Welcome back to Olympus Alliance, Guardians — this is Unbroken Bond Explained, our full breakdown of the second event in the Balance of Power week. Following on from Defiant Edge, Unbroken Bond shifts the focus away from raw hero progression and drives it deep into your everyday activity: Titans, the Guild Dungeon, and the resources many of us quietly stockpile over time. In short, this is the Titan-flavoured chapter of the week, and it rewards the players who prepared.

Before we dig in, one reminder that shapes every decision below. Balance of Power is a connected week, and Gear & Glory is still waiting on the other side. Because of that, the smart play here is not to empty your reserves for the sake of a single milestone. Instead, we’ll walk task by task, work out what you can complete naturally, and pinpoint exactly where spending resources actually makes sense.

What Is Unbroken Bond in Balance of Power?

Unbroken Bond is the middle piece of the three-part Balance of Power event. Whereas Defiant Edge asked you to look at Campaign Energy, Skin Stones, Elemental Spheres and Event Bosses, this stage spreads its objectives across a much wider set of systems. As a result, more types of players find a way in — free-to-play accounts get natural progression, developed accounts get to convert saved resources, and spenders get overlap bonuses on purchases they were already making.

Here’s the full task list at a glance, along with what each one uses and the standout rewards on offer:

The Free and Low-Risk Tasks

Day After Day

Nothing complicated lives here. You simply log in every day throughout the event and collect your rewards, which include Event Coins, Artifact Chests and Rune Stones just for staying active. Even on a busy day, open the game, tap collect, and move on — this progression is essentially free, so there’s no reason to leave it behind.

Generous Soul (VIP Points)

By now you already know our position on this one. Generous Soul is the VIP Points task, and its rewards are genuinely tempting: Event Coins, Kendle and Alecto Soul Stones, Adventure Coins, Season Pass Points, Rune Stones and Mastery Crystals. However, the rule never changes — do not spend money simply because Generous Soul exists. If you were already planning a purchase, then having it progress an extra event track is a nice bonus, so take it. Just don’t let the bonus create the purchase.

Spending With Intention

Wise Exchange (Emeralds)

Now we’re talking about Emeralds, and this is a task where you should slow down before pressing anything. Spending Emeralds is easy; spending them intelligently is a completely different skill. Wise Exchange can hand you Event Coins, Crow, Orm, Alecto and Kendle Soul Stones, Mastery Crystals, Season Pass Points, Rune Stones, Adventure Coins and Artifact Chest Keys, so the reward list is long. That length, though, does not automatically make every milestone good value for your account.

The trick is to combine your Emerald spending with something you actually need. When another activity gives you progression, when you’re already planning an upgrade, or when those Emeralds are generating value somewhere else at the same time, Wise Exchange suddenly becomes far more interesting. Ultimately the objective isn’t to spend more — it’s to make the same Emerald generate as much value as possible. And remember, Gear & Glory is still ahead, so don’t empty the tank in the middle of the race.

Unbroken Bond Explained: The Titan-Focused Tasks

This is where the event shows its true identity. Four of the tasks pull directly from your Titan roster and the systems around it, which is why preparation matters so much. If you’ve been saving the right resources, these objectives let one investment do two jobs at once.

Titanic Contribution

This task asks you to collect Titanite in the Guild Dungeon, and objectives like this are a joy because your activity works for two goals simultaneously. Every Dungeon run feeds the daily Titanite your guild needs while also pushing your personal milestones, which pay out Event Coins, Crow and Kendle and Orm and Alecto Soul Stones, Rune Spheres, Artifact Chest Keys, Fairy Dust, Red Gear Fragments and Mastery Crystals. So if you’re already active in the Dungeon, don’t overcomplicate it — do your runs, collect your Titanite, help your guild, and let the event pay you extra for activity you should be doing anyway.

Summoning Titans

Every sphere you open inside the Summoning Circle contributes to this task, which makes it especially rewarding for players who have been saving Summoning Spheres. That’s exactly why patience with resources pays off: a sphere opened at random gives its normal value, whereas the same sphere opened during the right event delivers that value and progresses another track. The extra progression here provides Event Coins, Rune Stones, Red Gear Fragments, Orm Soul Stones, Season Pass Points, Adventure Energy and Adventure Coins. Still, look at the milestones before you commit — saving everything doesn’t obligate you to open everything, so calculate where the value stops making sense for you.

Hidden Reserves

The Titan focus continues, this time by spending Titan Potions. If you already have Titans that genuinely need development, this becomes another chance to make one investment work twice: you improve your Titans while collecting Event Coins, Mastery Crystals, Orm and Alecto Soul Stones, Red Gear Fragments, Season Pass Points and Adventure Coins. That said, spending saved resources at the right moment is smart, while spending them just because you have them defeats the purpose. When your Titans need the levels, go for it; when they don’t, ask whether pushing another milestone is worth consuming that reserve.

Power Balance

Here we’re spending Titan Skin Stones, and the same caution applies with even more weight. A good Titan skin is permanent progression, but so is a bad one, so don’t throw Skin Stones into something you don’t actually want just because Event Coins are sitting at the next milestone. On the other hand, if a specific Titan skin is already part of your development plan, this is exactly the overlap we want. Upgrade what you intended to upgrade anyway, and enjoy Event Coins, Orm and Crow and Alecto Soul Stones, Meta Cubes, Rune Spheres, Season Pass Points, Artifact Chest Keys, Rune Stones and Mastery Crystals on top. Your event should follow your account plan, not the other way around.

Tower Trophy

Finally we reach Tower Trophy, which simply attaches event progression to your Tower routine. Complete your Tower, open the chests that make sense for you, and progress toward Event Coins, Orm and Kendle and Crow Soul Stones, Rune Spheres, Adventure Energy, Season Pass Points, Red Gear Fragments and Adventure Coins. Even so, don’t let the event turn a normal daily activity into unnecessary spending — there’s always a difference between collecting easy progression and forcing the final milestones.

The Bigger Picture — Should You Push Unbroken Bond?

Look at the range on display: the Dungeon, Summoning Spheres, Titan Potions, Titan Skin Stones, the Tower, Emeralds and plain daily activity. That breadth is probably the event’s biggest strength. Rather than demanding one enormous stockpile of a single resource, Unbroken Bond spreads progression across many systems, which gives far more players a genuine way in.

Even so, we’re holding back on crowning it the strongest part of Balance of Power, because the week isn’t finished. With Unbroken Bond Explained in full, the verdict stays simple: this event rewards preparation, rewards daily activity, and above all gives you several chances to make resources you were already going to use generate additional value. Free-to-play players get natural progression, developed accounts get extra opportunities, and spenders get overlap on planned purchases. Every Guardian, therefore, should have a different stopping point — so find yours.
