Defiant Edge Complete Guide | Hero Wars Alliance

Defiant Edge Complete Guide

Welcome, Guardians, to our Defiant Edge Complete Guide for the brand-new Balance of Power event in Hero Wars Alliance. Balance of Power runs for a full seven days, and because it packs in so much, we are splitting our coverage into three parts so every subevent gets the attention it deserves. Part One, which you are reading now, is dedicated entirely to Defiant Edge, its eight task categories, and exactly how many Event Coins it can hand you.

In Part Two we will move on to Unbroken Bond, and in Part Three we will break down Gear & Glory before delivering our final verdict on the whole event. For now, though, let us get the foundation right, because understanding Defiant Edge first makes the rest of the Balance of Power economy far easier to judge.

What Is the Balance of Power Event?

Balance of Power is this week’s main event, and it is built from three connected subevents that all feed into a single Event Shop. Instead of one massive grind, the event asks you to complete tasks across Defiant Edge, Unbroken Bond, and Gear & Glory, each of which pours Event Coins into the same currency pool. Those coins are what you ultimately spend on the shop’s headline rewards, so the smart approach is to know where the coins actually come from before you start chasing anything.

Balance of Power Event Shop: Rewards Worth Tracking

Before we dive into Defiant Edge, it helps to know what your Event Coins are working toward. The headline reward is Nebula’s Singularity Skin, and there are a few other standout options alongside it.

  • Nebula’s Singularity Skin costs 90,000 Event Coins. The Skin+ then costs a further 300,000 Event Coins, but it only unlocks after you own the base Skin. Therefore, if your goal is both the base Skin and Skin+, you are looking at a combined 390,000 Event Coins.
  • Relics for Miu, Drayne, Kendle, and Somna. Each purchase gives two Relic Shards for 9,300 Event Coins, up to a maximum of ten purchases per option.
  • Artifact Weapon and Book Fragments for Crow and Kendle. Each purchase provides five fragments for 12,500 Event Coins, capped at five purchases each.
  • Everything else: Skin Stone Chests, Skin Stones, Energy, Speedups, Realm resources, and a wide spread of Gear pieces.

We will circle back to this shop in Part Three, once all three subevents are calculated and we can see where the real value sits for your particular account. Meanwhile, keep that 390,000 figure in mind, because it becomes the benchmark for judging Defiant Edge.

Defiant Edge Complete Guide task rewards in the Balance of Power event for Hero Wars Alliance

Defiant Edge Complete Guide: All Eight Task Categories

Defiant Edge lasts the full seven days and is split into eight task categories. Some are effortless daily collects, while others are heavy resource sinks that reward you handsomely for the spend. Here is how each one works, along with the Event Coins on offer.

1. Day After Day

This is the simplest task of the bunch. You just log in each day and collect the rewards, which include Event Coins and Artifact Chests. Across the seven days, it delivers a maximum of 3,500 Event Coins for essentially zero effort.

2. Generous Soul

Generous Soul is the VIP Points task, and it rewards Event Coins, Season Pass Points, Titan Soul Stones, and Adventure Coins. Full completion can hand you a hefty 26,750 Event Coins per day, which adds up to a maximum of 187,250 across the week. Realistically, however, this is not a target every account can hit, so we will keep this total separate when we tally the event.

3. Energy of Evolution

Here the objective is simply spending Energy. In return you earn a generous mix that includes Event Coins, Titan Soul Stones, Titan Skin Stones, Artifact Chest Keys, Adventure Energy, Season Pass Points, Artifact Chests, Titan Potions, Mastery Crystals, and Elemental Spheres. At most, this task provides 4,400 Event Coins per day, giving a seven-day maximum of 30,800.

4. Hidden Reserves

Hidden Reserves asks you to spend Titan Potions. The payout covers Event Coins, Titan Soul Stones, Titan Skin Stones, Red Gear Fragments, Artifact Chest Keys, Adventure Coins, Elemental Spheres, and Season Pass Points. You can pull up to 3,750 Event Coins per day from it, which works out to a maximum of 26,250 over the event.

