Defiant Edge Rewards Guide | Hero Wars Alliance

Defiant Edge Rewards Guide

Our Defiant Edge Rewards Guide covers everything you need to plan this week’s event in Hero Wars Alliance, from daily task targets to the final reward totals. Defiant Edge kicks off a three-event week, followed by Unbroken Bond and then Gear of Glory, where we’ll calculate total rewards and explore the Event Shop.

Before we dive in, there’s one detail worth flagging. For the second event in a row, a Superskin is on offer. This time, Luther takes the spotlight with his Toughness skins, while players who missed the Faceless Superskin get another shot at it.

Luther has become a far more interesting hero since his recent changes and the arrival of his Relics. Even so, that doesn’t automatically make his Superskin your next priority. After several back-to-back events, resources are more valuable than ever, so this decision deserves careful thought. We’ll break down Luther’s Superskin properly in the Gear of Glory Event Shop review.

Our Free-to-Play Approach

As always, every calculation in this Defiant Edge Rewards Guide follows a Free-to-Play approach. Since every account has different resources and priorities, treat these numbers as a realistic baseline you can adapt to your own progression rather than a fixed rulebook.

Defiant Edge Tasks: All Seven Categories

The easiest category of the lot. Simply enter the game every day of the seven-day event to collect your rewards.

Generous Soul

This category rewards VIP points. For our Free-to-Play calculations, we’re therefore assuming zero progress here. Of course, players who make purchases will naturally pick up extra rewards, but they aren’t part of our recommended strategy.

Energy of Evolution

Here, you need to spend Energy, up to a maximum of 4,000 per day. Energy is always useful for developing heroes; however, hitting that cap every day is a considerable investment. In addition, the final milestones involve guild activity, so there’s no alternative route — the Energy has to actually be spent.

For that reason, we recommend 1,500 Energy per day. That keeps progress at a reasonable level while preserving resources for other activities and upcoming events.

Price of Power

Next up is another resource worth guarding: Skin Stones. The cap sits at 5,000 per day, which adds up to 35,000 across the week. That’s a big ask, especially for accounts still developing several heroes.

Instead of chasing the final milestones, we suggest spending 2,250 Skin Stones daily. Wherever possible, put them into skins that already belong to your development plans. That way, you’re strengthening your heroes while collecting event rewards, rather than spending resources just to complete a task.

Defiant Edge Rewards Guide for Hero Wars Alliance

Awakening

After almost two months of Titan Summoning Spheres in these events, we finally have a change. This time, the task calls for Elemental Spheres instead.

Our target is 50 Elemental Spheres per day. So if you’ve been saving them, now is a good opportunity to put those reserves to use and complete the daily milestones. Naturally, how many you can open depends on your inventory, but our calculations assume the full 50.

Trial of Strength

Trial of Strength brings us back to the Arena, with 15 attacks required every day. Reaching that number does cost some Emeralds, yet there’s a solid reason to consider it: Arena progression also pays out daily Emeralds. For example, Champions Two League offers 1,000 Emeralds per day, while Champions One offers 300.

On top of that, a new Arena season has just begun, which makes this a useful moment to improve your ranking. Climbing higher means better rewards now and a stronger starting position for the following season. In short, the extra attacks feed both your event progress and your longer-term Arena goals. We recommend all 15 daily attacks, provided the Emerald investment makes sense for your account.

Payback Time

Finally, we’re heading into the Realm once again. Payback Time requires defeating 10 Boss Monsters while acting as the Raid Leader. For active players, the World Energy received each day should generally be enough, so this is another category we recommend for full completion.

Recommended Daily Targets at a Glance

Seven task categories, each with a different resource requirement, but all contributing to overall event progression. Here’s the full plan in one place:

Task Requirement Daily Max Our F2P Target
Log In Log in daily 1 login Full completion
Generous Soul VIP points — Skipped (F2P)
Energy of Evolution Spend Energy 4,000 1,500
Price of Power Spend Skin Stones 5,000 2,250
Awakening Open Elemental Spheres 50 50
Trial of Strength Arena attacks 15 15
Payback Time Defeat Realm Boss Monsters as Raid Leader 10 10

The Gear of Glory Connection

Defiant Edge isn’t the only reason we’re completing these tasks. Every task finished here also counts toward the accumulated task rewards in Gear of Glory, and that’s where planning becomes particularly valuable.

By combining the recommended daily objectives above, we’re aiming for 250 completed tasks. That gives us a clear target without needing to max out every expensive category.

Defiant Edge Rewards: Our Projected Totals

Following this Free-to-Play strategy, here’s what we project to collect:

  • 146,650 Balance Sigils
  • 29,400 Adventure Coins
  • 910 Season Pass Trophies

That’s a very solid result, especially considering we’re excluding VIP points and avoiding the highest Energy and Skin Stone requirements. Keep in mind that these are recommended targets, not limits. Players with additional resources can complete more milestones and collect even greater rewards.

Before deciding how far to push, though, it’s worth knowing what you can actually buy in the Event Shop. After all, collecting resources is only the first part of the strategy; knowing where to invest them matters just as much. Our Gear of Glory review will cover exactly that, including where Luther’s Superskin fits among your priorities. Meanwhile, Unbroken Bond is next in our event coverage.

What’s Your Plan This Week?

That wraps up our Defiant Edge Rewards Guide. Are you planning to invest in Luther’s Superskin, or saving resources for other upgrades? And how are your Elemental Sphere reserves looking after all those previous events? Share your plans with the community — we’d love to hear them.
