Crow Relics Complete Guide | Hero Wars Alliance
This Crow Relics Complete Guide breaks down every relic in Crow’s set. After testing the full progression, these relics genuinely impressed me. The reason isn’t that they simply inflate his damage or push a few numbers. Instead, they fundamentally improve what Crow was already designed to do. They don’t change his identity — they perfect it.
Every new relic builds naturally on the previous one. Each upgrade creates a hero who becomes more consistent, more oppressive, and much harder for mage compositions to handle. Crow was already introduced as an anti-mage specialist. His relics don’t transform him into something different. Instead, they take the exact role he was created for and push it to another level.
Does that mean everyone should immediately spend every Relic Shard they own? No. But maybe you’ve been saving your shards and asking who’s actually worth investing in. If so, Crow deserves to be part of that conversation. As we walk through each relic below, you’ll understand exactly why.
Relic Level 1 – Witch Hunt
At first glance, you might think Witch Hunt is just another passive. The description suggests a little extra damage every few seconds. It isn’t that simple. This relic immediately fixes one of the biggest limitations of Crow’s original kit.
Before relics, Crow was exceptional at applying Silence. But he mostly hit isolated targets or small groups through his active abilities. Now, every 12 seconds, Crow automatically hunts down the enemy with the highest Intelligence. That’s exactly the hero he’s designed to eliminate. If that target isn’t Silenced, the relic applies a fresh 5-second Silence.
Here’s the part that completely changes the battlefield. If that target is already under Silence, the effect doesn’t simply refresh. Instead, it spreads the Silence to every nearby enemy for the remaining duration. Crow is no longer just controlling one dangerous mage. He’s turning one Silenced target into the center of a chain reaction. One mage becomes two, and two become three. Suddenly an entire backline can lose access to their abilities — and Crow hasn’t even cast an active skill.
This is what I mean when I say these relics don’t just add damage. They amplify Crow’s identity. His control becomes more reliable, more consistent, and far more oppressive against Intelligence-based teams. And this is only Relic Level 1.
Relic Level 10 – Silencing the Whole Battlefield
This is where you realize these relics weren’t designed to simply increase Crow’s numbers. They were built to remove his biggest limitation. Before this upgrade, Silent Judgment was already an excellent opening ability. It attacked the entire front line and applied Silence to every enemy whose main stat was Intelligence. Against mage-heavy teams, that alone was incredibly powerful.
But the developers asked one question: why only Intelligence heroes? This relic answers it. From Relic Level 10 onward, Silent Judgment no longer targets only Intelligence heroes. It now applies Silence to every single enemy on the battlefield for eight full seconds.
That isn’t increasing the duration or adding a little more damage. It completely removes the restriction of the skill. Every hero, every class, every position — frontline, midline, backline — everyone is affected. And that’s a massive improvement, because Crow’s entire kit revolves around enemies being under Silence.
The more enemies carrying Silence, the more value every other skill generates. His grenade suddenly has far more targets already affected. The passive spreads Silence even more consistently. And his later relics grow much stronger, because they’re constantly interacting with silenced enemies. This relic doesn’t create random power — it creates synergy.
Relic Level 20 – Holy Grenade’s Chain Reaction
This is the relic where Crow stops simply controlling the battlefield and starts punishing everyone trapped inside it. Before this upgrade, Holy Grenade had a clear purpose. It searched for the enemy with the highest Intelligence, applied Silence, and dealt area damage around that target. Against mages, it was fantastic.
Now the developers take that exact mechanic and multiply its impact. Instead of only exploding around the primary target, the grenade now creates shards. Those shards strike every enemy already affected by Silence, plus the enemies around each of those targets. Earlier, we upgraded Silent Judgment so it could Silence the entire battlefield. Holy Grenade takes full advantage of that setup. The more enemies carrying Silence, the more explosions occur, and the more damage spreads across the battlefield.
