Hero Wars Tier List 2026
Introduction
The Hero Wars tier list for 2025 is completely different from anything we’ve had before. This year introduced several new heroes that didn’t just expand the roster — they changed the pace of battle, the strength of older heroes, and the entire strategy behind team building. Because of these shifts, the tier list now requires a more detailed and modern structure.
In previous years, I focused mainly on how often I used each hero. I labeled them as heroes I use all the time, heroes I rarely use, and heroes I never use. But in 2025, the game has grown too much for that system to be enough. The meta is more dynamic, the mechanics more complex, and players need clearer guidance when deciding where to invest their resources.
For that reason, this year I am using a hybrid tier list. Every hero receives two evaluations: one based on my real usage and one based on the classic tier ranking. Since I have almost every hero maxed and I test them constantly in different teams and battles, the usage tags show exactly how practical a hero feels in everyday gameplay. The tier ranking — S+, S, A, B, C, or D — shows how strong each hero is in the current meta, independent of my personal habits.
By combining both systems, this year’s hero wars tier list becomes far more accurate and useful. It reflects real gameplay experience while also highlighting the overall strength and value of every hero in today’s meta.
Hero Wars – Special Tier S+
The S+ tier represents the strongest and most influential heroes in the current Hero Wars meta. These heroes don’t just perform well — they reshape how teams are built and how battles are approached. Here is why each of them stands in the highest possible category.
Hero Wars – Special Tier S+
Sebastian is widely recognized as the strongest hero in the game, even by the developers themselves. His ability to block all negative effects while boosting physical damage output is unmatched. Very few heroes define a meta, and Sebastian is one of them.
Nebula is special because she fits into every team. It doesn’t matter if the hero deals magic, physical, or pure damage — she boosts all of them. She even amplifies healing. Her flexibility alone makes her one of the most valuable heroes in Hero Wars.
Isaac is the nightmare of every magic hero. He counters half of the roster by himself, and because magic teams are so popular, his impact is always massive. His presence alone forces players to rethink their entire strategy.
Augustus earned his place for a different reason. His unique mechanic converts magic damage into pure damage, which completely changes how magic heroes function. This is not a small effect — it influences every magic attacker in the game and has a huge, long-lasting impact on the meta.
Lyria brings a completely new mechanic to the game — she counters dodge. For years, dodge-heavy teams shut down physical attackers. Now, with Lyria, all physical heroes can ignore dodge and deal consistent damage. This single change increases the value of dozens of heroes.
Cascade transforms all magic heroes’ basic attacks into damaging strikes. This doesn’t just improve one hero — it improves half of the magic roster at once. Even healers begin contributing meaningful damage. It’s a game-altering effect similar to Augustus, placing her firmly in the top tier.

