Abyss Splendor Event Breakdown | Hero Wars Alliance

Abyss Splender Event Explained

The Scorching Flame Season is here, and with it comes one of the biggest event changes Hero Wars Alliance players have seen in a while. If you want the Abyss Splendor event explained from top to bottom — rewards, tasks, what was lost, and what is actually worth your time — this breakdown covers everything you need to know before jumping in.

Because while Abyss Splendor brings some genuinely exciting additions, there are real losses here too. Guardians, you deserve the full picture before deciding where to invest your effort this season.

What Happened to Outland Splendor?

Abyss Splendor replaces Outland Splendor entirely — and that replacement comes with a cost. Two major tasklines from the old event have been removed completely.

The first was the Outland Shop Purchase chain, which previously rewarded around 2,300 skin stones and 135 Battle Pass trophies. The second was the “Win with 21 Different Heroes in Arena” chain, which gave another 1,700 skin stones, 5 relic shards, and 155 Battle Pass trophies. Both are gone.

So before you even look at the new tasks, players are already starting the season down:

  • 4,000 skin stones
  • 5 relic shards
  • 290 Battle Pass trophies

That is a painful starting point. Outland Splendor was already one of the most efficient recurring events for hero skin progression, so losing those chains is a significant hit to the traditional reward structure.

The Eight Tasks of Abyss Splendor Explained

Abyss Splendor now runs on eight tasks total. The first three — Log In, Open Outland Chests, and Earn VIP — remain mostly familiar, although login rewards now include more Realm-related resources and fewer large skin stone chests. That shift already tells you something important about where this event is heading.

Here is a full breakdown of every taskline and how much each one is genuinely worth chasing.

Tower Chests — Is This Abyss Splendor Task Worth It?

The Tower taskline rewards players for opening chests daily, scaling all the way to 33 Tower chests per day. However, fully completing it at that level earns around 900 skin stones, 50 Battle Pass trophies, 75 Rune Spheres, artifact coins, Realm materials, and speedups.

The catch is that thirty-three Tower chests a day is a heavy emerald investment for most players. Realistically, staying around fifteen daily is smarter — you still pick up roughly 250 skin stones, 25 Rune Spheres, and solid Battle Pass progression without burning resources inefficiently. Unless you are a whale, maxing this every day is therefore not recommended.

Energy Burst — Best New Task in the Abyss Splendor Event ⚡

This is one of the best new additions in the entire event. Players are finally being rewarded directly for spending energy — something that was completely absent from Outland Splendor.

Each cycle goes up to 3,500 energy and rewards 88 small skin stone chests, 25 Rune Spheres, Realm resources, and speedups. Most active players can comfortably complete at least one cycle, and because the task repeats, this consequently becomes one of the most efficient ways to recover some of the skin stones lost from the old structure. A very welcome addition overall.

Titan Forge (Titanite Mining) 🔩

Alongside Energy Burst, this is the other standout taskline in Abyss Splendor. Players need to gather 800 Titanite during the event, and the return is excellent — 1,120 skin stones, 200 Rune Spheres, and 45 Battle Pass trophies.

Furthermore, almost any player with Infinite Dungeon progression can complete this comfortably. Simple, efficient, and genuinely rewarding. Exactly what a good event task should look like.

Task Skin Stones Other Rewards Worth It?
Tower Chests (moderate) ~250/day 25 Rune Spheres, BP ✔ Yes (15/day cap)
Energy Burst 880 per cycle 25 Rune Spheres, speedups ✔ Excellent
Titan Forge 1,120 200 Rune Spheres, 45 BP ✔ Excellent
Train Marksmen (partial) ~500 (full chain) 1 Relic Shard ⚠ Stop at 10,500
Gather Food ~270 Minor Realm resources ✘ Passive only

Train Marksmen ⚠️

This is where the event starts getting frustrating. Fully completing the Marksmen chain requires training 48,000 marksmen — which means constant logins, massive speedup consumption, or very inefficient troop management throughout the event window.

The full reward is only around 500 skin stones, one relic shard, and some Realm resources. That is nowhere near enough return for that level of effort. As a result, the recommendation here is straightforward: aim for around 10,500 marksmen, grab the single relic shard, and stop. Pushing further is simply not worth your time or speedups.

Gather Food ⚠️

The final taskline follows the same pattern. Maxing it requires gathering 36 million food across the entire event, which means running constant gathering cycles for three days straight. In return, the full reward is only around 270 skin stones and a small amount of Realm resources.

Do this one passively if you happen to be gathering anyway, but do not force it. The return does not come close to justifying the effort.

Is the Abyss Splendor Event Explained Worth It Overall?

Honestly? It depends entirely on who you are as a player.

For most of the playerbase, the Abyss Splendor event explained in full lands as a trade rather than a clear upgrade. You gain Rune Spheres — which are genuinely welcome — and you gain more Realm interaction. However, you also lose a chunk of the classic hero progression value that Outland Splendor reliably delivered every season.

Even after completing Energy Burst, Titan Forge, and moderate Tower progression, most players will still end up slightly below what Outland Splendor previously provided in skin stones and relic shards — unless they invest heavily into Tower refreshes.

For whale players opening 33 Tower chests every day, though, the math does shift. Those players can realistically reach around 5,500 skin stones through the full event structure, which would actually put them ahead of the old format. That said, it remains a very specific group.

What the Abyss Splendor Event Tells Us About Hero Wars

This event is not just a reward swap — it is a signal. Realm is clearly becoming a much bigger part of the Hero Wars Alliance experience. Seasonal tasks are increasingly tied to Realm progression, Guild Versus interaction is being woven into event structures, and older formats are quietly disappearing to make room for new ones.

Whether that becomes a good thing for the game long term still needs time to judge. Nevertheless, players are watching very closely right now. How rewards evolve across the next few seasons will ultimately tell us a lot about where Hero Wars Alliance is actually heading.

Final Recommendations for the Abyss Splendor Event

Keep it focused. These are the tasks worth prioritizing this season:

  • Energy Burst — Complete every cycle you can. Best skin stone recovery in the event.
  • Titan Forge — Complete it fully. Excellent value and very accessible.
  • Outland Chest Openings — Continue as normal.
  • Tower Chests — Stay around 15 per day unless you are a heavy spender.
  • Marksmen — Stop at 10,500. Take the relic shard and walk away.
  • Food Gathering — Passive only. Do not chase the full chain.

In summary, stick to the efficient tasks and skip the Realm-heavy grind chains. The rewards simply do not justify forcing them.