5. Power Balance

Power Balance is one of the biggest coin sources in Defiant Edge. To complete it, you spend Rune Stones and strengthen your Hero Glyphs. The rewards are equally rich, spanning Event Coins, Titan Soul Stones, Fairy Dust, Artifact Chest Keys, Artifact Chests, Titan Skin Stones, Season Pass Points, Meta Cubes, Mastery Crystals, Elemental Spheres, and Red Gear Fragments. Impressively, it can provide up to 14,700 Event Coins per day, for a maximum of 102,900 across the seven days.

6. Summoning Titans

Another straightforward one: you simply open Summoning Spheres. The rewards include Event Coins, Season Pass Points, Mastery Crystals, Red Gear Fragments, and Adventure Coins. Altogether, it can grant up to 5,300 Event Coins per day, adding up to a maximum of 37,100 over seven days.

7. Trial of Strength

For Trial of Strength, the objective is fighting in the Arena. Your rewards here are Event Coins, Season Pass Points, Adventure Energy, Titan Skin Stones, and Adventure Coins. This task provides up to 4,350 Event Coins per day, or a maximum of 30,450 across the full event.

8. Payback Time

Finally, Payback Time tasks you with defeating Adventure or Realm Bosses. The rewards cover Event Coins, Titan Skin Stones, Season Pass Points, Adventure Coins, and several handy Realm resources. In total, it can deliver up to 4,850 Event Coins per day, contributing another 33,950 across the seven days.

Defiant Edge Event Coin Summary

Task Requirement Per Day 7-Day Max
Day After Day Log in daily 500 3,500
Generous Soul Earn VIP Points 26,750 187,250
Energy of Evolution Spend Energy 4,400 30,800
Hidden Reserves Spend Titan Potions 3,750 26,250
Power Balance Spend Rune Stones / Glyphs 14,700 102,900
Summoning Titans Open Summoning Spheres 5,300 37,100
Trial of Strength Fight in Arena 4,350 30,450
Payback Time Defeat Adventure / Realm Bosses 4,850 33,950
Total excluding Generous Soul 264,950
Total including Generous Soul 452,200

How Many Event Coins Does Defiant Edge Really Provide?

Now we can put the numbers together. If we set aside Generous Soul and its demanding VIP requirement, the remaining seven task categories in Defiant Edge contain a maximum of 264,950 Event Coins. That is the figure most players should treat as their realistic ceiling for Part One.

However, if you can fully complete Generous Soul and claim its 187,250 Event Coins, the complete theoretical total climbs to 452,200. That is a huge swing, and it is exactly why we separate the VIP task from the core calculation.

These numbers give us something interesting to chew on. Remember that Nebula’s base Singularity Skin costs 90,000 Event Coins, while the base Skin and Skin+ together require 390,000. On paper, Defiant Edge alone can cover that full 390,000 total, but only when you include the complete Generous Soul VIP task. Without it, Part One falls short of the Skin+, which is a crucial detail for planning your spend. Keep in mind, though, that this is still only the first of three subevents.

What Comes Next in Balance of Power

So do not rush your decisions just yet. We now have Defiant Edge fully mapped out, we know its rewards, and we know precisely how many Event Coins this first part can supply. In Part Two, we will calculate Unbroken Bond and see what it adds to the pool. Then, in Part Three, Gear & Glory will complete the picture, and we will return to the Event Shop with all three totals in front of us. That is the moment when you can properly evaluate the entire event and decide where the value truly lies for your account.

That wraps up Part One of our Defiant Edge Complete Guide. Good luck with Defiant Edge, Guardians, and as always, choose the tasks and resources that make sense for your own roster. Stay tuned, stay sharp, and we will see you in Part Two.
