Bountiful Roads Shop Guide | Hero Wars Alliance

Bountiful Roads Shop Guide

This Bountiful Roads Shop Guide wraps up our full Hero Wars Alliance coverage of the event and answers the question everyone has been asking: what should you actually buy? Earlier this week, we broke down Roads Unlocked and Grand Caravan, and now we’re bringing everything together into one final plan.

The shop has some genuinely interesting options this time. You’ll find second Talismans for Guus, Somna, Tristan, Octavia and Soleil, plus Legendary Relic Shards for Folio. Before we get to the shop, however, we need to finish the event math so you know exactly what you can afford.

As always, we’re looking at this from a realistic Free-to-Play perspective. In other words, we’re not assuming unlimited Emeralds, huge resource reserves or full completion of every task. Our goal is to show what an active player can reasonably achieve, so that you can decide whether any extra investment makes sense for your account.

Bountiful Roads Task Categories

Bountiful Roads has six task categories. Here’s each one, along with the maximum requirement and the realistic target we used in our calculations.

Task What It Asks For F2P Target
Day After Day Log in each day of the 7-day event All 7 days
Transforming Talismans Reroll Talisman stats with Meta Cubes (max 500) 100 rerolls
Without Delay Use Realm speed-ups (max 2,400 minutes) 240 minutes
Energy of Evolution Spend 4,000 Energy per repeatable cycle 2 cycles
Roads Unlocked Accumulated event progression 200 tasks
Grand Caravan Accumulated event progression 42 tasks

Daily, Talisman and Speed-Up Tasks

Day After Day is as simple as it gets: log in every day of the seven-day event and collect your rewards.

Transforming Talismans, on the other hand, asks you to reroll Talisman stats using Meta Cubes. The maximum requirement is 500 rerolls, which is a considerable investment for Free-to-Play players. For that reason, we’re targeting 100 rerolls instead.

Here’s an important tip. If you’re planning to improve your Talismans, try to do it on Day Four of Guild Versus. That way, any Hero Power gains also count toward your Guild Versus progression, so the same resources benefit two activities at once.

Without Delay is a new task involving Realm speed-ups, and several types count toward it: troop training, troop healing, research and construction. The maximum is 2,400 minutes, which works out to forty hours of speed-ups. Since not everyone has that much sitting in their inventory, our F2P calculation uses just 240 minutes, or four hours. Again, check your Guild Versus objectives first, because covering both with the same speed-ups gives you better value.

Energy and Progression Tasks

Energy of Evolution is a repeatable task that rewards Rune Stones for spending Energy. Each cycle requires 4,000 Energy, and we’re estimating two completed cycles across the event. That gives a reasonable reference point without assuming you’ll buy large amounts of extra Energy.

Next come the accumulated progression rewards from the two previous events. For Roads Unlocked, our recommended target was 200 completed tasks, which brings a solid pile of resources and, importantly, Chabba’s Demonic Skin. Meanwhile, our Grand Caravan target was 42 completed tasks, which also secures Mushy and Shroom’s Demonic Skin.

This is exactly why we covered each event separately. Rather than trying to complete everything blindly, you now have clear targets and know which rewards you’re working toward.

Estimated F2P Rewards from All Three Events

So what happens when you combine Roads Unlocked, Grand Caravan and Bountiful Roads? Following our complete Free-to-Play approach, these are the final estimated totals.

Currency Estimated Total
Exchange Sigils 51,150
Adventure Coins 34,550
Season Pass Trophies 1,040

Those are the numbers we’re using for every shop recommendation below. Keep the 51,150 Exchange Sigils figure in mind, because it decides what’s within reach and what isn’t.

Bountiful Roads Shop Guide: The Talismans

Now for the interesting part. The Talisman selection is very good this time, with second Talismans available for Somna, Guus, Soleil, Octavia and Tristan. Galahad, Artemis, Helios, Qing Mao, Markus and Ginger are also on the shelf.

Bountiful Roads Shop Guide – Guus and Somna Talisman choice in Hero Wars Alliance

Every Talisman costs 60,000 Exchange Sigils. With our realistic total of 51,150, you’re short by just 8,850 Sigils, so a Talisman is relatively close. To narrow things down, let’s focus on the five most interesting candidates.

