Hero Wars April Map Guide: 50K Emeralds
Welcome back, April’s leaked map is not the usual story. This time, we are looking at two separate maps, split value, and explorer move decisions that can punish bad planning very fast. The second map opens on April 6 together with the Spring Rebirth event, so you must think ahead before spending a single move. Let’s explore Hero Wars April Map Guide together.
Map 1: April Mysterious Island (8 Towers)
The first map is massive and requires careful navigation. Let’s break down every tower reward and why they matter for your account progress.
1. Emerald Tower (Upper-Left)
Main Rewards:
- 10,000 Emeralds
- 3 Pattern Chests
This tower is located on the upper-left side of the map and is one of the primary targets for most players. It requires 23 explorer moves to reach. Because it offers a solid base of emeralds along with Pattern Chests, it’s often the first stop for a balanced exploration route.
2. Primal Catalyst Tower
Main Rewards:
- 100 Primal Catalysts
Located very close to the first Emerald Tower, this objective might not look as flashy at first glance. However, for players building long-term value, Primal Catalysts remain a critical resource. Depending on your current hero progress, this 17-move tower can be a strategic pickup while you are already in the upper-left corner.
3. Absolute Artifact Tower (Center)
Main Rewards:
- 150 Absolute Artifact Chests
- 3 Pattern Chests
This is one of the more interesting towers on the map. Reaching the center requires 26 moves, but the reward is substantial. Absolute Artifact Chests are always useful for strengthening your core hero lineup, and the extra Pattern Chests add significant value on top of the artifacts.
4. War Flag & Golden Thread Tower (Bottom Center)
Main Rewards:
- 1 War Flag Chest
- 600 Golden Threads
This tower is located at the bottom center and costs 33 explorer moves. Many players are watching this one closely because we don’t yet know if a new War Flag will be inside. Regardless, the Golden Threads make this a high-priority target for those focusing on flag upgrades.
5. Wish Crystal Tower (Upper-Right)
Main Rewards:
- 1,500 Wish Crystals
- 2 Pattern Chests
Moving to the right side, this tower requires 17 moves. Wish Crystals are a premium resource, and having them bundled with Pattern Chests makes this a very efficient stop for players looking to refine their hero stats without a massive move investment.
6. Skin Stone Tower (Center-Right)
Main Rewards:
- 1,500 Skin Stone Chests
- 3 Pattern Chests
For players focusing on skin upgrades, this center-right tower is extremely attractive. It costs 25 moves to reach. Skin stones are always in high demand, and the 1,500 chests provided here can give your team a significant power boost.
7. Great Emerald Tower (Bottom-Right)
Main Rewards:
- 20,000 Emeralds
- 3 Pattern Chests
This is the “big prize” of Map 1. Located at the bottom-right and costing 28 moves, it holds double the emeralds of the first tower. If you are chasing a full 50k emerald haul, this tower is a non-negotiable part of your route.
8. Wish Insignia Tower (Bottom-Right)
Main Rewards:
- 500 Wish Insignias
- 2 Pattern Chests
Sharing the bottom-right corner with the Great Emerald Tower, this objective takes 29 moves. It’s perfect for players looking for that extra bit of refinement for their heroes through insignias, rounding out a very high-value corner of the map.
Map 2: Spring Rebirth Island (3 Towers)
Opening on April 6, the second map might be smaller, but it contains rewards that many players will want to save their moves for.
9. Mega Emerald Tower (Top)
Main Rewards:
- 20,000 Emeralds
- 6 Pattern Chests
This is arguably the most valuable tower in the entire event. Not only do you get 20,000 emeralds, but it also provides a massive 6 Pattern Chests. However, it requires 41 moves, making it the most expensive individual tower across both maps.
10. Eternal Seed Tower (Middle)
Main Rewards:
- 20 Eternal Seeds
- 3 Pattern Chests
Located in the center of the second map, this tower takes 32 moves. Eternal Seeds are hard to come by elsewhere, so if you are chasing these specifically, ensure you budget your moves carefully before Map 2 opens.
11. Elemental Catalyst Tower (Bottom)
Main Rewards:
- 80 Elemental Catalysts
The final tower of the Spring Rebirth Island requires 25 moves. It targets elemental progression, providing the resources needed for specific hero growth paths. While cheaper than the others on this map, it still requires smart move management.
Route Optimization & Total Costs
Efficiency is key in April. To collect the full 50,000 Emeralds, you will need to spend a total of 90 explorer moves across both islands. If you are aiming to clear the entire first map, the cost is 116 moves. Adding the second map for a full clear brings the total to a significant 175 moves.
April Mysterious Island: Full Strategy Visualization
To begin with, planning your route on the April Mysterious Island is the most critical step to ensuring you don’t run out of explorer moves prematurely. Consequently, we have prepared this high-definition, color-coded map to help you visualize the exact paths mentioned in our route table above.
Moreover, by following the specific color-coded paths (such as the Black route for the first 10k Emeralds or the Sky Blue route for the 20k Emeralds), you can avoid wasted steps. Pro Tip: Hover over the map to see specific tile details or click the image to open the full high-resolution version in a new tab.

Spring Rebirth Island: Detailed Route Map
In addition to the main island, the Spring Rebirth Map (opening April 6) offers a more condensed but high-value exploration experience. Although this map features fewer towers, the move costs are significantly higher. Therefore, visual precision is mandatory to reach the 20,000 Emerald tower at the top of the island.
As a result of the high move requirements, we recommend cross-referencing this map with our Spring Route Breakdown table. This will allow you to prioritize the Eternal Seeds or Elemental Catalysts depending on your account’s specific needs. Use the zoom feature below to inspect the Pink and Blue routes more closely.

What do the Exploration Chests Contain?
In fact, every step you take on the Hero Wars April Maps provides you with an Exploration Chest. These chests are not merely filler; instead, they represent a significant portion of the total event value. Consequently, they provide a consistent stream of resources that support your heroes, titans, and overall account growth.
Inside the Chests:

The exact drop rates vary, but you’ll notice some rewards are guaranteed (100%) while others come with lower percentages, making every opening rewarding.
Furthermore, while the towers provide the “Big” prizes, these step-by-step chests ensure that even a partial map clear is worth the investment. Therefore, we recommend maximizing your daily explorer moves to collect as many of these chests as possible throughout the event.
Pro Tip: Save your chests and open them in bulk to better visualize the total resource gain for your hero and titan teams!
