Event Details
The Cosmic Battle event in Hero Wars is a dynamic cross-server PvP competition — and now it’s expanding. In addition to the original Hero-based format, Nexters has officially announced the Cosmic Battle Titan Edition, bringing the same high-stakes competitive structure to your Titan roster. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about both versions of this event.
How Cosmic Battle Works (Hero Version)
The standard Cosmic Battle is a cross-server PvP competition where players compete using their current hero power. Before the battles begin, a 24-hour Ban Phase takes place, allowing players to vote on heroes to be excluded from the upcoming rounds.
During the Ban Phase, players select one hero from each of the seven role branches — Tank, Warrior, Marksman, Mage, Support, Healer, and Control — to be banned. The heroes with the highest votes are removed for the entire duration of Cosmic Battle: three Mages, two Tanks, and one hero from each of the remaining roles, totaling ten banned heroes.
Once the Ban Phase ends, the three-day Cosmic Battle commences. Winning battles earns Cosmic Battle Coins, which can be spent in the event shop for valuable resources. Win streaks and successful defenses grant bonus coins, so consistency matters as much as raw power.
Cosmic Battle Titan Edition — What We Know
The Cosmic Battle Titan Edition applies the same competitive format to Titans. This is a brand new layer of cross-server PvP for Dominion Era players, putting your Titan investments to the test on the competitive stage.
Nexters has confirmed the Titan Edition is coming — the event is scheduled for [TITAN EDITION DATE]. Full gameplay details, ban rules, and shop rewards have not yet been published. We’ll update this page as soon as more information is available.
In the meantime, it’s worth reviewing your Titan roster and identifying your strongest builds. The ban mechanic will likely shake up which Titans see play, just as it does for heroes — so flexibility across multiple Titan types will be a big advantage.
Tips for Both Versions
- Watch the ban results closely. Before jumping into battles, check which heroes or Titans were banned. This shifts the meta fast.
- Build for depth, not just one team. With key units banned, backup compositions win events.
- Don’t ignore win streaks. The bonus coins from consecutive wins add up significantly over three days.
- Prioritize shop items early. Top rewards tend to sell out or require more coins than casuals can accumulate late.
Strategic planning is essential in Cosmic Battle — and now more so with two formats running. Whether you’re battling with heroes or Titans, adaptability and preparation will separate the top ranks from the rest.
