Elemental and Primal Skills Switch Guide 2026

Totem Fusion is one of the newer additions to the Hero Wars Dominion Era Totem system, giving Totems powerful new skills that weren’t possible before. There are two categories of fusion skills — Elemental Skills, unlocked using Elemental Catalysts, and Primal Skills, unlocked using Primal Catalysts. A lot of players get confused about how to switch between them inside the fusion interface. It’s actually very simple — here’s how to do the Elemental and Primal Skills switch.

How to Switch Between Elemental and Primal Skills in Totem Fusion

Step 1: Go to Elemental Spirits in Titan Valley

From Titan Valley, tap on Elemental Spirits. You’ll find it on the right side of the map — look for the large cluster of Totems with the Elemental Spirits label.

Step 2: Select Your Totem and Open Fusion

You’ll land on the Totem overview page where all your Totems are displayed. Choose whichever Totem you want to apply fusion skills to — in this example we’re using the Dark Totem. Once selected, look at the bottom right of the screen. You’ll see a reddish box labelled Affinity Skills with a Fusion button. Tap it to enter the fusion interface.

Step 3: Switch Between Elemental and Primal

Inside the fusion screen you’ll see two clearly separated sections — Elemental Skills on the left and Primal Skills on the right. Simply tap whichever side you want to work with. That’s all there is to it — no hidden menus, no complicated steps.

Whether you’re stacking Elemental Skills for aggressive burst damage or loading up on Primal Skills for powerful passive synergies, the choice is yours — and now you know exactly how to make it. Experiment with different combinations across your Totems and find what works best for your titan lineup.