Hero Wars Tier List – Magic Branch Role
Hero Wars Tier List – Mage Branch
The first role I’m starting with is the Mage branch. This group contains some of the most impactful damage dealers and magic-support heroes in the entire game. Their performance varies across different matchups, and in this section, I will share how often I personally use each of them based on real battles.
Krista — S Tier
I use oftenI use Krista very often, especially after her rework. She became a genuinely strong hero with reliable damage output and great synergy options.
Heidi — A Tier
I use rarelyHeidi is still a powerful attacker, but with the new heroes entering the meta, I find myself using him less. He is no longer my first choice in many battles, so I rarely use him now.
Orion — S Tier
I use oftenI use Orion very often. His damage is extremely high, and his artifact gives magic penetration to the whole team. This makes him not only a strong attacker but also one of the best magic supporters in the game.
Iris — A Tier
I use rarelyIris is still good in today’s meta, but I personally don’t use her as much anymore. There are simply better options for the same role. I use her rarely.
Helios — B Tier
I use oftenHelios remains a strong hero, but his value is mostly limited to countering critical-hit attackers. I use him often when the matchup demands it, but outside of that, he is very situational.
Folio — B Tier
I use oftenFolio has a powerful burst attack, and I enjoy using him. His damage is satisfying and impactful, so I use him often.
Judge — C Tier
I use rarelyEven after his rework, Judge still hasn’t found his place in the meta. I really like this character, and I do use him sometimes, but he simply needs one more rework to become relevant.
Lars — S Tier
I use oftenI use Lars much more often now. After the Krista rework and with Cascade in the game, Lars has become a much stronger and more reliable option.
Mojo — D Tier
I don’t useHis rework didn’t make him more usable. He has some niche team combinations in Asgard boss fights, but overall, Mojo is still not good enough. I don’t use him at all.
Peppy — D Tier
I don’t useI love Peppy. She is fun to use, and her abilities are interesting, but fun is not enough to compete in today’s meta. I don’t consider her a serious option.
Celeste — C Tier
I don’t useI don’t use Celeste. Her skills are still good, and she can be useful in certain matchups, but she simply cannot compete with what top-tier supports bring today.
Satori — C Tier
I use rarelySatori is a niche hero with high damage potential, but Sebastian counters him completely. And since Sebastian appears everywhere in defenses, Satori’s practical usage drops a lot. I use him rarely.
Kai — D Tier
I don’t useI don’t use Kai. He pairs well with K’arkh, but beyond that synergy, there isn’t much usage today. There are simply better alternatives.
Faceless — C Tier
I use oftenFaceless is outdated, and he needs a rework. However, I still use him very often for control purposes. When paired with Arachne, he can be a very good control tool.
Lilith — D Tier
I don’t useI don’t use Lilith and I don’t see many opportunities to use her in the current meta. In one of my videos, Deda YouTuber mentioned that Lilith performs well in a specific Asgard team, so there is some potential. But for my playstyle and for most players, I would still prefer a rework for this hero.

Hero Wars Tier List – Tank Branch
Now let’s move into the Tank role branch. Tanks shape the entire flow of battle, and in 2025 their value changed a lot with new counters like Lyria and Cascade. Some tanks became more relevant, while others lost their place in the meta. Here is how I rank them based on my usage and their overall performance.
Chabba — B Tier
I use rarelyI rarely use Chabba, but he has a fun synergy with Ishmael. When he eats the frontline and clears the way, Ishmael can reach the enemy core much faster. It’s a very specific situation, but in that role Chabba performs well.
Aurora — B Tier
I use oftenAurora used to be my favorite tank, but after Lyria arrived, her value dropped. Dodge was her main strength, and Lyria’s anti-dodge mechanic reduces her effectiveness in almost every mode.
Galahad — S Tier
I use oftenSince Lyria’s debut, Galahad became extremely popular. He cannot be countered by dodge reduction, and his consistent damage plus strong frontline makes him one of the best tanks today.
Julius — A Tier
I use oftenJulius remains a reliable tank thanks to his shields, control, and survivability. Even in the modern fast-paced meta, he performs consistently well.
Corvus — A Tier
I use oftenCorvus had a surge of relevance with Lyria thanks to his altars punishing melee attackers. While Galahad became the more stable option, Corvus still works extremely well with Keira teams.
Cleaver — C Tier
I use rarelyCleaver still brings hooks and disruption, but the meta became too fast for him. He isn’t terrible, but he is outdated.
Ziri — D Tier
I don’t useZiri needs a complete rework. Her defensive cycle is too slow for today’s battle pace. I never use her.
Electra — S Tier
I use oftenElectra is one of the strongest tanks right now. She deals impressive damage for a tank while protecting her team extremely well.
Rufus — B Tier
I use rarelyRufus used to dominate anti-magic matchups, but Cascade changed that completely by enabling pure damage. He is still usable, but no longer top tier.
Luther — D Tier
I don’t useLuther simply doesn’t fit the 2025 meta. Without a rework, he struggles in almost every matchup.
Astaroth — A Tier
I use oftenAstaroth still offers tremendous utility with resurrection and shielding. He remains relevant but needs ascension skills to fully catch up.
Mushy and Shroom — C Tier
I don’t useMushy and Shroom are too slow for the modern meta. Top teams rely on fast pressure and early kills, and Mushy cannot keep up.

