Defiant Edge Explained in Hero Wars Alliance

Defiant Edge Explained

Welcome back, Guardians. The second week of the Summer Glory Season has officially begun, and this Defiant Edge Explained guide breaks down everything the week’s opening event brings to Hero Wars Alliance. Alongside Defiant Edge, we’re also getting Unbroken Bond and Gear and Glory, giving us a packed schedule to work through.

Each of these seasonal events hands out a large mix of tasks, and every one of them rewards Sigil Coins, Season Pass progress, and a variety of extra resources. Rather than cramming everything into a single look, we’re taking it one event at a time. Today’s focus is Defiant Edge, and over the next couple of days we’ll cover the rest before calculating how many Sigil Coins you can realistically earn and spend inside the Balance of Power Shop.

Defiant Edge Explained: The Full Task List

Defiant Edge is built around eight separate tasks, and this Defiant Edge Explained rundown covers each one. Some are wonderfully simple, while others demand real planning depending on where your account currently sits. Here’s a quick overview before we dig into the details:

Task What You Need To Do
Daily Login Log in each day across all seven days
Generous Soul Spend money in the game
Energy of Evolution Spend 6,500 Titan Potions per day
On a Titanic Scale Spend 50,000 Titan Potions per day
Price of Power Spend 20,000 Hero Skin Stones
Summoning Titans Use Titan Spheres to summon Titans
Successful Fighter Complete 25 Arena Battles
Payback Time Defeat 15 Realm Bosses per day

Breaking Down Every Defiant Edge Task

Daily Login — The Easy One

The very first task is the simplest of the bunch: log into the game each day throughout the event. As long as you remember to sign in on all seven days, you’ll collect Sigil Coins together with several Mixed Artifact Chests. Free rewards just for staying active — no complaints here.

Generous Soul

Next up is Generous Soul, which rewards players who choose to spend money in the game. This time around, the payouts include Sigil Coins, Season Pass Points, Adventure Coins, and Soul Stones for both Alecto and Orm. As always, we’re never going to tell you how to spend your money — investing or staying fully free-to-play is entirely your call. Every account is different, so our job is simply to lay out what’s on offer and let you decide whether it fits your style.

Energy of Evolution

Energy of Evolution is another familiar face making its return. Each day you’ll need to spend 6,500 Titan Potions, and in exchange you’ll pick up a hefty spread of materials: Sigil Coins, Season Pass Points, Alecto Soul Stones, Titan Skin Stones, Adventure Coins, Artifact Keys, Mixed Artifact Chests, Titan Potions, Mastery Crystals, and Elemental Spheres. It leans heavily on resources, yet the sheer range of useful materials across different progression systems makes it worthwhile.

On a Titanic Scale — The Big Change

On a Titanic Scale is where one important shift jumps out compared to last week. Previously, players only had to spend 30,000 Titan Potions each day. This week, that number has climbed all the way to 50,000 per day. Aiming to clear it every single day means burning through a total of 350,000 Titan Potions.

That doesn’t make the task impossible, but it certainly makes it far more demanding. Newer players still working through the Dungeon can find that amount tough to gather. Veterans face the opposite issue — many have already finished their Titan progression and lean on Horns bought from the Merchant using spare resources. Should this requirement keep returning week after week, those stored reserves will eventually run dry.

At that point, plenty of endgame players may end up heading back into the Dungeon — not for Dungeon progress, but simply to generate enough Soul Coins to trade for Merchant Coins, buy extra Titan Potions, convert them into Horns, and finally spend them for the event. It’s a curious loop, and definitely worth watching if these numbers keep creeping up. Completing the task rewards Sigil Coins, Season Pass Points, Alecto and Orm Soul Stones, Titan Skin Stones, Artifact Keys, Fairy Dust, Elemental Spheres, Adventure Coins, and Red Gear Fragments.

Price of Power

Price of Power asks you to spend Hero Skin Stones — 20,000 of them — and rewards a long list in return: Sigil Coins, Orm Soul Stones, Fairy Dust, more Hero Skin Stones, Artifact Keys, Mixed Artifact Chests, Season Pass Points, Metacubes, Mastery Crystals, Elemental Spheres, and once again Red Gear Fragments.

This one plays out very differently depending on your account stage. For newer players, 20,000 Hero Skin Stones is no small investment. Hero Skins rank among the biggest long-term power boosts in the game, so before dropping that much, make sure you’re still pouring resources into the heroes that matter most. Remember, Hero Wars: Alliance is a marathon rather than a sprint — always upgrade with a long-term plan instead of chasing every single event.

The bigger headache actually lands on endgame players. Once every Hero Skin is maxed, there’s simply nowhere left to spend Hero Skin Stones. Unlike other resources, no alternative shop or conversion system exists to clear this task afterward. We don’t yet know whether it’ll become a recurring fixture, so it’s early to draw firm conclusions — but for anyone with fully maxed skins, this objective is one of the few that’s completely locked behind account progression.

Summoning Titans

Summoning Titans keeps things direct: use Titan Spheres to summon Titans and collect Sigil Coins, Mastery Crystals, Season Pass Points, Adventure Coins, and Red Gear Fragments. Even so, this is another task growing more demanding over time. A few months back, our presenter had roughly 9,000 Titan Spheres saved up — today that number sits at zero. Between Guild Versus and these recurring seasonal events, spending Spheres every single week has become tough to sustain.

Our advice stays the same: whenever you can, spend your Titan Spheres only when multiple events overlap, letting you progress in two at once. That approach squeezes the best overall value out of your resources — though how you manage your account is, of course, entirely up to you.

Successful Fighter

Successful Fighter is a welcome breather. All you need to do is complete 25 Arena Battles across the event. With five free Arena attempts handed out daily, almost every active player will clear this without thinking twice. Your rewards include Sigil Coins, Adventure Coins, Season Pass Points, Adventure Energy, and Titan Skin Stones.

Payback Time

Finally, we reach Payback Time. This week you’ll need to defeat 15 Realm Bosses every day, up from the 10 required during last week’s event. Clearing it hands over Realm Resources, Sigil Coins, Titan Skin Stones, Adventure Coins, and additional Season Pass Points.

Defiant Edge Explained: Final Thoughts

So there you have it — all eight tasks packed into this week’s Defiant Edge event. There are plenty of resources up for grabs, yet several requirements have clearly grown more demanding than the week before, from the jump to 50,000 Titan Potions to the extra Realm Bosses in Payback Time. Whether that trend continues throughout the Season is something we’ll keep monitoring as events roll out.

Tomorrow we’ll move on to Unbroken Bond, followed by Gear and Glory, before pulling everything together to work out exactly how many Sigil Coins you can realistically bank this week. Only then will we know how much can go toward the Balance of Power Shop without forcing unnecessary sacrifices elsewhere. Stay sharp, Guardians.