Hero Second Talisman Stats Our Take
Guus Armor + Physical Attack Strong upgrade candidate – our first pick
Somna Physical Attack + Toughness Strong upgrade candidate – very close second
Tristan Armor + Physical Attack Good, but original Talisman often still preferred
Octavia Toughness + Physical Attack Good, but original Talisman often still preferred
Soleil Magic Reflection + Health Good, but original Talisman often still preferred

All five are relevant Heroes, and all five Talismans provide useful stats. However, there’s an important difference between a good Talisman and one that’s actually worth replacing your current Talisman with.

For Tristan, Octavia and Soleil, we frequently still prefer their original Talismans. That doesn’t make the second ones bad. Still, if you’ve already developed their first Talismans, swapping them out probably isn’t your highest priority. As a result, our attention for this shop moves to two Heroes: Guus and Somna.

Guus vs Somna: Which Talisman Is Worth It?

Both Heroes receive very interesting second Talismans, and in our opinion, both are strong upgrade candidates over their originals. Somna gets Physical Attack and Toughness, while Guus gets Armor and Physical Attack.

If you’ve been following Olympus Alliance recently, you already know how much we’ve been testing Guus. His healing, Golden Feathers, Critical Hit interactions and defensive options make him an extremely flexible Hero. On top of that, extra Physical Attack directly supports his healing mechanics. For us, then, Guus is probably the Talisman we’d choose.

That said, Somna is absolutely a strong alternative, and this is where your own account matters more than our preference. If you use Somna constantly and Guus only occasionally, Somna could easily be the better choice for you. In short, don’t pick a Talisman because someone says it’s the best; pick the one that improves the Heroes you actually use.

Closing the Exchange Sigil Gap

Since our calculation leaves you short of the 60,000 Sigils a Talisman costs, how do you cover the difference? The event has a reward box where you can spend Emeralds for additional Exchange Sigils.

Keep in mind that this is an RNG-based system, so you won’t receive the same amount every time. As a general estimate, expect around 3,000 Exchange Sigils for every 1,000 Emeralds spent. Individual pulls can sometimes give better value, but treat that figure as an average rather than a guaranteed exchange rate. Based on that average, the Talisman gap works out to roughly 3,000 Emeralds, and the Folio gap below to roughly 10,000.

Folio’s Legendary Relic Shards

We’re not finished with the shop yet, because Folio’s Legendary Relic Shards deserve serious attention. They’re potentially one of the most valuable options in the entire shop. Folio remains an extremely relevant Mage, so if you’re developing him or working toward his Legendary Relic, these shards could be very attractive. In fact, whenever Legendary Relic Shards show up, we think they’re worth a close look because of how much they can change a Hero’s performance.

There’s one problem, though: Folio’s Relic Shards cost 80,000 Exchange Sigils. That’s considerably more than a Talisman, and with an estimated 51,150 Sigils you’d still need another 28,850. Consequently, a player following our Free-to-Play targets isn’t likely to reach them through normal task completion alone, and would need extra progression or the reward box.

Even so, if Folio is one of your main Heroes and his Relic is a major part of your development plan, the shards could be worth considering before a Talisman. If you don’t use Folio, however, there’s no reason to chase them just because they’re available.

The Rest of the Shop

Unfortunately, this is where things get less exciting. Most of the remaining options are Hero equipment and Realm speed-ups, and compared with the Talismans and Folio’s Relic Shards, their prices aren’t particularly attractive. So if none of the main rewards suit your account, we wouldn’t spend large amounts of extra resources just to buy something.

There may also be cases where support can exchange excess Hero-specific Relic Shards for generic shards. That isn’t guaranteed, though, so always confirm with support first.

Final Bountiful Roads Shop Priorities

  • Folio main? His Legendary Relic Shards deserve very high priority. They’re expensive at 80,000 Sigils, but they can be an important long-term investment.
  • Choosing a Talisman? Guus and Somna lead the pack. Guus would probably be our first choice, with Somna a very close alternative for players who use that Hero more often.
  • Tristan, Octavia and Soleil remain good options, but there’s no need to replace their original Talismans if those already work well for you.
  • Nothing relevant to your account? Don’t feel pressured to spend additional resources.

Remember, you don’t need to complete every task simply because it exists. Likewise, you don’t need to spend every Emerald because an event offers extra rewards, and you certainly don’t need to chase an expensive item that doesn’t fit your development plan. The best event strategy isn’t always about grabbing the maximum possible rewards; instead, it’s about getting the rewards that actually improve your account.

That brings our Bountiful Roads Shop Guide, and our full event coverage, to an end. Across Roads Unlocked, Grand Caravan and Bountiful Roads, we’ve covered the tasks, realistic progression targets, accumulated rewards and final shop priorities.
