New Hero Eva First Impression 2026
This New Hero Eva First Impression breaks down everything we currently know about Hero Wars: Alliance’s newest Marksman — without pretending that a handful of numbers already settle her place in the meta. Whenever a fresh hero drops, the temptation is to glance at one flashy skill and instantly shout “broken” or “must-build.” Here at Olympus Alliance, however, that’s simply not how we operate. Before anyone can judge how strong Eva truly is, she needs to be in our hands across different teams, opponents, and situations, and only after a lot of testing. That said, we can finally take a proper first look, and there’s already plenty worth talking about.
Eva isn’t just another damage dealer. Instead, her kit points to a very clear identity: she can strike the frontline, reach deep into the backline, punish enormous Health pools, pressure several enemies at once, and — most importantly — make other Marksmen far more dangerous. Below, we’ll walk through who she is, what she needs, and exactly what those four skills bring to the table.
Who Is Eva? A Way of Progress Marksman
Eva enters Hero Wars: Alliance as a Marksman who belongs to the Way of Progress, relies on Agility as her main stat, and fights from the Back Line. Even her in-game description hints strongly at her role: she buffs allied Marksmen and destroys the toughest targets with powerful shots. Once we reach her skills, that description makes complete sense.
For reference, the version showcased here sits at Level 120, Rank 16, with a total Power of 137,189. Keep in mind, though, that these figures reflect one specific setup rather than a verdict on where Eva ultimately belongs.
If you’re already planning to develop her, it’s worth checking her gear across the different Ranks so you can spot which items you already own and which you’ll need to farm in advance. We won’t dissect every piece today — there’s no reason to — but preparing early never hurts, especially for a hero this many players are curious about.
New Hero Eva First Impression: Skills Breakdown
Eva’s four abilities are where things get genuinely interesting, because each one targets a different part of the battlefield rather than hammering a single spot.
Impossible Shot
Impossible Shot immediately signals the kind of target Eva wants to threaten. Rather than firing instantly, she aims for three seconds and then strikes the nearest enemy. In this setup, that opening hit deals 152,434 Physical Damage, scaling with her Physical Attack. More importantly, she also deals additional Physical Damage equal to 25% of the target’s Maximum Health.
Consider who usually stands closest to a Back Line Marksman — very often, the enemy tank, and tanks tend to carry massive Health pools. Consequently, Eva turns the very thing that makes those heroes hard to kill into extra damage against them. For example, against a target with 1,000,000 Maximum Health, that 25% translates to 250,000 additional Physical Damage before the usual battle calculations reduce it. Remember, too, that this sits on top of the initial shot rather than replacing it.
There is one detail we badly want to stress-test, though: those three seconds of aiming. In a fast Hero Wars: Alliance battle, three seconds is a long time, so control effects and hyper-aggressive comps could easily interrupt the shot before it lands. Naturally, Impossible Shot can also be upgraded to Legendary later — but that’s a conversation for the full guide.
Focusing Scope
Focusing Scope flips the script entirely. Instead of hitting the closest target, Eva attacks the farthest enemy for 46,270 Physical Damage, once again scaling with her Physical Attack. The real value, however, lies in the Marked effect she applies for nine seconds. While that Mark is active, the target additionally receives 50% of the damage that allied Marksmen deal to other heroes.
Picture the possibilities: your Marksmen can be busy pressuring the enemy frontline, yet a hero tucked all the way in the back still soaks up extra damage generated elsewhere. Taken together, her first two skills already cover both ends of the formation — Impossible Shot on the nearest enemy, Focusing Scope on the farthest. On top of that, this ability plants the seed for her signature mechanic, since Eva clearly cares about the Marksmen standing beside her and not only herself.
Piercing Shot
Piercing Shot is the most straightforward of the bunch. Eva aims and fires at every enemy in front of her, dealing 55,588 Physical Damage that also scales with her Physical Attack. Notably, there’s no Max-Health component, no Mark, and no shared-damage mechanic here — just clean pressure across the front row.
