The Byrna event map generator hides a strategic trap most players will miss, and it could cost you huge value if you approach it the wrong way. The real power of this event isn’t the towers—it’s something far deeper.
Today, we finally get our first look at the new hero event map for Byrna (first highlighted by Kircheis). When looking at it for the first time, one thing immediately stands out: This map is built very differently compared to most of the event maps we usually see in Hero Wars. Let’s walk through it carefully, because understanding these mechanics is crucial to maximizing your rewards.
The Real Value: The Generator System
The first thing you will notice is the Generators. If you played the Winterfest event, this system will feel somewhat familiar. However, the way they are activated this time is slightly different, and that detail changes how you should approach the event.
How Upgrades Work:
The generators have multiple levels. Progression is split between two currencies:
- Levels 1 & 2: Activated using Valor Coins.
- Levels 3, 4, & 5: Activated using Medallions.
All five generators follow this exact same activation structure. Once you understand the flow of Valor Coins into Medallions, the system becomes much easier to manage.

Hero Wars Dominion Era | 7-Day Event | All Generators Activate Day 1
Because of this design, my first recommendation is very simple: Your main focus should be on the generators themselves, not on the map. While the map towers matter, the long-term, compounding value comes from upgrading these generators as early as possible.
Note: Unlike Winterfest, none of these generators produce Emeralds. Even so, the Artifact Generator looks extremely important for players actively developing their heroes. (Stay tuned: I will be releasing a dedicated calculator page soon to help you track exact hourly production values!)
Skin Stone Path on Byrna Mysterious Island Map
Starting with the Upper-Left Tower, we immediately uncover a crucial detail about Byrna’s development. Reaching this tower requires an investment of 18 Explorer Moves, and it rewards you with an Exclusive Skin Stone alongside 10 Pattern Chests.
50K Valor Coin Path
Moving to the Second Tower, we find what might be the most efficient stop on the entire map. For an investment of only 8 Explorer Moves, you are rewarded with a massive 50,000 Valor Coins.
Right Side (First)
On the far right side of the map, the First Tower you encounter offers a massive currency injection. For an investment of 21 Explorer Moves, you will secure 80,000 Valor Coins and 15 Pattern Chests.
Right Side (Second)
Finally, the Second Tower on the far right side of the map represents the ultimate prize. Reaching this node requires the heaviest investment at 23 Explorer Moves, but the payout is massive: 100,000 Valor Coins and 2,000 Golden Threads.
Navigating the Map: Tower Costs & Rewards
Now that we understand the generators, let’s shift our attention to the map itself. There are four towers, each offering different rewards.
Important Note: There are no shortcuts. Exploring the entire map and claiming all four towers will require exactly 60 Explorer Moves.

The Byrna event map brings a very interesting structure. The biggest takeaway is clear: The real value of this event will come from the generators, while the map itself provides the necessary currency (Valor Coins) to fuel them. To explore the entire map and collect everything, you will need exactly 60 Explorer Moves, so planning your resources will be extremely important.