Hero Wars Tier List – Marksman Branch Role
Now let’s move into the Marksman role. Marksmen remain the main physical attackers, and their value shifted with the arrival of Lyria and Cascade.
Lara Croft — S Tier
I use oftenLara Croft is very strong, and her violet skill makes her unique. She can stack different artifact effects over time, which gives her flexibility and power in battle. She fits perfectly into the current meta.
Dante — A Tier
I don’t useWith Lyria in the game, Dante’s value dropped. Even though he is still popular, I don’t use him anymore because there are better options in competitive battles.
Keira — S Tier
I use oftenLyria boosted Keira more than any other marksman. Together they destroy most team setups. Keira’s damage becomes extremely dangerous, making her one of the top marksmen.
Jhu — A Tier
I use oftenJhu is a powerful hero that can break through backlines. His gameplay is effective and he remains a strong attacker.
Daredevil — B Tier
I don’t useI don’t use Daredevil personally, but she still performs better than most marksmen below her. Her early pressure and damage make her decent.
Artemis — C Tier
I use oftenI like using Artemis for fun. Her gameplay is satisfying, but she struggles in today’s fast meta, so she stays in C tier.
Fox — D Tier
I don’t useI never use Fox. Her energy gain is too slow, and she cannot keep up with the 2025 meta. She needs a rework.
Ginger — D Tier
I don’t useGinger is outdated. Her hit pattern and energy gain do not match the speed of current battles. She needs a rework.
Astrid and Lucas — D Tier
I don’t useAstrid and Lucas were my first developed hero, and I like their pet mechanic. But the meta evolved, and today they are far behind other marksmen.

Hero Wars Tier List – Healer Branch Role
Now let’s move into the Healer branch role. Healing is still important in 2025, but with the meta becoming faster, some healers kept their value while others dropped. Here is how I rank them based on my usage.
Aidan — S Tier
I use oftenAidan can support many different heroes and make them much tankier. His protection is very strong, and he fits many team setups. I use him often, especially now with Electra.
Martha — A Tier
I use rarelyI don’t use Martha as much as before, but she is still a good healer. Her totem and speed boost help in longer battles.
Thea — A Tier
I use oftenI use Thea especially in defensive team setups. Her healing is consistent, and she works well in many defenses.
Dorian — A Tier
I use rarelyDorian is still a very good healer, but with the meta changing, I use him less than before. Strong, but not my first choice anymore.
Jet — C Tier
I don’t useJet’s value dropped a lot after Cascade entered the game and made dealing with Rufus much easier. He now needs a rework.
Maya — B Tier
I don’t useMaya heals and deals damage, but both are too weak for today’s fast-paced meta. She struggles to keep teams alive.
Markus — D Tier
I don’t useI don’t use Markus for a long time now. His kit feels outdated, and he needs a rework.
Guus — S Tier
I use oftenGuus provides very strong healing and also deals great damage. He is one of the strongest healers in 2025.
Byrna — A Tier
I use rarelyI use her but her potential is not 100% with actual skins and heroes. maybe infuture we get a hero that will push Byrna to S Tier.

