Cascade Relics First Look | Hero Wars Alliance
Greetings, Guardians! This Cascade Relics First Look breaks down everything the developers just officially revealed about Cascade’s brand-new Relics, which arrive on June 29th. At first glance, these Relics look extremely promising, adding even more control, survivability, and utility to a Titan that was already becoming more popular across many lineups.
Before we dive in, however, remember that this is only our first look. We don’t have the Relics in-game yet, so we haven’t been able to test them ourselves. Instead, today’s overview simply walks through what each Relic does based on the official information. Once they’re released, we’ll test everything thoroughly and bring you a full review with real gameplay and recommendations.
What Cascade Is Getting
Across four Relic levels, Cascade picks up two completely new abilities and two meaningful upgrades to existing ones. Together, they push him toward a far more well-rounded role. Let’s break down each one in order.
Relic Level 1 – Frozen Maelstrom
The first Relic introduces a completely new passive ability called Frozen Maelstrom. Every twelve seconds, Cascade gains Nova’s Accuracy and launches a projectile toward the enemy backline. That projectile deals damage and briefly stuns its targets for one second.
Immediately, this gives Cascade another source of crowd control while also helping pressure fragile backline Titans. Even a one-second stun can completely interrupt enemy abilities or buy valuable time for your team.
Relic Level 10 – Tidal Wave Upgrade
At Relic Level 10, Cascade’s Tidal Wave receives a significant upgrade. After gaining Hyperion’s power, the ability now deals more damage the farther enemies are positioned from Cascade.
As a result, backline Titans become even more vulnerable to Cascade’s attacks. This gives him greater reach and makes positioning even more important during battles.
Relic Level 20 – Refluence Upgrade
Next comes the Relic Level 20 upgrade for Refluence. This upgrade grants Mairi’s cunning and adds a powerful new effect: while Cascade’s Sodden Armor is active, enemies also suffer reduced Physical Attack.
Honestly, this is a very interesting addition. Not only does it improve Cascade’s defensive role, but it also weakens physical damage dealers, potentially making your entire team much harder to bring down.
Relic Level 30 – Iceberg Shard
Finally, at Relic Level 30, we receive another completely new ability called Iceberg Shard. After gaining Sigurd’s endurance, activating Cascade’s first ability now makes him completely immune to all damage for five seconds.
On paper, five seconds of complete damage immunity is a massive survivability boost, and it could completely change how Cascade performs in longer battles. Whether that proves as powerful as it sounds is something we’ll have to test once the Relics officially arrive.

Final Thoughts On This Cascade Relics First Look
Overall, these Relics appear to push Cascade toward a much more complete role, combining control, increased damage, physical attack reduction, and impressive survivability. But as always, Guardians, numbers on paper only tell part of the story.
The real test begins once these Relics arrive in the game. From there, we’ll analyze every interaction, every synergy, and every possible build to see exactly where Cascade fits into the evolving Titan meta. Everything covered in this Cascade Relics First Look is subject to change once we get our hands on the live numbers.
So let us know what you think. Are you excited about Cascade’s Relics? Do they look strong to you, or were you hoping for something different? Leave your thoughts in the comments below. Stay tuned, stay sharp — and as always, salute and friendship!
