Hero Wars new event system 2026
The Hero Wars new event system goes live in Dominion on November 2, and it is the biggest shake-up to the event schedule in a long time. Instead of events running as separate, self-contained boxes, everything now feeds into one connected Season built around a single Hero or Titan. In other words, what you play in week one directly shapes how far you get in week three.
Below, we break down how the new 28-day cycle works, what replaces the Silver Season, how Adventure resources are now earned, and what the very first Season, starring the new hero Wodryn, looks like day by day.
What the Hero Wars New Event System Actually Changes
Until now, most events lived on their own. You joined, cleared the quests, grabbed the rewards and moved on. Under the new structure, those same events become stepping stones. Taking part in them earns progress toward the Season’s featured character, plus resources you will need later in the month.
Three big shifts sit at the core of it:
- A fixed 28-day rhythm. Every cycle has four weekly stages that always run in the same order.
- Development spread across the month. The featured character is no longer built inside one event; growth comes from several activities.
- Adventure resources earned in advance. A large share of Adventure Energy and Coins now drops from other events before the Adventure even opens.
The 28-Day Season Cycle at a Glance
Each cycle is centred on one character, and the focus alternates. November’s cycle (Nov 2–29) features a new Hero, while the following one, starting November 30, switches to a Titan. After that, Hero and Titan cycles keep trading places.
Because the order never changes, you can always predict what is coming next:
| Week | Main Focus | What It Does for You |
|---|---|---|
| Week 1 | Season opens + character pre-order | Meet the new Hero/Titan and start stockpiling Adventure resources |
| Week 2 | Major themed event (guild-focused) | More Adventure prep, plus the first bonus island on the seasonal map |
| Week 3 | Main Adventure | Absolute Star, final Rank, Artifacts and Ascension for the Season character |
| Week 4 | Ascension Adventure + Season finale | New Ascension Skills for an existing hero; last chance to spend resources |
Meanwhile, plenty of familiar events still run alongside each main activity. Their job now is to prepare you for whichever stage comes next.
Hero Season Replaces the Silver Season
This is the change that will affect daily play the most. The Silver Season is gone, and a new Hero Season takes its place. Climbing its Season Pass gradually raises the new hero’s Evolution and Rank, so even players who skip the pre-order can build the character over the month.
However, there is a catch worth highlighting. Hero Season Experience comes from scheduled events such as Tournaments of Power, Cosmic Battles, Area of Conquest and Seer’s Game. Regular battles on their own will not give Season Experience. Simply logging in and playing normally won’t be enough; you need to show up for the events.
On the bright side, the classic quest-based Seasons are staying, so that familiar progression is not being removed.
Pre-Order or Slow Build?
Pre-orders aren’t going anywhere. As a result, you now have two routes to the new hero: pay for the pre-order to recruit and power them up immediately, or develop them step by step through the Hero Season. Either way, the very top tiers (the Absolute Star and the final Rank) are locked behind the main Adventure in week three.
November Week by Week: Wodryn & Cosmic Season
The first Season under the new rules is the Wodryn & Cosmic Season, running from November 2 to November 29. Here is the official November calendar, followed by what each week brings.
Week 1 (Nov 2–8): Meet Wodryn
The Season kicks off alongside Wodryn’s pre-order. The main supporting events are the Hero Tournament of Power, Area of Conquest and the Hero Cosmic Battle. Crucially, these now drop Adventure Energy and Coins, so your preparation for week three starts on day one.

Week 2 (Nov 9–15): Mead Festival
Week two belongs to a large themed event with a guild focus. On the November calendar, that slot is the Mead Festival. Expect shared guild progress, joint rewards and both personal and guild rankings. The Titan Tournament of Power and Seer’s Game run beside it, and all of them keep feeding your Adventure stockpile.
Additionally, the first of three bonus islands appears on the seasonal map this week.

Week 3 (Nov 16–22): Wodryn’s Adventure
Now it’s time to cash in everything you’ve saved. Wodryn’s Adventure keeps the usual chapters and battles, but its focus shifts to the late-game milestones: the Absolute Star, the final Rank, Artifact upgrades and Ascension. Alongside it, you get the Hero Tournament of Power, Territory of Titans and the Titan Cosmic Battle.
Two extras stand out here. First, the Adventure Shop adds a bonus Hero Skin with doubled stats, giving Wodryn another source of power. Second, some of this week’s events begin handing out resources for the upcoming Ascension Adventure. The second bonus island also opens on the seasonal map.

Week 4 (Nov 23–29): K’arkh Ascension Adventure
The final week wraps up the Season. Instead of the Ascension Season format introduced earlier, November uses a four-chapter Ascension Adventure, this time for K’arkh. Progress comes from spending resources to develop your Heroes, Titans and other parts of your account.
The split is simple. Chapters 1 and 2 give materials for the first new Ascension Skill, while Chapters 3 and 4 cover the second one. Running beside it are the Titan Tournament of Power and Seer’s Game, and the third and final bonus island arrives on the seasonal map.

Both the Ascension Adventure and the Season close on November 29. The next day, the first Titan-focused cycle begins.

Changes to Familiar Events and Rewards
If a favourite event seems to be missing from the calendar, that is intentional. Alongside the new schedule, the reward lists for nearly every event have been reworked. Here is what stands out:
- Weekly Tournaments of Power. They now run every week, alternating Heroes and Titans. Competition lasts six days (Monday to Saturday), and final rankings plus rewards land on Sunday.
- New roles for old events. Area of Conquest, Cosmic Battle, Seer’s Game and themed festivals now double as sources of Adventure resources.
- Rewards on the move. Some items that used to come straight from Adventures have shifted to these events. Distribution has also changed for Dominion Gifts, Golden Threads, Catalysts and Elemental Spirit Summoning Spheres.
- Emerald sales on Fridays. The x4 and x5 Emerald sales are now locked to Fridays, which makes purchases far easier to plan around.
Adventure Resources No Longer Carry Over
Under the new system, Adventure resources belong to a single Season. Energy and Coins for the Hero Adventure are gathered during the first two weeks, and Ascension Adventure resources start appearing as the cycle nears its end.
Most importantly, nothing rolls into the next Season. Whatever you haven’t spent when the cycle ends gets converted under the standard exchange rules. So if you hoard Adventure Energy hoping to carry it into the Titan cycle, it won’t make the trip.
Our Take: Planning for the First Season
Overall, the predictability is the best part of this update. Knowing that the Adventure always lands in week three and the Ascension Adventure always closes the month makes long-term planning far easier, especially for F2P players who need to budget every resource.
That said, a few points deserve attention early on:
- Event attendance matters more than ever. Since regular battles give no Hero Season Experience, skipping a Tournament or Cosmic Battle now also slows your progress on Wodryn.
- Weeks 1–2 are your Adventure budget. The Energy and Coins you collect early decide how far you push the Absolute Star and final Rank in week three.
- Spend before November 29. Leftover Adventure resources get exchanged at the end of the cycle, so their real value is in using them inside the Season.
- Ascension Adventure is one to watch. We weren’t fans of Ascension Seasons for F2P accounts, so a four-chapter Adventure is a welcome change in format. Still, its rewards are tied to spending development resources, so how F2P-friendly it really is will become clear once K’arkh’s chapters go live.
Finally, keep in mind that the developers have said both the schedule and some details may still change as they watch how the system performs. We’ll keep this guide updated as the first Season plays out.