Combined with the previous two abilities, her coverage becomes obvious: the nearest enemy through Impossible Shot, the farthest through Focusing Scope, and everything in front via Piercing Shot. Like Impossible Shot, this skill can eventually be upgraded to Legendary as well.
Marksmen Unity
Marksmen Unity is the ability that truly grabbed our attention. As the name suggests, Eva increases the damage dealt by herself and every allied Marksman. Crucially, this isn’t a flat bonus — instead, it scales with the distance between the Marksman and the target, so the farther the shot, the bigger the boost. According to the information shown, that increase can reach up to 400% of the original damage.
Before anyone rushes to declare the game broken, though, remember our golden rule: this needs proper testing. Positioning suddenly becomes fascinating, because Eva sits on the Back Line while the buff reaches all allied Marksmen. As a result, where each Marksman stands, where their target stands, and the exact distance between them all start to matter a great deal.
Now layer Focusing Scope on top. Eva marks the farthest enemy for nine seconds, that target eats 50% of the damage her allies deal elsewhere, and meanwhile Marksmen Unity pumps everyone’s output based on distance. Together, these pieces reveal the machine: Eva isn’t merely asking to be made stronger — she’s asking for Marksmen so she can make all of them dangerous.
One important condition is written directly into the skill, however: the chance to trigger drops if the Marksman’s level is higher than 120. For now, we’ll leave that exactly as the game presents it and put it under the microscope once testing begins.
Artifacts, Glyphs, and Talisman at a Glance
We’re saving the deep build discussion for the full guide, so here’s the quick version of Eva’s remaining development.
Artifacts
That’s as far as we’ll go today — no priorities and no upgrade order, because we test first and recommend afterward.
Glyphs
Her Glyphs sit on Physical Attack, Armor Penetration, Critical Hit Chance, Health, and Agility. Again, we’re showing what she has rather than dictating an upgrade path before proper testing.
Talisman of Candidate
Finally, her Talisman is the Talisman of Candidate. We’ll break down rolls and priorities in the complete guide — for today, this stays a first look.
What This New Hero Eva First Impression Means for Marksman Teams
On paper, there’s a lot to like: a Back Line, Agility-based Way of Progress Marksman who punishes the nearest enemy with 25% Max-Health damage, reaches the farthest target with a nine-second Mark, sweeps everyone in front, and amplifies allied Marksmen by up to 400% based on distance. Hero Wars: Alliance, of course, isn’t played on paper.
That’s exactly why our next step is a heavy round of testing. Specifically, we want to see Impossible Shot against genuine tanks and learn what really happens during those three seconds of aiming. Equally, Focusing Scope deserves a run against protected backlines so we can measure what that nine-second Mark can actually accomplish. Above all, Marksmen Unity needs trials across different Marksmen, positions, factions, tanks, and supports, because the big open question is whether stacking Marksmen is truly the answer or whether Eva surprises us somewhere else entirely.
A few threads we’re especially curious about: which Marksmen benefit most from her buffs, whether she naturally slots into a Progress structure or unlocks wild off-Progress combos, and how heavily positioning reshapes her ideal lineup.
First Impression Verdict (Emphasis on “First”)
To be clear, this New Hero Eva First Impression is a starting point rather than a final ruling. Her kit reads like one of the more intriguing Marksman-support hybrids we’ve seen in a while, yet the numbers only become meaningful once battles back them up. In short, we’ll deliver our real verdict after the testing is done — that’s the moment a first look becomes a genuine guide.
Over to you: after seeing Eva’s full base kit, which skill stands out most — the 25% Max-Health punch of Impossible Shot, the deep-backline pressure of Focusing Scope, or that eye-watering 400% ceiling on Marksmen Unity? And which Marksman should we pair with her first? Drop your ideas below, and don’t be shy with the crazy teams.
