. Honestly, some of what we found is not great news, especially for free-to-play players.

If you need a refresher on the basics first, here is the short version: the Season lasts 28 days, it follows a four-week rhythm, Hero Season replaces the old Silver Season, and a Tournament of Power runs every week. In this breakdown, we go through the calendar, both Hero Season tracks, the tournament rewards, the Area of Conquest rebalance and the full skin lineup.

The Hero Wars November Season Calendar

First of all, this Season is packed with short events. Some of them last a single day, so if you can’t log in every day, the system is going to feel tight. Here is the full lineup, week by week:

Week Event Dates
Week 1 Area of Conquest Nov 2 – 5
Week 1 Hero Cosmic Battle Nov 5 – 7
Week 1 The Path of a Warrior Nov 5 – 7
Week 1 Fate’s Wish Nov 6
Week 1 Hero Tournament of Power Week 1
Week 2 Emerald Waterfalls Nov 10 – 13
Week 2 Seer’s Game Nov 13 – 15
Week 3 Territory of Titans Nov 16 – 19
Week 3 Titan Cosmic Battle Nov 19 – 21
Week 3 Weaving Patterns All week
Week 3 Fate’s Wish Nov 20
Week 4 K’arkh’s Path of Legends (Ascension Adventure) Nov 23 – 29
Week 4 Seer’s Game Nov 26 – 28

Hero Season: What the Game Files Revealed

This is where the game files filled in the gaps. The Hero Season has 51 levels spread across the 28 days, and it unlocks at team level 30. Reaching the top takes 20,000 Hero Season XP in total.

Reward Free Track Paid Track
Wodryn soul stones 100 450
Energy 2,500 16,000
Wodryn skin stone — Yes
Silver Chests — 4
Hero gear Some Better gear
Emeralds 0 0

Notice what’s missing from both lists: Emeralds. There is not a single one, on either track. Keep that in mind, because it’s not the only place this Season where Emeralds disappeared.

The Soul Stone Gap

Now look at the soul stones: 100 against 450. That split puts the Season’s own hero mostly behind the paid track. Since each Season is built around a different character, the value of the pass now depends entirely on who the Season features. In a month where the hero isn’t someone we’re building, the paid track gets very hard to justify. On the other hand, in a month where they are, the free track feels thin.

Where Hero Season XP Comes From

As a reminder, Hero Season XP comes only from events, so daily quests won’t move the track. What we can add now is a sense of scale. For example, the last “Spend Energy” quest in Area of Conquest pays 500 Hero Season XP. Meanwhile, first place in a single Tournament of Power pays 8,000. That’s 40 percent of the whole track from one ranking.

Tournament of Power Rewards

It’s not just first place, either. The new ranking rewards apply to the top three in every spending bracket:

Place Hero Season XP Other Rewards
1st 8,000 Top-tier ranking rewards
2nd 4,000 160 Energy Crystals, 8 Sapphire Medallions
3rd 2,000 120 Energy Crystals, 6 Sapphire Medallions

As a result, the players who place in tournaments every week will fly through the Season, while everyone else collects XP in much smaller pieces from quests. A podium in a strong bracket usually takes spending, so in practice this links Season progress to tournament placement more tightly than the Silver Season ever did.

Every tournament also gets its own shop for that week, but it doesn’t change that picture. It’s really for accounts that already have everything maxed, since those players can trade resources sitting useless in their inventory for tournament points. Whether that trade is worth it is another story. For most accounts, though, this shop isn’t a way to catch up.

Hero Wars November Season Emerald changes

The Area of Conquest Rebalance

Now comes the part that stings the most. Area of Conquest got rebalanced, and we saw it live on November 2nd.

The Pass Lost Every Emerald

Both the free and paid tracks of the Area of Conquest pass were reworked, and every single Emerald was removed from both of them. That’s the change that hurts free-to-play players. After all, the free track was one of the few steady Emerald sources that didn’t cost anything, and it’s simply gone.