But that’s not all. Every enemy hit by those grenade shards also has their Silence extended by another two seconds. That’s absolutely massive, because Crow doesn’t simply want enemies Silenced — he wants them to stay Silenced. Longer Silence means more chances for his passive to trigger. It gives his other skills more time to interact with those targets. And it leaves enemy mages far less time to recover and cast.
It’s a chain reaction. More Silence creates more explosions. Those explosions extend the Silence even further, which keeps Crow’s entire kit rolling. This is no longer just crowd control — this is battlefield domination.
Relic Level 30 – The Holy Grail
This is the relic that completely convinced me. If someone asked why Crow is one of the best relic investments we’ve seen in a long time, this relic would be my answer. It isn’t another damage increase or stat boost. Instead, it changes how entire battles are played.
As long as at least one enemy is affected by Silence, enemies cannot apply Debuffs or Curses. Read that again: they cannot apply Debuffs or Curses. That’s enormous. You’re not only shutting down abilities — you’re shutting down the mechanics that entire heroes depend on to function.
Who Crow Shuts Down
Take Iris. Her terrifying Inner Fire damage-over-time is one of the reasons she dominates so many fights. Without being able to properly apply those effects, a huge part of her pressure simply disappears. Now think about Tempus. His Chronostasis is one of the strongest control mechanics in the game. Once again, you’re interfering with the very mechanics that make him dangerous. Then there’s Folio, whose entire gameplay revolves around applying effects and controlling the battlefield. Once more, Crow disrupts exactly what that hero wants to accomplish.
This relic doesn’t target one specific hero. It attacks an entire category of mechanics. Any hero that leans on Debuffs or Curses has to respect Crow on the battlefield. The same applies to current heroes and future ones alike. That’s why this relic has incredible long-term value. It doesn’t just counter today’s meta — it can counter tomorrow’s meta too.
Remember, this effect stays active as long as Crow is alive and one enemy is under Silence. By now we’ve seen Silence cover the whole battlefield, spread, and last longer. Keeping enemies permanently affected is far more realistic than it first sounds. Every previous relic was building toward this one objective: keep Silence active. That lets this relic continuously deny one of the strongest categories of mechanics in Hero Wars. For me, this is the Holy Grail of Crow’s relics.
Crow Relics Complete Guide: Quick Reference
Here’s the whole progression at a glance. What stands out across this Crow Relics Complete Guide is how cohesive the design is. One relic prepares the battlefield, and the next one exploits it. Nothing feels random, and nothing feels wasted.
| Relic Level | Relic | Key Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Witch Hunt | Every 12 seconds, hunts the highest-Intelligence enemy and applies a 5-second Silence — or, if that target is already Silenced, spreads the Silence to nearby enemies for the remaining duration. |
| Level 10 | Silent Judgment | Silences every enemy on the battlefield for 8 seconds, regardless of class or main stat — no longer limited to Intelligence heroes. |
| Level 20 | Holy Grenade | Creates shards that strike every Silenced enemy and those around them, and extends Silence by 2 seconds on each enemy hit. |
| Level 30 | Holy Grail | While at least one enemy is Silenced (and Crow is alive), enemies cannot apply Debuffs or Curses. |
The Verdict on Crow’s Relics
What I love about this progression is that every upgrade strengthens the previous one. Every relic builds naturally into the next, so nothing feels isolated. It’s one of the most cohesive, well-designed relic sets we’ve seen. These relics don’t simply make Crow stronger. They take an already-excellent anti-mage specialist and turn him into a hero who can disrupt some of the strongest control and debuff compositions in the game.
That’s exactly why, from the start, I said these relics impressed me. Every single upgrade reinforces his identity. The whole kit continuously feeds itself, growing stronger with each level rather than just adding a bit more damage.
That wraps up this Crow Relics Complete Guide. In the next videos, we’ll test him against the current meta and explore the best team compositions. We’ll also break down his strongest synergies and counters, and show you exactly where he shines on the battlefield.
Maybe you’ve been saving your Relic Shards, waiting for a hero truly worth investing in. If so, Crow has certainly earned a place in that conversation. As always — stay tuned, stay sharp, and salute and friendship.
