What Is This Tool?

The Seer’s Game Tracker is a community data collection tool built specifically for Hero Wars Dominion Era players.

Every time you play Seer’s Game, you pick one card out of 2, 3, or 4 — and somewhere in that group is the Bad Luck card. If you pick it, you lose your reward for that round and have to spend Seer’s Coins to continue.

Right now, every player is flying blind. You pick a card and hope. But what if Bad Luck is not as random as the game wants you to believe?

That is what we are trying to find out.

How Seer’s Game Actually Works

Before we get into the tool, here is what we know about the event structure after testing a full 30-round run:

There are 5 phases across 30 rounds:

  • Rounds 1–6 — Green phase. Rounds 1–4 are fully safe with 3 cards and no Bad Luck. Round 5 introduces Bad Luck for the first time with 4 cards. Round 6 is a safe milestone round.
  • Rounds 7–12 — Blue phase. 4 cards every round, 1 Bad Luck card. Round 12 is a safe milestone round.
  • Rounds 13–18 — Purple phase. Same structure — 4 cards, 1 Bad Luck. Round 18 is safe.
  • Rounds 19–24 — Orange phase. Same again. Round 24 is safe.
  • Rounds 25–30 — Red phase. Round 29 drops to 3 cards with Bad Luck still present. Round 30 is the most dangerous — only 2 cards, meaning 50% chance of hitting Bad Luck.

The safe milestone rounds (6, 12, 18, 24) always have 3 cards and zero Bad Luck. These are guaranteed prize rounds.

The continue cost increases every time you hit Bad Luck — regardless of phase:

Bad Luck hitCost to continue
1st time25 Seer’s Coins
2nd time50 Seer’s Coins
3rd time75 Seer’s Coins
4th time100 Seer’s Coins
5th time125 Seer’s Coins
6th time150 Seer’s Coins

If you hit Bad Luck 6 times across a full run, you spend 525 Seer’s Coins just on continues. Most players do not realize this going in.

What We Are Looking For

Here is the real question we want to answer:

Is Bad Luck truly random — or does its position follow a pattern?

Specifically, we are testing whether the position of Bad Luck on one round can predict where it will appear on the next round. For example:

  • Round 7: Bad Luck was on card 3 → does round 8 always have Bad Luck on card 2?
  • Round 7: Bad Luck was on card 1 → does round 8 always have Bad Luck on card 4?

This is called a sequential pattern. If it exists, it means the game is not using true randomness — it is cycling through a predetermined sequence. And if the sequence is fixed, players can use the previous round’s Bad Luck position to predict the next one and avoid it entirely.

We are also looking at whether entire runs share the same Bad Luck sequence. If session A and session B show the same Bad Luck positions across all 30 rounds, that means the game reuses fixed sequences — and once we map them all, players will know exactly which card to avoid every single round.

Both outcomes are valuable:

  • If we find a pattern — we publish it and every player who uses this guide avoids Bad Luck from that point forward.
  • If the data shows pure randomness — we publish that too. Proof that no strategy helps is still useful information that saves players from chasing theories that do not work.

How the Tool Works

Using the tracker takes about 30 seconds per round alongside your normal gameplay:

  1. Open the tracker on this page while you play Seer’s Game
  2. Click Start Tracking Session
  3. Each round, the tool shows you the correct card backs for that phase
  4. Step 1 — Click which card you picked in the game
  5. Step 2 — Click where the Bad Luck card was (after the round reveals)
  6. Your data saves automatically the moment you mark Bad Luck
  7. Click Confirm to move to the next round
  8. Safe rounds (6, 12, 18, 24) advance automatically — nothing to mark
  9. If you stop playing mid-run, click End Session — everything already entered is saved

You do not need to complete all 30 rounds. Even partial sessions add useful data.

The tracker also shows you live community stats — before you pick your card each round, you can see the percentage breakdown of where Bad Luck has appeared for that round across all previous sessions. The more players contribute, the more accurate these numbers become.

Why We Need Your Help

One run proves nothing. Even 10 runs is not enough data to draw conclusions. To find a real pattern — or confirm there is none — we need hundreds of complete sessions across different players, different servers, and different runs.

This is not something one person can do alone. But if the Hero Wars community contributes together, we can build the most accurate Seer’s Game dataset that exists anywhere. No other guide or content creator has this data. We are building it from scratch, together.

Every single session you submit makes the report more accurate for every player who comes after you.

Ready to Help?

The tracker is live below. Start your next Seer’s Game run and track it alongside your gameplay. It takes almost no extra time and your data goes directly into our community database.

After enough sessions are collected, we will publish a full analysis here — with the complete pattern findings, round-by-round breakdown, and actionable advice for every future run.
