Hero Wars Cosmic Battle Shop
The Hero Wars Cosmic Battle Shop is where smart players turn their Cosmic Battle Coins into real progression gains. With over 30 items available — ranging from cheap consumables to rare endgame artifacts — knowing exactly what to spend on can be the difference between fast growth and wasted coins. This complete guide covers every item in the Cosmic Battle Shop, the full price list in Cosmic Battle Coins, and honest buying advice for each one.
How the Hero Wars Cosmic Battle Shop Works
You earn Cosmic Battle Coins by participating in Cosmic Battles — the large-scale PvP and PvE event in Hero Wars Web (Dominion Era). Each day you get five battle attempts, plus one additional attempt per hour. The more you win and the longer your win streak, the more coins you earn. Players in the highest tier can earn an additional 25,000 Cosmic Battle Coins at the end of the event alone. Coins are spent in the Cosmic Battle Shop on a selection of permanent items ranging from everyday consumables all the way to rare, hard-to-obtain hero artifacts.
Best Buys — Quick Summary
Before diving into individual items, here is the short version: Absolute Artifact Chests are the top priority buy in this shop. After that, Great Enchantment Runes and Chaos Cores are solid picks. Everything else is situational or should generally be skipped. Read on for the full breakdown.
Community tip: Do not just chase the best coin-to-value ratio on paper. Think about which resource you are furthest behind on for the heroes you are actively building. If your glyphs are maxed but your skins are untouched, buying skin resources makes more sense than stacking more glyph materials. Know your account first, then shop accordingly.

Chests and Resources — Buying Guide
Cosmic Battle Chest
Cost: 600 coins | Verdict: Skip
The Cosmic Battle Chest is not a terrible item, but it is not a recommended buy when you compare it against the better options available here. Your coins are better spent elsewhere. For a closer look at what is inside, check out our Cosmic Battle Chest guide.
Chaos Core
Cost: 2,500 coins (x5) — 500 each | Verdict: Good Buy
Chaos Cores are a solid purchase, especially if you are actively trying to level up multiple heroes’ artifacts at the same time. They sit in the same recommended tier as Absolute Artifact Chests and Great Enchantment Runes. If your artifact leveling push is urgent right now, grab these — just know that Absolute Artifact Chests are still the top priority if you have to choose.
Great Enchantment Rune
Cost: 2,000 coins (x10) — 200 each | Verdict: Good Buy
Great Enchantment Runes are one of the reliable pickups in this shop. Available in other events too, but at 200 coins each they are consistently worth grabbing here alongside your Absolute Artifact Chests.
Absolute Artifact Chest
Cost: 1,600 coins (x5) — 320 each | Verdict: Best Buy in the Shop
Absolute Artifact Chests are the number one recommended purchase in the entire Hero Wars Cosmic Battle Shop. Unlike Great Enchantment Runes or Chaos Cores, Absolute Artifact Chests simply do not appear in most other major events — making this one of the only reliable places to stock up. The demand for artifact pieces never stops either. Even at level 118 a hero needs around 58 artifact pieces per level, climbing toward 70 at higher levels. You will always need more. If you only buy one thing in this shop, make it the Absolute Artifact Chests every time.
Chest of Random Insignia
Cost: 1,500 coins (x10) | Verdict: Skip
The problem with random insignia chests is right there in the name — they are random. While ascension materials are always in demand, you cannot choose what you get, meaning the contents could end up being nearly worthless for your current heroes. The unpredictability makes this a poor spend compared to the targeted purchases available in this same shop.
Chest of Random Crystals
Cost: 1,200 coins (x10) | Verdict: Skip
As a lower-rarity item, Chest of Random Crystals is not worth spending Cosmic Battle Coins on. Pass on this one and save your budget for the items that offer real, targeted progression value.
Skin Stone Chest
Cost: 900 coins | Verdict: Situational
Skin Stone Chests are not a bad buy — and you will need an enormous number of them over time since hero skins require a lot of stones to fully upgrade. That said, only prioritize this if skins are the resource you are currently furthest behind on. If other areas of your progression are more pressing, redirect your coins there first and come back to skin stones when they become the bottleneck.
Huge EXP Potion
Cost: 1,100 coins | Verdict: Do Not Buy
Do not spend your Cosmic Battle Coins on Huge EXP Potions. There are far better uses for your coins in this shop and EXP potions are obtainable through other means. Hard pass.
Wyvern’s Heart
Cost: 200 coins | Verdict: Skip
Despite the very low price, Wyvern’s Heart falls into the lower-rarity tier of items in this shop that are not worth spending on. Save your coins for what actually matters.
Hero Artifacts — Buying Guide
The artifact section is where your coin decisions get most impactful. Items here range from blanket skips to genuine must-haves depending on which heroes you are building. The golden rule: only buy an artifact if the hero that uses it is currently a priority on your account.
Sacred Rosary
Cost: 200 coins | Verdict: Skip
As a lower-rarity artifact, Sacred Rosary is not a recommended buy here. The cheap price might tempt you, but your Cosmic Battle Coins have better destinations in this shop.
Dark Grail
Cost: 400 coins | Verdict: Skip
Another lower-rarity artifact to pass on. Skip Dark Grail and keep your coins for the meaningful purchases further up the shop.
Lion Armor
Cost: 1,000 coins | Verdict: Skip
Lion Armor falls in the purple artifact tier, which is a blanket skip in this shop. Purple-tier artifacts are simply not worth your Cosmic Battle Coins regardless of which hero uses them.
