Winterfest is getting closer, and Hero Wars officials have now released the first official confirmation update. This update doesn’t reveal quests or values yet, but it locks in the structure, dates, and guild rules that will define the entire event.
For Hero Wars players in the Dominion Era, this matters more than it looks at first glance. Winterfest isn’t just a festive event — it’s a long-running guild-focused event where preparation and stability play a major role.

According to the officials, Winterfest returns with the same core systems players already know. The event revolves around guild participation, gifting, and progression through the Winterfest Tree.
During the event, players collect Winterfest Baubles. These are used to decorate the guild’s Winterfest Tree. As the Tree levels up, it unlocks holiday currency that can be exchanged for gifts.

After the event ends, ranking calculations begin. Final rewards may take some time to appear, but players will still have access to the Tree to open remaining presents and review rankings.
To maintain fairness and prevent last-minute manipulation, the following restrictions will apply from December 21 until January 1, 2026 (02:00 UTC):
- Server transfers disabled ⚠️
- Leaving a guild blocked
- Kicking members disabled
- Inactive member removal disabled
- Guild disbanding disabled
Players without a guild can still join a guild during Winterfest, allowing participation without disruption to existing guild structures.
All restrictions will be lifted once rankings are finalized and rewards are distributed.
