Eva Relics Evolution Explained | Hero Wars Alliance

Eva Relics Evolution explained

If you have watched Eva take over a battle and wondered how she actually reaches that point, this Eva Relics Evolution explained guide walks you through every stage of her Legendary Relic progression in Hero Wars Alliance. Instead of only staring at the finished hero with everything unlocked and calling her stronger, we are going back to the very beginning and adding one Relic at a time, so you can see exactly what each upgrade contributes to the final monster.

Because when you study these upgrades individually, several of them already look extremely powerful. However, once you follow the entire journey from start to finish, something far more interesting emerges. Eva does not simply gain more damage along the way — she evolves. First one of her vulnerabilities gets addressed, then her most dangerous attack becomes significantly stronger, next her Energy generation improves, and finally Max-Health-based damage grows into an even larger part of her offensive potential.

Eva Before the Relics

Before any of these upgrades, Eva already carried something that immediately separated her from most traditional damage dealers: Impossible Shot. She aims for three seconds before firing at the nearest enemy, and alongside the skill’s Physical Damage, she deals additional Physical Damage equal to 25% of the target’s Maximum Health. That percentage matters enormously, because it means Eva’s threat was never built purely on stacking conventional offensive stats. Part of her identity already used the enemy’s own Maximum Health inside the damage calculation, so the bigger the Health pool, the larger that raw percentage-based component could become.

There is, however, another side to Impossible Shot. Eva has to aim, and three full seconds of preparation is a long time. Consequently, when one of your defining attacks demands that kind of wind-up, being interrupted becomes a real problem worth planning around. That is our starting Eva: dangerous, capable of producing enormous pressure, yet clearly held back by vulnerabilities that can interfere with her ability to deliver it.

Legendary Relic Level 1 — Antivirus

This is exactly why the first step of her progression is so telling. At Legendary Relic Level 1, Eva receives Antivirus. Every eight seconds she gains an effect that removes all control effects currently affecting her and prevents new control effects from landing for five seconds. Notice what the game chose to do first here. It did not increase Impossible Shot, add the Energy mechanic, or bolt on another Max-Health damage effect. Instead, the opening upgrade simply helps Eva operate.

Five seconds of control protection on an eight-second cycle creates a substantial window where shutting her down becomes much harder. It is not permanent immunity, and those remaining gaps still matter, but compared with the Eva we started with we have already changed one important part of the equation. Previously we had the weapon; now we are beginning to protect the hero who actually needs to fire it. And remember, that is only Level 1.

Level 10 — Impossible Shot Doubles

When we move up to Legendary Relic Level 10, protection turns into pure destruction. Impossible Shot receives its Legendary upgrade, and that 25% of the target’s Maximum Health becomes 50%. In other words, the Max-Health component of Eva’s defining shot has just doubled. This is precisely where following the progression pays off. At Level 1 we were helping Eva resist whatever might interrupt her execution, whereas at Level 10 we are dramatically increasing the reward the moment that execution lands.

To stay precise, this is Physical Damage. We are not claiming Eva strips 50% of somebody’s remaining Health bar regardless of defensive interactions. Even so, as a raw damage component, half of a target’s Maximum Health is a genuinely frightening number. Viewed as a sequence rather than an isolated Relic, the logic is clean: first make Eva harder to interrupt, then double one of the scariest parts of the attack you just worked to protect.

Eva Relics Evolution explained — before and after Legendary Relic upgrade comparison in Hero Wars Alliance

Level 20 — Piercing Shot Feeds the Engine

At Legendary Relic Level 20, Piercing Shot receives its upgrade, and this time the Relic targets a completely different part of the machine: Energy. Eva restores 30 Energy for every enemy hit by Piercing Shot. Against one enemy that is 30, against two it climbs to 60, and against three it reaches 90. Push further and four targets return 120, while a clean sweep through all five enemy heroes hands Eva a potential 150 Energy in a single cast.

Here the progression becomes far more interesting than “Eva gets more damage,” because now we are building a loop. Level 1 keeps her operational, Level 10 gives Impossible Shot much greater damage potential, and Level 20 lets Eva generate additional Energy whenever Piercing Shot connects with multiple targets. More Energy means more cycling, and more cycling means more opportunities to reach the abilities that make her so dangerous. As a result, we are no longer simply inflating one number — we are improving the engine around that number.

Level 30 — Explosive Payload

Finally we reach Level 30, where the story shifts one more time with Explosive Payload. Whenever Eva deals qualifying damage to a target, that damage gains additional Physical Damage equal to 10% of the target’s Maximum Health, while Damage over Time and shared damage are excluded. At Level 10, Max-Health damage was mostly about making Impossible Shot terrifying. At Level 30, by contrast, we broaden the importance of Max-Health-based damage across all of Eva’s qualifying hits.

That change is subtle but huge. We are no longer waiting only for one spectacular shot, since her entire offensive package now leans on the enemy’s Health pool. Consequently, the damage happening between her big moments becomes threatening in its own right, and high-Health targets have nowhere comfortable to hide.

Eva Relics Evolution Explained — Before vs After

With the whole path in view, the Eva Relics Evolution explained side by side finally makes sense: we can place the starting hero next to the Level 30 version and see the full picture at a glance. The table below lays out the entire journey so you can track exactly what each stage adds.

Stage Relic / Skill What Changes
Before Relics Impossible Shot (base) 3-second aim; +25% of target’s Max Health as Physical Damage
Level 1 Antivirus Removes control and blocks new control for 5s, every 8s
Level 10 Impossible Shot upgrade Max-Health component jumps from 25% to 50%
Level 20 Piercing Shot upgrade +30 Energy per enemy hit — up to 150 across five targets
Level 30 Explosive Payload +10% of target’s Max Health on qualifying damage (DoT and shared damage excluded)

Seen together, this is why I would never describe the finished hero as merely “Eva with more damage.” That framing badly undersells what happened. The progression deliberately attacks different pieces of the same system in order — protection, then burst, then Energy, then broad offensive pressure — and each Relic makes the next one more meaningful. Antivirus buys her windows to operate, a stronger Impossible Shot makes those windows more valuable, extra Energy manufactures more of them, and Explosive Payload sharpens everything happening in between. That is an evolution, not a stat bump.

What This Means for Building Around Eva

This transformation also changes the questions worth asking at team-building time. If Eva already owns this much offensive potential, do you really need to surround her with nothing but more damage? Alternatively, could you extract more value by helping her execute cleanly? Maybe another support amplifies what she is already doing, or accelerates her, or covers the small gaps where Antivirus is on cooldown. Ideally you create enough disruption around her that the opponent struggles to deal with Eva before she lines up her next shot.

Those are much richer questions, and they are exactly why we have been testing her alongside heroes such as Nebula inside several different structures. Ultimately Eva does not exist alone. A Relic can make one hero dramatically stronger, yet Hero Wars is still five heroes clashing with another five, so theory eventually has to meet the battlefield — which is precisely where we are heading next. With the Eva Relics Evolution explained from beginning to end, one thing is already obvious: the Relics are not four unrelated bonuses, they are progressively building the same machine. Before Relics we had Eva; at Level 30 we have the version those original mechanics were always capable of becoming, and now it is time to put that version into battle.
