Metida Build Guide | Hero Wars Alliance
This Metida Build Guide answers the question every Hero Wars Alliance player has been asking since she arrived: how far should you actually develop her? After plenty of testing across different stages of investment, we have an answer, and it is not “max everything.” Instead, we’re looking for the comfortable development points where Metida already does her job without draining resources you could spend elsewhere.
Anyone can write a guide that says level 120 on every Artifact and every Skin maxed. That advice is technically correct, but it isn’t useful for most accounts. So in this guide we focus on realistic targets for her Artifacts, the Skins that matter, and the big Health debate that has divided the community.
Metida Is a Control Supertitan, Not a Damage Dealer
Before touching a single upgrade, it helps to understand her role. Metida is a Control Supertitan. She isn’t Solaris, and she isn’t Araji either, so we’re not developing her to chase the biggest damage number on the screen.
Rather, her job is to survive, control the battle, and strengthen the different Elements around her. Every recommendation below follows from that idea. As a result, some upgrades that look mandatory on paper turn out to be optional, while one stat people tell you to avoid actually deserves your investment.
Metida Build Guide: Artifact Targets
Here is a quick overview of where we’re comfortable stopping on each of her three Artifacts. After the table, we break down the reasoning behind each one.
Zorval’s Amulet: Level 95 to 105
Zorval’s Amulet gives Metida Extra Damage against Light and Darkness Titans. For us, the comfortable target sits somewhere around level 95 to 105. If you want to push a little further, level 110 is a reasonable ceiling.
Beyond that point, though, we don’t see a reason to keep going just for the sake of maxing the Artifact. Remember the goal here. She needs enough development to perform her role effectively, not every possible point of damage before she becomes useful.
Elarite Crown: Level 90 to 110
The Elarite Crown also boosts her damage against Light and Darkness Titans. More importantly, it adds Extra Defense against those same Titans, which fits perfectly with a Titan whose value depends on staying alive.
Our comfortable range here is roughly level 90 to 110. That gives her enough development to deal with Light and Darkness while picking up meaningful defensive value. Even so, nothing in this build requires you to automatically push it all the way.
Chthonic Balance Seal: Level 90 to 100
This is where things get interesting. The Chthonic Balance Seal gives Metida Physical Attack and Health, and our recommendation is to take it to around level 90 to 100 and stop there.
Physical Attack is extremely important for her because her Attack directly scales the values inside her kit. Health, on the other hand, is the stat that sparks debate. Since more Health can change how quickly she builds Energy from incoming damage, some players conclude that it slows down Crystal Vortex and should be avoided.
After our testing, we don’t agree with looking at her that way. At level 90 to 100, you get the Attack she needs, extra survivability on top, and a comfortable stopping point without grinding another twenty levels simply because they exist.
Why Crystal Vortex Isn’t the Whole Story
Crystal Vortex is an excellent skill. She traps the central enemy, deals damage, moves that target around the battlefield, and prevents it from moving, attacking, or using skills. In other words, it is fantastic Control.
However, Crystal Vortex alone does not define Metida. What really makes her special is everything she does throughout the fight, and most of that comes from Supreme Harmony, which changes depending on the surviving Titans around her:
- Fire Titans receive healing.
- Earth Titans receive speed.
- Water Titans receive Physical Attack.
On top of that, once the Elarite Summoner arrives, we’ll finally be able to see how her Elarite interaction fits into the complete faction. Until then, the support she provides through Supreme Harmony is already a big part of her value, and she can only provide it while she’s alive.
Skins: Develop Physical Attack
Physical Attack is an important Skin for Metida, and not just because it makes her basic attacks hit harder. Her Attack is connected directly to her skills, so this Skin improves the entire package she brings to a battle:
- The healing from Supreme Harmony scales with Attack.
- The Physical Attack boost she gives Water Titans scales with Attack.
- Her additional damage scales with Attack.
- Crystal Vortex damage scales with Attack as well.
Because of this, Physical Attack is one of the clearest investments you can make in her.
The Health Debate: Should You Skip Metida’s Health?
Now for the controversial part: Health, and especially the Health Skin and Health Skin+ available through Ancient Awakening. The argument goes like this. Keep her Health low so she gains Energy faster from incoming damage, and she reaches Crystal Vortex sooner.
That’s exactly why we didn’t want to publish this guide before testing it ourselves. We ran her without the Health Skin developed, then with partial development, and then pushed it further. We also tested the Skin+, changed Artifact levels, and repeated battles at different stages to see what actually happened.
Was there sometimes a small difference in when Crystal Vortex activated? Yes, and we’re not going to pretend otherwise. Still, nothing we saw convinced us that she should sacrifice survivability just to reach her ultimate slightly faster.
When we tested Health, we weren’t only staring at the Energy bar asking whether Crystal Vortex fired a second earlier or later. Instead, we watched the whole battle: how long she survived, what she provided to the other Titans, and whether that small timing difference actually changed the result. Across every stage of development, we found no reason to be afraid of building her Health.
This is where understanding her role really matters. Control doesn’t only mean disabling an enemy. With Metida, it also means shaping the rhythm of your own team, and if she’s dead, she isn’t controlling anything.
Our Metida Build Guide Summary
The philosophy is simple. Don’t overbuild her unnecessarily, but don’t underbuild her out of fear of delaying Crystal Vortex either. Here’s the full picture:
- Zorval’s Amulet: around level 95–105, with 110 available if you want a little more.
- Elarite Crown: around level 90–110.
- Chthonic Balance Seal: around level 90–100, then stop.
- Physical Attack Skin: develop it, since it supports her entire kit.
- Health Skin and Skin+: don’t avoid them just because of the “more Health is worse” theory. Our testing didn’t support it.
Final Thoughts
There may be a small change in Crystal Vortex timing when you add Health. Even so, the version we want isn’t a fragile Titan built around reaching one ultimate as fast as possible. We want her to stay on the battlefield, keep controlling the fight, keep Fire alive, accelerate Earth, and give Water the offensive pressure it needs.
That’s the difference between simply maxing a Titan and building her intelligently. You don’t need everything at maximum; you need enough development for her to do her job. Based on all of our testing, the ranges in this Metida Build Guide are exactly where we feel comfortable building ours, and once the Elarite Summoner arrives, we’ll put the complete faction to the test.
