Bountiful Roads F2P Guide | Hero Wars Alliance
This Bountiful Roads F2P guide kicks off our full breakdown of the new event cycle in Hero Wars Alliance, starting with Roads Unlocked. In fact, there is a lot happening this time, because three events are launching back to back across the cycle.
Roads Unlocked opens first, Grand Caravan follows on day two, and then on day three we bring everything together in our complete Bountiful Roads analysis, including our event shop recommendations. In other words, today is the foundation the rest of the series builds on.
What Bountiful Roads Brings This Cycle
After the Titan focus of the previous events, this cycle swings mostly back to Heroes. The shop features skins for Chabba, Mushy and Cornelius, Cornelius’ second Talisman, and several other Talismans as well.
However, we don’t want to rush into shop verdicts before looking at everything properly. Once all three parts of Bountiful Roads are covered, we will rank the shop options and share our priority list. For now, our attention stays firmly on Roads Unlocked.
Bountiful Roads F2P Guide: Our Free to Play Baseline
As usual with our event reviews, we approach this primarily from a Free to Play perspective. That matters, because the numbers below are meant to be reasonably accessible without assuming VIP points or aggressive resource spending.
Of course, if you are willing to use extra resources or push certain tasks further, you can earn more Event Coins and additional rewards. Our baseline simply gives you a realistic reference point, so you can then decide whether going further makes sense for your own account.
There is also one number worth keeping in mind throughout: 200 completed tasks. Additional Roads Unlocked rewards sit inside the Bountiful Roads tab, based on the accumulated number of tasks you complete. We will cover that system fully in the complete review, but looking at the event as a whole, we believe 200 tasks is both achievable and worthwhile. As a result, that target shapes every recommendation in this guide.
Roads Unlocked Tasks at a Glance
Roads Unlocked has seven event tasks. All of them award coins toward the event shop except Generous Soul, which is the VIP task. Here is how each one lines up against our F2P targets.
The easiest task of the lot. Simply log in every day across all seven days and collect the rewards, since there is absolutely no reason to miss this one.
Generous Soul
This task requires VIP points, so for our Free to Play calculation we count zero. Naturally, players who gain VIP points during the event will progress further, but that counts as extra progression rather than part of our baseline.
Hidden Reserves
Hidden Reserves focuses on Titans. To complete the daily target, you need to spend 10,000 Fairy Dust leveling your Titans. That is slightly more than the amount Hydra provides each day; still, across the full event we believe it should remain manageable.
More importantly, Fairy Dust has real value. Spending it randomly just because an event asks you to is a poor trade. Instead, if you already have a Titan development plan, use this event to invest that Fairy Dust into Titans you genuinely intend to build. Completing an event task is good, but completing it while pushing your account in the direction you already wanted is much better.
Price of Power
Here the requirements become considerably more demanding. Price of Power asks you to spend Skin Stones, with the full daily requirement reaching 12,500. For many Free to Play players, doing that every single day will simply cost too much.
For that reason, our calculation uses a target of 4,500 Skin Stones per day. This still gives meaningful progress in the task, without building a F2P baseline around 12,500 every day.
There is also something we think could be improved from a Guild Versus perspective. The developers previously indicated that the newer event structure would fit Guild Versus better. Yet because Price of Power resets daily, your Skin Stone spending only contributes properly to Guild Versus on the two relevant days of the week.
Ideally, players could complete this spending on Day 2 or Day 5 of Guild Versus and get better combined value from both systems. We intend to pass this feedback to the developers. The task itself is fine; rather, a small structural change could make the same spending feel considerably better.
Tower Trophy
Tower Trophy rewards you for opening Tower chests, and our approach here is simple: use your normal free chests each day and stop there. In our opinion, the rewards aren’t strong enough to justify extra spending purely to progress this task. That said, if going further fits your account and resources, the option is there.
Beyond Horizon
This one is much friendlier. Beyond Horizon rewards you for starting Expeditions, and a Free to Play player should comfortably manage seven per day, which is the benchmark we use. Overall, there is no reason to complicate it, so keep your Expeditions running and the progress comes naturally.
Payback Time
Finally, we have the familiar Realm task: defeat ten boss monsters as the Raid Leader. We believe this one is well worth completing. The daily World Energy should comfortably cover the requirement, so unlike the more resource-hungry tasks, there is good reason for F2P players to take all the available progression here.
Roads Unlocked F2P Rewards Total
So what does all of this actually give us? Using the approach above, and keeping the 200-task target in mind, our Bountiful Roads F2P guide calculation for Roads Unlocked comes to the following totals.
Keep in mind that this is deliberately not the theoretical maximum. We don’t count VIP progression, we don’t assume 12,500 Skin Stones every day, and we don’t force extra Tower chests just because another reward exists. Rather, this is our realistic reference point.
If your account has more resources and you decide extra progression is worthwhile, you can absolutely finish above these numbers. Ultimately, though, that decision belongs to you.
What’s Next in Bountiful Roads
Next up is Grand Caravan, where we look at exactly what F2P players can realistically earn. After that, we return with the complete Bountiful Roads review, combining all event rewards, totaling the shop currency you can realistically obtain, and answering the question that matters most: where your currency gives the best value.
With the Chabba, Mushy and Cornelius skins, Cornelius’ second Talisman, and several other Talismans on the table, we will build a clear priority list instead of calling everything in the shop valuable. Until then, focus on Roads Unlocked, develop what your account actually needs, and avoid spending valuable resources only because an event task happens to be in front of you.
