Hero Wars Asherona Event: Embers of the Past Overview
The Asherona Event Embers of the Past, which introduces the mighty fire Titan Asherona, also offers a new way of doing Titan events in Hero Wars. In fact, it merges a new adventure map, relic upgrade, and some currencies into a single progression-based, strategic experience.

- A dedicated adventure map consisting of seven chapters, exclusive bosses, and also challenge scaling that pushes heroes and titans.
- A mini-season format such as that of the Guus and Lyria events, in which reward for repeated play is rewarded by long-term progress indicators.
- A powerful Workshop system for upgrading Relics and also unlocking Star Ring buffs to optimize rewards and combat potential.
- New event currencies — Energy Crystals, Valor Coins, and also Sapphire Medallions — each linked to a special activity like battles, quests, and the Festival Gacha.
- An exclusive Festival Shop that employs Sapphire Medallions for exchanging Asherona materials, Titan relics, and also upgrade resources.
Unlike previous events, the Asherona Event Embers of the Past focuses both on hero and titan growth, calling for conscious energy management, relic optimization, and thoughtful usage of resources in order to maximize the potential of Asherona.
Hero Wars Asherona Event: Embers of the Past
The Hero Wars Asherona Event Embers of the Past in Hero Wars also introduces seven boss battles switching between Titan and Hero duels. Each chapter must be unlocked using special Buffs and Energy Crystals, and the rewards become more valuable the further you go. The battles reward main upgrade materials such as Essence of the Elements, Titan Skin Stones, Primal Catalysts, and even the elusive Absolute Elemental Spirit Summoning Sphere.
Following is a list of all chapters, their Buff and Energy Crystal price, and the total reward for each boss level. If you have already battled one of these battles and experienced different drops or amounts of buff, you can share your boss fight photo through the form below towards the end of this guide so we can keep the information fully up to date for the community.

Unlocking Asherona

To unlock Asherona during the event, players must collect 3,130 soul stones. In fact, these can be obtained from event progress, Valor Coins, and limited-time bundles that are rolled out for the event. For instance, Below is the amount of soul stones required for each star rank. Moreover, the final evolution requires planning and constant activity throughout the event.
Asherona Soul Stone Upgrade
To unlock and evolve Asherona during the event, players must collect a total of 3,130 Soul Stones. Each star rank requires a specific number of stones, as shown below. Progress accumulates through event rewards and bundles.
Valor Coins Needed for Asherona

Furthermore, purchasing Asherona to higher star levels costs a large amount of Valor Coins, which are acquired through event rewards and fight against bosses within the Embers of the Past event.
In fact, each level represents the strength of Asherona’s relic upgrades and determines how well his elemental and primal energy rank in battle.
Moreover, the greater the chapter and relic level, the higher coin investment to move forward.
For instance, the graph below indicates the estimated Valor Coins to increase Asherona’s stars at different levels with the average 10% grand prize drop rate assumed.
Remember that outcomes may differ — lucky draws will decrease the overall expenditure, whereas botched jackpots will do the opposite.

Asherona Ragni’s Eyes– Asherona Event Embers of the Past

Asherona’s exclusive first artifact also serves as his elemental weapon. While its stats are relatively minor compared to his overall Titan power, it remains one of the most valuable event-limited artifacts in the entire game.
It only appears during the Asherona event and can’t be obtained normally from the campaign or any regular chests.
It is only available to buy during the Embers of the Past event from the Festival Shop, Battle Pass, or Mystery Island. The players need to make sure to obtain it while it’s still available, as it may not return for a few months after the event finishes.
If not seen, it will stay locked up until its next rotation during a Titan event.

Asherona Artifact Seal of Nature – Asherona Event: Embers of the Past

The Seal of Nature is Asherona’s third artifact, which is also shared among Summoner-type Titans.
It increases Asherona’s base stats and plays a key role in maximizing his performance in both offense and defense.
This artifact can also be obtained through the Festival Shop, Battle Pass, or Mystery Island — but like Ragni’s Eyes, it is available only during the Asherona event Embers of the Past.
Further copies purchased from this incident are meant to be used by Asherona in the future, so it’s worthwhile even in addition to its present usefulness to Asherona.
If missed, it will be unavailable until another future return of this event.

Asherona Event Embers of the Past Relics
Three relics define the Asherona Event. In fact, each provides unique benefits and upgrade paths:
- Amulet of Battle: Boosts buffs during boss fights to strengthen your lineup.
- Tome of Greed: Grants extra Valor Coins whenever you spend energy. Also, it can be upgraded to level 15.
- Grail of Generosity: Reduces reward costs in the Altar of Fate, can also be upgraded to level 18.
Moreover, upgrading relics requires strategic resource allocation. For instance, Asherona Event doesn’t offer a single “optimal” route — players must balance between relic upgrades, boss fights, and energy management.
Tome of Greed — Energy & Valor Coin Bonus – Asherona Event Embers of the Past
Furthermore, Tome of Greed adds more Valor Coins for the event as you spend energy.
Each level also increases your bonus by +1,000 Valor Coins. Because upgrades cost energy, it’s best to push this relic before you start heavy energy spending during the Cascade Event / Under the Power of Water Event.
For instance, the table below lists the energy cost per level and the total Valor Coin bonus at that level.

Grail of Generosity Upgrade Costs -Asherona Event Embers of the Past
In the Asherona Event, the Grail of Generosity works exactly like in Cascade: in fact, it reduces the cost of rewards in the Altar of Fate. Each level you upgrade lowers the price, letting you stretch your Valor Coins further. Because upgrades consume energy, it’s key to know the energy required at each step and the discount you unlock.
Moreover, Use the table below to see the energy cost per level and the coin-cost reduction in the Altar of Fate. Plan your energy spend to decide how far to push the Grail during the event and avoid overpaying for rewards.