Special Quests: A Spender Loss Too

However, free players aren’t the only ones who lost out. The “Special Quests” chain, which runs on VIP points, changed like this:

October November Season
35,550 Emeralds 22,000 Superior Coins
25 Hero Upgrade Chests 30 Speed Boosters
— 10 Health Potions

This one hits spenders. Because Special Quests run on VIP points, those Emeralds were part of what players got back for spending. Over 35,000 Emeralds every run is not a small number to lose, and what replaced it is worth far less. Speed Boosters and Health Potions are nice to have, but they don’t come close to that many Emeralds. For anyone who planned skins, pre-orders or summons around that return, this is a real cut.

The Positives Worth Naming

To be fair, there are some positives in the rebalance:

  • Guild Prestige was added to most quest chains, about 3,000 Prestige across the whole event, which is good news for guilds.
  • The “Reaching the Top” chain, with the Outland chests, went from 3,900 Superior Coins to 8,600.
  • Prestige cycles now follow the Season as well, and cycle 100 runs with this Season and ends on November 29th.

So the event is not worse in every way. Still, the headline change is the Emeralds, and free players and spenders will both feel it.

The Bigger Pattern for Free-to-Play

Put that next to the rest of the system and a pattern shows up. Hero Season XP only comes from events, and Adventure resources get exchanged at the end of the Season instead of carrying over. On top of that, the Season’s hero sits mostly on the paid track. Neither the Hero Season nor the Area of Conquest pass pays a single Emerald on either track, and even spenders lost their Emeralds from Special Quests.

Each change on its own can be argued. Together, though, they make it much harder to be patient, save up and plan long-term as a free player, and that has always been the main strength of free-to-play in Hero Wars.

Ascension Every Month

There’s one more thing to keep in mind. Week four of every Season is an Ascension Adventure, and this month it’s K’arkh’s Path of Legends, from November 23rd to the 29th. We’ve said it before: Ascension skills can turn a hero from trash into meta, and the community asked for more of them. Even so, making Ascension a fixed part of every single Season is not the version that helps free players. Instead, it’s another monthly pull on resources that are already harder to collect.

Every Skin in the Hero Wars November Season

The game files also show the whole skin lineup for the Season:

Date Skins
Nov 2 Eva Cybernetic, Jorgen Stellar
Nov 9 Lumira Primordial, Apollo Primordial
Nov 13 Jhu Demonic
Nov 16 Wodryn Sakura (arrives with the adventure; already in the early shop for 90 Sapphire Medallions)
Nov 23 Amira Space, Martha Masquerade
Nov 26 New skins for Valdur and Echo

That’s a lot of skins in one Season, so choosing which ones are actually worth it matters more than usual this month. A skin on a hero we play every day is permanent stats. By contrast, a skin on a hero sitting on the bench is very hard to justify right now.

Quick Hits

  • Adam is now in the Soul Atrium, which is good news for anyone still working on him.
  • The November island needs 147 moves for a full clear, compared to 55 moves for the Emerald route.
  • Demon Dolls show up three times: November 7th to 8th, 15th to 16th, and 29th to 30th.

What Comes After November

The first Titan Season begins on November 30th, and Lucky Road runs from November 30th to December 3rd. There’s also something to treat carefully here. The game files still list December the old way, with a Silver Season and a Champions Season from December 1st to January 1st. We don’t think that’s what will actually happen. November was rebuilt right at launch, and we expect December to get the same treatment. As soon as it changes, we’ll update the calendar here on the Olympus blog.

Final Verdict

So, where does the Hero Wars November Season leave us? There are real positives here: the four-week rhythm is predictable, guilds get more Prestige, and preparing early for the adventure is a smart idea. Then again, add up zero Emeralds in the Hero Season, zero on either track of the Area of Conquest pass, the lost Emeralds from Special Quests, the soul stone gap between the tracks, XP tied so heavily to tournament placement, and Ascension every month. Put together, this system asks more of free players and gives them less room to plan.

We’ll keep tracking every week of this Season, and if it gets better, we’ll be the first to say so. In the meantime, tell us how the first days felt on your account. Is losing the Emeralds from Area of Conquest as big a deal for you as it is for us?
