Faceless Superskin Analysis | Hero Wars Alliance
This Faceless Superskin Analysis breaks down everything in Unbroken Bond, the second event of this week’s Hero Wars Alliance lineup, and answers the big question: is the Faceless Superskin worth the Titan Skin Stones it demands? Along the way, we’ll cover all eight task categories, from Titan development to Realm activities, and share our Free-to-Play targets for each one.
There’s also an important connection here. Everything we earn in Unbroken Bond feeds into Gear of Glory, where we’ll bring all of this week’s rewards together and explore the Event Shop. In other words, the progress you make today directly shapes what you can buy tomorrow.
As always, our recommendations follow a Free-to-Play approach. That said, every Guardian should feel free to adjust them to fit their own resources and priorities.
Unbroken Bond at a Glance
Unbroken Bond runs for seven days and features eight task categories. Some of them are simple daily habits, while others depend heavily on how far your account has progressed. Here’s how our Free-to-Play plan looks across the whole event:
Faceless Superskin Analysis: Is It Worth the Skin Stones?
Power Balance is easily the most interesting category in Unbroken Bond, because it’s where the Faceless Superskin lives. However, reaching that reward requires a substantial investment of Titan Skin Stones.
Half a million Skin Stones is a serious commitment, so this decision deserves some careful thought. Right now, Faceless isn’t among the most prominent Heroes in the competitive meta. As a result, the value of this upgrade depends heavily on your account and on your plans for him.
On the other hand, Guardians who actively develop Faceless may find the Superskin genuinely attractive. These upgrades aren’t always easy to obtain later, which makes this window more meaningful for dedicated Faceless players.
For our Free-to-Play calculations, though, we’re targeting 150,000 Titan Skin Stones. That amount still delivers solid event progression while preserving a significant share of our resources for other Titan upgrades. Ultimately, the best choice is the one that supports your own development priorities.
Task-by-Task Strategy for Unbroken Bond
Day After Day and Generous Soul
These two familiar objectives open the event. Day After Day rewards logging in throughout the seven days, whereas Generous Soul focuses on earning VIP points. For our calculations, we complete the daily login task and assume zero VIP points.
Wide Exchange
Wide Exchange rewards spending Emeralds, and our recommended target is 1,000 Emeralds across the event. Since no major sales are scheduled this week, it pays to be selective about extra spending. Of course, if you already have upgrades or purchases planned, you can push further and collect additional rewards.
Reinforcements
This task covers Realm troop training speed-ups, with milestones reaching 3,720 minutes. Here, account progression makes a considerable difference. Some Guardians still have troops to train or promote, while others have already hit their training building limits.
For players in that second group, extra training may simply not be practical. That’s why we’re excluding Reinforcements from our Free-to-Play calculations. However, if your account can still train or promote troops, consider lining this task up with Day Five of Guild Versus, so the same activity counts toward both events.
Summoning Titans
This time there’s a useful change compared with recent events. Instead of a daily requirement, the summoning task can be completed at any point during the seven-day period. Consequently, we can align our Titan Summoning Spheres with Day One of Guild Versus and collect progress from both activities at once.
Our recommendation is 100 Summoning Spheres. It’s a reasonable target that earns event rewards while still keeping some reserves for future opportunities.
Power Balance
We covered this one in detail in our Faceless Superskin Analysis above. To recap briefly, the Superskin costs 500,000 Titan Skin Stones, the full chain needs 750,000, and our Free-to-Play target sits at 150,000.
Tower Trophy
Tower Trophy rewards opening Tower Chests, and the plan couldn’t be simpler: use the 11 free chests available each day. Across the seven-day event, that adds up to 77 Tower Chests, so we reach the milestone without spending anything extra. Naturally, players who open more can collect additional rewards.
Tactical Losses
Finally, Tactical Losses tracks troop losses in Realm, with the top milestone requiring 35,000 troops lost during the event. Realm activity varies a lot between players, so your progress will depend on how actively you join battles and raids.
For our calculations, we’re aiming for the first milestone of 10,000 troop losses. Regular Elite Boss raids can already contribute significantly here, which means normal Realm play may get you most of the way. Since lost troops also need recovery through the Infirmary, keep your available capacity and resources in mind.
Above all, coordinate with your guild and pick activities that suit your usual gameplay. There’s no need to overhaul your whole Realm strategy just to finish one extra event task.
Projected Free-to-Play Rewards
Following these recommendations, our Free-to-Play plan completes 30 tasks in Unbroken Bond. Here’s what that earns us:
- 34,600 Balance Sigils
- 1,500 Adventure Coins
- 125 Season Pass Trophies
These rewards add to our overall event progression and set us up for the Gear of Glory review. There, we’ll combine the results from Defiant Edge and Unbroken Bond, calculate our total rewards, and explore the Event Shop options. We’ll also take a closer look at Luther’s Superskin and see how it compares with the other opportunities this week.
Final Thoughts
Unbroken Bond offers several ways to collect rewards, from Titan Summoning and Skin Stones to Tower Chests and Realm activities. Meanwhile, the Faceless Superskin remains the headline decision. For most Free-to-Play accounts, a 150,000 Skin Stone target strikes the right balance, whereas committed Faceless players may decide the full 500,000 is worth it.
So, what’s your plan? Are you going for the Faceless Superskin, or saving for other Titan upgrades? And will you coordinate your Titan Summoning and troop training with Guild Versus? Let us know in the comments!
