Firstborn Force Guide | Hero Wars Alliance
This Firstborn Force Guide walks you through every task in the first event of Ancient Awakening, the opening event group of the Buried Truths Season in Hero Wars Alliance. Since this is also the launch event for the brand-new Elarite Supertitan, Metida, it pays to have a plan before you start spending resources.
Ancient Awakening is made up of three connected events, and we’re covering each one separately. First comes Firstborn Force, then Unstable Equilibrium, and finally Ancient Awakening itself, where we’ll also go through the Event Shop. As always, our recommendations are built around a Free-to-Play account, so you’ll know where your resources are worth spending and where it’s smarter to hold back.
Should Newer Players Rush Metida?
Before getting into the tasks, there’s one important point for newer Guardians. From what we can see in her toolkit, Metida is much more of a mid-to-endgame Titan, and she offers very little for the Dungeon. If you want to dig into her kit in more detail, our Metida First Look covers what we’ve seen so far.
So if your account is still within roughly its first twelve months, don’t feel pressured to throw everything into her just because everyone else is building the new Supertitan. In fact, building a new Supertitan to a serious level from a single launch event is extremely difficult for a Free-to-Play account anyway. During the early game, your Titan priority should still be progressing toward Infinite Dungeon, and Metida doesn’t change that.
There will be plenty of time to develop her later. Meanwhile, protect the progression your account actually needs rather than chasing the newest Titan in the game.
Our Firstborn Force Target: 290 Tasks
Firstborn Force has eight event tasks. On top of those, there are extra Firstborn Force rewards inside the Ancient Awakening tab, based on the total number of tasks you complete. We’ll go deeper into those rewards in our Ancient Awakening breakdown, but for now we believe aiming for approximately 290 completed tasks is both achievable and worthwhile.
Of course, you can earn considerably more resources and Event Shop Currency if you’re prepared to push harder, and that decision is entirely yours. Our goal, however, is to find the point where the rewards stay worthwhile without draining resources that took weeks or months to build up.
Firstborn Force Guide: Task-by-Task Breakdown
1. Log In
There’s nothing complicated here. Simply enter the game every day for all seven days and collect your rewards.
2. Generous Soul (Get VIP Points)
This task is based on earning VIP Points. Because we’re calculating from a Free-to-Play perspective, we’re assuming zero VIP Points here. That said, if you do earn VIP Points during the event, anything you collect becomes extra progression on top of our baseline.
3. United Front (Guild Activity)
United Front rewards Guild Activity, with milestones going all the way up to 4,500 Activity per day. For a Free-to-Play player, however, forcing 4,500 every single day can get expensive, so we think 3,500 Activity per day is a much more reasonable target.
Remember that not all of that Activity has to come from burning Energy. For example, activating a Glyph on a Hero gives you 700 Activity each day. You can also forge excess equipment through the Guild Forge when you need a little more. In short, use the systems already available to you before spending resources just to chase another milestone.
4. Hidden Reserves (Fairy Dust)
This is the Titan-focused task, requiring up to 10,000 Fairy Dust per day spent developing Titans. That’s slightly more than players normally get from the Hydra each day, but across the full event we believe it’s a realistic target.
Still, Fairy Dust is valuable. Rather than throwing it into a random Titan because the event tells you to spend, have a development plan. If you’re spending 10,000 Fairy Dust for event progress, make sure it’s also strengthening a Titan you genuinely need. That way, one investment gives you both event progression and permanent account progression.
5. Summoning Titans (Summoning Spheres)
The maximum requirement here is 50 Summoning Spheres per day. Honestly, we’ve had Sphere spending tasks for what feels like weeks, and your inventory isn’t bottomless.
For that reason, we don’t think forcing 50 Spheres every day is sensible for Free-to-Play players. Instead, our recommendation is approximately 30 Summoning Spheres per day. This still gives you meaningful progress on the task without emptying your reserves for a single event.
6. Tower Trophy (Tower Chests)
This task rewards opening Tower Chests, and we’re keeping it extremely simple. Open your normal Free-to-Play Tower Chests each day, then stop. For the targets we’re aiming for, there’s no reason to push extra resources into this one.
7. Valkyrie Artifacts (Artifact Chests)
This one deserves a little more attention because timing matters. The task asks you to open Artifact Chests in the Airship, with a target of 40 per day. Forty is achievable for essentially everyone at least once, but don’t rush to open them right away.
If possible, wait until Day Three. That’s when this task overlaps with a Guild Versus task involving Artifact Chests. After all, if the same 40 chests can progress two different objectives, there’s no point opening them earlier and getting value from only one. Wait for the overlap and let the same resources work twice.
8. Payback Time (Realm Bosses)
Finally, there’s the familiar Realm task of defeating 10 Boss Monsters as the Raid Leader. We believe this one is worth completing fully. The World Energy you naturally receive each day should comfortably cover it, so for most players there’s little reason to leave these rewards behind.

Here’s the full Free-to-Play plan in one place, so you can check your daily targets quickly.
Expected Rewards
Put everything together and you’ll land at roughly 290 completed Firstborn Force tasks toward Ancient Awakening. Following the approach above, our calculations give approximately:
That’s a substantial amount of progression without treating every maximum milestone as mandatory. Once you’ve built up your Eternal Marks, our Ancient Awakening Shop Guide shows where we think they provide the most value.
What Comes Next in Ancient Awakening
This Firstborn Force Guide is only Part One. Next up is Unstable Equilibrium, where Metida herself starts appearing directly among the rewards. After that, we’ll bring everything together with Ancient Awakening, looking at how progress from the first two events feeds into the final one.
Metida has arrived and the Buried Truths Season is underway. Even so, especially if you’re a newer Guardian, don’t let the excitement around a new Supertitan change the priorities your account actually needs. Build intelligently, take advantage of the overlaps, and protect the resources that matter.