Flaming Heart
Cost: 1,000 coins | Verdict: Skip
Same tier as Lion Armor — skip. Purple artifacts are a blanket pass in the Cosmic Battle Shop.
Traitor’s Crown
Cost: 2,000 coins | Verdict: Skip
Purple-tier artifact — pass. Save your coins for better options in this shop.
Talisman
Cost: 2,400 coins | Verdict: Skip
Despite being widely used across many hero builds, Talisman falls in the purple tier here and is not recommended as a Cosmic Battle Shop buy. Look for other opportunities to source this artifact.
Executioner’s Sword
Cost: 2,400 coins | Verdict: Skip
Purple tier — skip. Redirect these coins toward Absolute Artifact Chests, Great Enchantment Runes, or Chaos Cores instead.
Governor
Cost: 3,000 coins | Verdict: Skip
Governor is a purple-tier artifact — pass on this one in the Cosmic Battle Shop.
All-seer
Cost: 3,400 coins | Verdict: Skip
The most expensive of the purple-tier artifacts in the shop — and still not worth buying. Purple artifacts are a blanket skip here, no exceptions.
Alchemist’s Set
Cost: 4,000 coins | Verdict: Good Buy
Alchemist’s Set is a solid buy among the orange-tier artifacts in this shop. If you have decided you are going to spend coins on artifact items rather than chests and resources, this is one of the better choices at this price point. Worth picking up if it supports a hero you are actively building right now.
Book of Prophecies
Cost: 7,000 coins
Dragon’s Heart
Cost: 10,000 coins | Verdict: Situational
Dragon’s Heart is a red-tier artifact at 10,000 coins. The general recommendation is to pass on these red items unless you are seriously behind on upgrading a specific hero that needs it. If that hero is genuinely critical to your team right now and you need to catch up fast, it can justify the cost — but it should never be an impulse buy at this price.
Devourer of Mages
Cost: 10,000 coins | Verdict: Situational
You are going to need a lot of Devourer of Mages to fully upgrade the hero that uses it — so if that hero is a current priority, this is one of the red items worth considering. Skip it otherwise and put those coins toward something with a clearer immediate impact.
Andvari’s Fortitude Support
Cost: 10,000 coins | Verdict: Situational — Worth Considering for Andvari Players
Andvari’s Fortitude Support is one of the red-tier artifacts that is reasonable to buy if Andvari is in your active lineup. You will need many of these to fully upgrade him and this shop is a reliable source. Picking up one or two per event cycle is a sensible move for dedicated Andvari builders.
Evening Curfew
Cost: 10,000 coins | Verdict: Skip for Most Players
Evening Curfew is a red-tier artifact that many players already have stocked up on. Unless you are specifically short on this item for a hero you are actively pushing, this one can safely be passed over.
Aigrette of Nocturnal Cicadas
Cost: 10,000 coins | Verdict: Situational
Like the other red-tier artifacts, you will need a lot of Aigrette of Nocturnal Cicadas to move the needle for the hero that uses it. Only buy this if you are specifically investing in that hero right now — otherwise save your coins.
Asklepius’ Staff
Cost: 10,800 coins
[ADD YOUR THOUGHTS — not specifically covered in the video]
Blued Plate Armor
Cost: 10,800 coins
[ADD YOUR THOUGHTS — not specifically covered in the video]
Sphere of Power
Cost: 14,000 coins | Verdict: Okay
Sphere of Power is notoriously annoying to get outside of this shop, which makes it one of the more justifiable orange-tier artifact purchases here. If you are building a hero that relies on Sphere of Power and struggling to source it elsewhere, this is an acceptable buy despite the high price tag.
Alucard’s Amulet
Cost: 14,000 coins | Verdict: Okay
Alucard’s Amulet is one of the most frustrating artifacts to obtain in Hero Wars — it is super annoying to get outside the Cosmic Battle Shop. If Alucard is part of your main team and you are struggling to progress his artifact, this shop may genuinely be your best source. A defensible buy for committed Alucard builders.
Oracle’s Censer
Cost: 17,000 coins | Verdict: Avoid
Oracle’s Censer costs noticeably more than Sphere of Power and Alucard’s Amulet, making it harder to justify even for players who are building Oracle. At 17,000 coins the investment is steep — try to find other ways to source this one if you can.
Key to All Doors
Cost: 43,500 coins | Verdict: Skip — Buy the Components Elsewhere
Do not buy Key to All Doors from this shop. At 43,500 coins the price is steep, and there is a smarter approach available: buy the individual components — like Enigma’s Chronicles — from other events where they appear, then farm the remaining pieces. That strategy is almost always cheaper than spending 43,500 coins on the assembled item here. Save your coins for better purchases in the Cosmic Battle Shop.
Piercing Gaze
Cost: 58,000 coins | Verdict: Pass
Pass on Piercing Gaze. At 58,000 coins this is an extreme spend that falls into the top-tier items category — generally not worth buying unless it is absolutely critical for a hero you have already invested heavily in. For most players, the answer here is no.
Creator of Worlds
Cost: 66,000 coins | Verdict: Pass for Most Players
Creator of Worlds is the most expensive item in the entire Cosmic Battle Shop. It is not the absolute worst purchase if you genuinely need it and have no other way to source it — but for the vast majority of players this should be a hard pass. Focus your coins on items that move your current team forward and treat this as a very long-term savings goal, if at all.
