Elemental Tempest F2P Guide | Hero Wars Alliance
This Elemental Tempest F2P guide walks you through every task in the second-to-last event of the Fields of Tomorrow season in Hero Wars Alliance. Rather than chasing full completion, we set a realistic free-to-play target that still delivers strong value without draining your account.
Yesterday we broke down Titans Roar, and tomorrow we’ll wrap everything up with United by Power, including our event shop recommendations. For now, though, the focus is squarely on Elemental Tempest.
Of course, you can push further and collect extra resources or Shop Coins if you want to. That choice is entirely yours. Our goal here, however, is a sensible baseline that rewards you well while keeping your resources working for your long-term development.
Elemental Tempest Tasks and F2P Targets
Elemental Tempest has eight event tasks. In addition, there are extra Elemental Tempest rewards inside the United by Power tab, based on the total number of tasks you accumulate. We’ll cover that tab properly in the next guide; meanwhile, aiming for around 55 completed tasks here is both achievable and worthwhile.
With that overview in mind, let’s go through each task, starting with the easiest ones.
Easy Wins: Log In, Generous Soul and Wise Exchange
Log In
Simply enter the game on each of the four event days and collect your rewards. It honestly doesn’t get easier than that.
Generous Soul
This task asks you to earn VIP Points. Since we’re approaching the event from a free-to-play perspective, our calculations assume zero VIP Points, so we’ve excluded it from the target entirely.
That said, any VIP Points you do earn during the event simply count as bonus progress.
Wise Exchange
Wise Exchange requires spending Emeralds. For a free-to-play account, we only expect to reach the 500 Emerald milestone.
There are no major sales giving us a compelling reason to splurge, so there’s little point forcing extra progress just because the task exists. If you’re already spending Emeralds on something your account genuinely needs, that’s a different story. For our baseline, however, 500 is enough.
Resource Tasks: Titanite, Elemental Spheres and Artifact Coins
Titanic Contribution
This should be one of the easiest tasks in the event. You need to collect 800 Titanite across the four days, which most active players will reach naturally. As a result, we expect to max it out.
Awakening: Hold Your Elemental Spheres
Awakening requires opening Elemental Spheres. Although the full task goes all the way up to 500, you don’t need anywhere near that number to collect the value we’re targeting. For our calculations, we’re going with 220 Elemental Spheres.
Here’s the crucial part, though: do not start opening your Spheres right away. There’s an Elemental Sphere opening overlap on Day Five of Guild Versus, so hold onto them until it arrives.
That way, the same Spheres count toward multiple objectives instead of being spent early for a single reward. Our F2P calculation therefore assumes all 220 Elemental Spheres are opened during that overlap.
Empowering Artifacts
This task asks you to spend up to 60,000 Artifact Coins. Unlike some of the heavier requirements we’ve seen in recent events, this one is realistic for many players, so our target is full completion.
Still, don’t spend resources randomly just because an event asks you to. If you’re currently developing a specific hero, put those Artifact Coins toward something that actually supports that hero.
On the other hand, if you’re not working on a particular hero or artifact right now, one option we like is buying the generic Artifact Rings. They work across heroes, and because there are only three types, there’s a good chance you’ll eventually need what you stockpile. In other words, you complete the event while still investing in future development.
Arena Tasks: Trial of Strength and Cycle of Success
Trial of Strength
Trial of Strength is the Arena task, and the full version asks for up to 60 Arena attacks during the event.
Interestingly, improving your Arena position can return Emeralds through your daily ranking rewards. You’ll need to spend some Emeralds to go beyond your free attacks, but depending on where you land, some or all of that cost can come back. For example, reaching Champions 2 provides 1,000 Emeralds per day, while Champions 1 provides 300 Emeralds per day.
Even so, we don’t recommend blindly pushing to 60. A core principle of this Elemental Tempest F2P guide is value over maximum completion, so our target is 45 Arena attacks across the four days. Ideally, spread them out over the event rather than forcing everything at once.
Cycle of Success
Cycle of Success requires Grand Arena attacks, with a maximum of 60 across the event. However, the four days only give you 20 free Grand Arena attacks.
This is where the value simply isn’t there for free-to-play players chasing the maximum. Instead, our target is around 25 attacks, just a small step beyond what you receive naturally. Going much further means spending more resources on rewards that, in our view, don’t justify the cost.
Elemental Tempest F2P Guide: The Complete Plan
Putting it all together, here’s how the plan shapes up:
- Generous Soul: not chasing VIP Points at all
- Wise Exchange: stop at roughly 500 Emeralds
- Titanic Contribution: complete the full 800 Titanite
- Awakening: open 220 Elemental Spheres, but only during the Guild Versus overlap
- Empowering Artifacts: complete the 60,000 Artifact Coin requirement
- Trial of Strength: around 45 Arena attacks
- Cycle of Success: stop at approximately 25 Grand Arena attacks
Altogether, that adds up to around 55 completed tasks.
Expected Rewards
Following this approach, our calculation gives you approximately the following from Elemental Tempest:
Remember, these figures deliberately reflect a realistic free-to-play approach. If you choose to push further, additional rewards are obviously available. Ultimately, though, we’re after value, not simply maximum completion.
What’s Next: United by Power
Tomorrow is where everything comes together. With Titans Roar and Elemental Tempest both covered, we’ll move into United by Power, combine the progression from these events and, most importantly, break down the event shop to show you where your Shop Coins deliver the most value.
Until then, don’t rush those Elemental Spheres. Keep the Guild Versus overlap in mind, think carefully about where you invest, and make this Elemental Tempest F2P guide work alongside your account development rather than against it.
Stay tuned, stay sharp, and as always — salute and friendship!
