Inner Demons Skin Analysis | Hero Wars Alliance
The Inner Demons Skin Analysis is one of those rare occasions where I look at a full skin batch and can’t find a single weak pick. Hero Wars Alliance just dropped Inner Demons skins for Kendle, Cleaver, Xe’Sha and Peech, and after connecting every stat to what these heroes actually do in battle, each one earns its place. That doesn’t mean you should immediately spend on all four, of course — but it does mean this is a genuinely strong group.
As always, we’re going to look at what each skin gives the hero, and then you decide based on your account, your teams and your resources. So let’s break them down one by one.
Kendle’s Crushing Skin
Kendle receives a Crushing skin worth 5,920 Crushing at maximum level. Now, plenty of Guardians still doubt Crushing, yet on the right hero it can be brutal — and Kendle is exactly that hero.
Remember what she does. She produces incredible bursts of damage, including triple critical Pure Damage, and she pushes enemy heroes under 50 percent Health extremely quickly. Once a target drops below that line, Kendle becomes even more lethal. That is precisely why Crushing fits her so well. You’re handing a hero who already forces enemies into the danger zone another tool to punish them as their Health falls.
So this isn’t just a decent addition. It complements the way she fights, it reinforces her damage pattern, and it makes an already dangerous hero even scarier once the enemy starts bleeding out. Definitely a skin I like.
Cleaver’s Health Skin
Cleaver gains another 106,645 Health at maximum level. On a tank, more Health needs no complicated explanation: better survivability, a longer time on the frontline, and more damage absorbed on behalf of the team.
However, Cleaver takes this further because of his second skill, Putrefaction. That skill deals Pure Damage to Cleaver himself and nearby enemies every half second for seven seconds, and the damage scales directly off his Health. Therefore you’re not simply making a tank harder to kill — you’re feeding a skill that actively rewards a bigger Health pool. Defensively and offensively, the same skin improves him at once.
That kind of stat-to-mechanic interaction is exactly what I want to see from a skin. Give me a stat that genuinely works with the hero’s kit, and for Cleaver, Health absolutely does that.
Xe’Sha’s Magic Penetration Skin
Xe’Sha is the easiest of the group to explain. She picks up 10,650 Magic Penetration, and honestly, what is there to argue with? As a damage dealer, we want her magic damage to hurt, and Magic Penetration lets her bypass more of the opponent’s Magic Defense.
The more penetration Xe’Sha carries, the harder it becomes for Magic Defense to shield the enemy from what she’s throwing at them. There’s no hidden mechanic we need to dig for to justify this one; it simply doubles down on a stat that directly supports her entire job. More penetration, more damage reaching the target — another extremely important skin.
Peech’s Critical Hit Chance Skin
Peech might actually be the most interesting of the four. She receives 2,960 Critical Hit Chance, and you already know I’m a critical lover. A single crit landing at the right moment can completely flip a battle — sometimes you can run the same fight twice, and one lucky critical changes everything.
With Peech, that matters even more because of Theater of Pain. She strikes the nearest enemy three times, each hit dealing physical area damage while pushing affected enemies back. We’ve already seen how dangerous that skill becomes, sometimes erasing part of the opposing team on its own. Now imagine adding more Critical Hit Chance to those strikes; under the right circumstances, she can potentially wipe teams in seconds.
There’s an extra layer here, though. Right now, Peech pulls her Critical Hit Chance from her second Talisman — and not every Guardian owns it. For anyone missing that second Talisman, this Inner Demons skin suddenly becomes a major source of the crit chance that makes her damage explode. On top of that, her Relics finally arrive on Monday, so Peech is about to gain another whole layer of development that we’ll want to test the moment it lands.
Inner Demons Skin Analysis: Which One Should You Build?
Overall, I’m impressed with this batch. For once, I don’t have a single skin here where I’m asking why they gave this stat to this hero. Here’s the quick reference before you decide:
| Hero | Stat | Amount (Max) | Why It Works |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kendle | Crushing | 5,920 | Punishes enemies she pushes below 50% Health |
| Cleaver | Health | 106,645 | Tankier frontline plus stronger Putrefaction damage |
| Xe’Sha | Magic Penetration | 10,650 | Bypasses more of the enemy’s Magic Defense |
| Peech | Critical Hit Chance | 2,960 | Explosive Theater of Pain, huge without her 2nd Talisman |
Still, a strong batch doesn’t mean you need to build everything. Your account always comes first. If Kendle is in your rotation, her Crushing skin is a very good investment for a hero built to punish low-Health targets. If Cleaver is one of your main tanks, that Health carries enormous value thanks to the Putrefaction interaction. If Xe’Sha is one of your primary damage dealers, Magic Penetration is extremely difficult to argue against.
And if you’re developing Peech — especially without her second Talisman — I’d pay very close attention to that Critical Hit Chance skin. With her Relics finally arriving on Monday, she’s a hero we are absolutely not finished talking about.
Now I want to hear from you. Which of these four Inner Demons skins do you think is the most important — Kendle’s Crushing, Cleaver’s Health, Xe’Sha’s Magic Penetration, or Peech’s Critical Hit Chance? Tell us which one you’re going for first and why.
