Tanks Physical/Magic
A Tank is the type of Hero Wars hero that acts as the unbreakable shield for your entire team. Positioned at the very front of the formation, their primary job is to absorb massive amounts of incoming damage, protect the squishy backline, and disrupt the enemy frontline. While their damage output is usually low, this Hero Wars hero survives using high health pools, heavy armor, and dodging capabilities.

Warriors Physical/Pure
When you need a Hero Wars hero who thrives in close-quarters combat, Warriors are your best choice. Positioned in the front or midline, they act as secondary off-tanks while dishing out brutal, sustained physical or pure damage. A skilled Warrior Hero Wars hero is excellent at shredding through enemy tanks or diving straight into the enemy backline to eliminate threats.

Marksmen Physical DPS

Mages Magic Burst
A Mage is a Hero Wars hero that masters the arcane, specializing in devastating magical attacks. They usually sit securely in the backline and focus on massive AoE (Area of Effect) burst damage, magic penetration, and elemental combos. Because their magic attacks bypass standard physical armor, a Mage is a deadly Hero Wars hero to deploy against heavily armored physical teams.

Control Crowd Control
A Control-focused Hero Wars hero doesn’t rely purely on raw damage to win; instead, they dictate the flow of the battlefield. They specialize in Crowd Control (CC), allowing them to stun enemies, silence magic users, steal energy, or force enemies to attack their own team. A well-timed ultimate from a Control Hero Wars hero can easily turn a guaranteed loss into a victory.

Support Buffs/Utility
Adding a Support Hero Wars hero to your lineup is the key to building a highly synergistic team. Without a dedicated Support Hero Wars hero, your primary damage dealers will never reach their full potential.

Healers Restoration
Every team needs a restorative Hero Wars hero to keep the squad alive through grueling, prolonged fights. Sitting safely in the backline, this type of Hero Wars hero uses their magic to restore health, cleanse negative debuffs, and occasionally provide complete invulnerability. In vital game modes like the Grand Arena or Campaign, Healers are absolutely mandatory for survival.

Pets Companions
While a Pet isn’t exactly a Hero Wars hero, they are crucial companions that join your team in battle. You can bring one active Pet to use its ultimate ability during the fight, while other pets can “Patronize” a specific Hero Wars hero. Patronage gives your heroes massive passive stat boosts and unique secondary skills, such as blinding enemies or absorbing lethal damage.
