Secrets of the Dungeon Guide 2026
This Secrets of the Dungeon guide is getting an update — because the current season has changed things. Most players know this event exists, but few are running it correctly right now. With new Realm Tasks appearing everywhere and older events quietly shifting, the way you approach this event needs to change — even if you have done it a dozen times before.
Below, this Secrets of the Dungeon guide covers every task, every threshold, and every place where free to play players either win big or quietly bleed resources. Let’s go through all of it.
Why Secrets of the Dungeon Still Matters
This event exists for one primary reason: Titan Skin Stones. And those resources have become far more valuable than many players realize.
Titans are continuously receiving new skins. Unlike hero skins, Titan skins are extraordinarily expensive — a single Titan skin requires more than 160,000 Skin Stones to complete. That is an enormous commitment. Which means every opportunity to collect these resources, including older events like this one, genuinely matters for long-term account growth.
Secrets of the Dungeon is also one of the most free to play friendly events remaining in Hero Wars Alliance. You do not need enormous resource dumps. You do not need complicated preparation. You simply need to play smart.
All Seven Tasks in This Secrets of the Dungeon Guide
Secrets of the Dungeon currently contains seven tasks. Here is how to approach each one.
Log in. Collect rewards. Move on. This task requires nothing beyond showing up daily.
Spend Emeralds
This task is straightforward but requires a moment of thought before acting. There are early reward checkpoints at 1,200 Emeralds spent and again at 3,200 Emeralds spent, both of which provide Battle Pass trophies.
Before spending, ask yourself one question: where are you trying to reach inside your Battle Pass? If you purchased the pass and are pushing toward higher levels — especially level 39 for Kendle’s Health Skin — those additional trophies could be genuinely valuable. If you are not chasing those specific rewards, forcing Emerald spending purely for this event may not be worth it. Think before you spend.
Guild Activity
Guild Activity and Spend Energy work together — and that overlap is something you want to exploit. Whenever two tasks in an event create natural synergy, targeting both at once means fewer resources spent for more rewards gained. Because of this, you should plan both tasks together rather than treating them separately.
Aim for at least 2,700 Guild Activity during this event. That target works naturally alongside your energy spending goals and, as a result, lets you knock out both tasks without doubling your effort.
Spend Energy
This is where many players overspend. The maximum task goes all the way to 8,000 Energy, which sounds enormous — because it is.
For most free to play players, the target is 3,000 Energy. That threshold gives solid rewards and solid progression without destroying your resource economy. From an endgame perspective especially, the additional Skin Stones earned from pushing all the way to 8,000 are not particularly impressive relative to the cost.
If you are actively building Titans and urgently need more Skin Stones, the full task exists and you can use it. But for efficiency, 3,000 Energy is the sweet spot for the vast majority of players.
Hydra Attacks
One of the easiest rewards you will collect all event. Most players already complete Hydra attacks as part of their normal daily routine, so there is no extra preparation needed. Simply continue attacking Hydras, continue your regular activities, and collect the rewards as they come.
Collect Titanite
Similarly friendly — but with one important adjustment. Many players default to around 150 Titanite daily during normal play. For Secrets of the Dungeon, you should increase that number to closer to 220 Titanite per day.
That extra effort is worth it because the reward is Titan Skin Stones, and those are absolutely worth the small increase in daily Titanite activity. No hoarding required, no timing strategy, no boxes to save — just push slightly harder each day and collect what the event gives you.
Raid Outlaw Camps
The newest addition to this event. And here is the honest advice: skip it if you want.
The task refreshes daily and requires Outlaw Camp raids. Completing everything takes around 120 Realm Energy. If you are already raiding camps as part of your normal routine, then take the free rewards — it costs you nothing extra. However, if you are not already doing this, do not feel forced. Skipping this task entirely will not significantly damage your account or your event rewards.
The Most Important Lesson From This Event
Ultimately, this Secrets of the Dungeon guide comes down to one core principle: play intelligently, not aggressively. You do not need to dump enormous resources. You do not need to stress over every task. In fact, the event is built to reward normal daily play — and that is precisely what makes it one of the best free to play events remaining in Hero Wars Alliance.
Titans are continuously receiving new skins, and as a result those resources are more valuable than ever. Third skins continue arriving on a regular basis. Moreover, building Titans without a steady supply of Skin Stones is becoming increasingly difficult. An older event like this one — quiet, consistent, low-cost — is therefore exactly the kind of opportunity that separates accounts that progress from accounts that stall.
Secrets of the Dungeon: Quick Summary
Old does not mean useless. In fact, some of the best opportunities to quietly strengthen your account have been sitting there the whole time. This Secrets of the Dungeon guide exists because this event is one of them — take advantage of it every season it appears.