Hero Wars Tier List – Support Branch Role
Support heroes can boost damage, control the battlefield, or protect the team, but their value has shifted a lot with the new meta. Here is how I rank them based on my usage.
Amira — S Tier
I use oftenAmira is one of the most popular heroes in the game. Her damage output is very high, and many players know her more for her damage rather than her support abilities. She performs well in many setups, and I use her often.
Fluffy — S Tier
I use oftenFluffy is a top-tier support hero that fits into many strong team compositions. I use her often and highly recommend investing in her.
Cornelius — C Tier
I don’t useCornelius is useful mostly in Asgard, but outside of that his value is limited. I don’t use him.
Morrigan — B Tier
I use rarelyWith Lyria’s debut, I started using Morrigan more often, especially because she works well against certain physical teams. But Cascade dropped her value when used to counter Rufus, so I don’t use her for that purpose anymore.
Fafnir — B Tier
I don’t useI don’t use Fafnir, and I don’t see much value in his gameplay. His impact is low in today’s meta.
Alvanor — B Tier
I use rarelyAlvanor is still valuable when you need to counter physical basic attackers. He works especially well in Area of Conquest. I use him when I see heroes like Ishmael or Keira.
Andvari — D Tier
I don’t useI don’t use Andvari anymore. He needs a rework and updated ascension skills to become relevant again.

Hero Wars Tier List – Warrior Branch Role
Warriors are usually strong frontline or mid-line fighters with high physical damage, and some of them are still very relevant in the 2025 meta. Here’s how I rank them based on my usage and their overall performance.
Ishmael — S Tier
I use oftenI use Ishmael often. He is useful in many different battles and game modes, and his damage potential remains extremely high. He deserves S tier.
Ninja Turtles — C Tier
I don’t useI don’t like Ninja Turtles’ gameplay. They are useful mainly in the Maestro Asgard boss fight, but outside of that they don’t offer much. I don’t use them.
Tristan — A Tier
I use oftenTristan is part of many meta teams and works well in different combinations. He provides great value, and I use him often.
Qing Mao — B Tier
I use oftenLyria dropped Qing Mao’s value a lot. She is still a strong hero, but when she cannot dodge to gain energy, she becomes much slower. Even so, I use Qing Mao often.
Kayla — A Tier
I use oftenKayla is a strong hero who attacks the backline, similar to Jhu. She can break teams from behind and create chaos quickly. I use Kayla often.
K’arkh — B Tier
I don’t useI don’t use K’arkh anymore, even though he was one of the first heroes I developed in the game. He struggles in today’s meta, and I would like to see a rework to bring him back.
Yasmine — B Tier
I don’t useI don’t use Yasmine. She is a strong hero, but she cannot be used effectively in defense, and on offense there are simply better alternatives.
Elmir — D Tier
I don’t useI don’t use Elmir at all. He needs a rework because his skills are outdated and don’t fit today’s meta.

Hero Wars Tier List – Control Branch Role
Control heroes help disable enemies, manipulate energy, or interrupt attacks. Some of them remained strong in 2025, while others dropped in value. Here’s how I rank them based on my usage.
Lian — C Tier
I don’t useI don’t use Lian anymore. Her kit feels outdated, and I think it’s time for Lian to receive ascension skills or a rework to come back into the game.
Phobos — C Tier
I use rarelyI rarely use Phobos. I don’t see a big advantage in today’s meta. There are some interesting team setups with Phobos, but that alone is not enough to place him higher.
Arachne — S Tier
I use oftenArachne is the best control hero in the game for me. She can lock down the enemy team instantly, and I use her every time I see an opportunity to control the battlefield.
Jorgen — B Tier
I use oftenI use Jorgen even though his skills feel outdated. He is still valuable when the enemy doesn’t have Sebastian, but outside of that, his impact is limited.
Dark Star — D Tier
I don’t useDark Star needs a rework. I don’t use her at all in today’s meta.
Polaris — S Tier
I use oftenPolaris is a very strong hero. Her control and support abilities fit perfectly into many modern setups, especially now with Electra. I use her often.

Conclusion
This completes my 2025 tier list. As always, remember that Hero Wars is a dynamic game and the meta shifts every time new heroes or reworks arrive. The purpose of this tier list is not to tell you who you must play, but to give you a clear picture of how each hero performs in real battles, based on full testing, full development, and real usage. Some heroes will always shine because of their mechanics, others need more support, and some simply need a rework to find their place again. What truly matters is building teams with strong synergy and understanding why each hero belongs in their tier. I hope this tier list helps you plan your next upgrades and choose the right heroes for your teams.
