Hero Wars Blackbeard’s Legacy

Hero Wars Blackbeard's Legacy

Hero Wars Blackbeard’s Legacy is back, and this run reworks the quest board in a way that changes how you should play it. Most objectives now reset daily, a few of them switched to completely different tasks, and the reward pool is still one of the stronger ones on the calendar. This guide lays out all eight updated quests with their exact Pirate Key payouts, the full Buccaneer Stash prize list, and the Treasure Island discounts worth prioritising.

Here is the short version. Two Emerald quests, Fat Holds and Perfect Storm, hand out the overwhelming majority of keys, while a handful of daily activity quests trickle in a steady free supply. Because so many quests now repeat each day, planning your run around that split matters more than ever.

How Hero Wars Blackbeard’s Legacy Works

The lore is simple pirate fun: Blackbeard was the Dominion’s most hated buccaneer, and now that the sea has claimed him, treasure hunters keep turning up pieces of his scattered hoard. Mechanically, though, the whole event runs on one loop. You complete quests to earn Pirate Keys, then you spend those keys to unlock cells inside the Buccaneer Stash.

A few rules make Hero Wars Blackbeard’s Legacy behave differently from a standard chest event. Each prize in the stash can only be found once, so nothing is wasted on duplicates. On top of that, the stash refreshes after you pull at least one Grand Prize, which is what lets heavy spenders keep digging for more. Finally, any keys you do not use before the timer ends are not lost either. Instead, leftover keys convert into a Buccaneer Stash (Chest) that hands you the same rewards minus the Grand Prizes, and the stash itself stays open for one extra day after the event closes.

Blackbeard’s Legacy Buccaneer Stash Rewards

Let’s start with the reason anyone grinds this event in the first place. The Grand Prizes are the headline pulls, and they are titan-heavy, so titan-focused accounts get the most out of a full clear.

Grand Prize
4,000 Titan Skin Stones
25 Choice of Greater Insignia
200 Chaos Particles

Beyond those three headliners sits a deep pool of sixteen standard rewards. Because the list spreads across gold, crystals, artifacts, and titan materials, even a modest key run leaves you noticeably better stocked than when you started. Here is the complete standard prize pool.

Standard Buccaneer Stash Prize
500,000 Gold
5 Rare Enchantment Runes
100 Agility, Strength, or Intelligence Skin Stones
500 Artifact Coins
500 Outland and Tower Coins
250 Arena and Grand Arena Coins
1 Summoning Sphere
20 Random Crystals, 10 Random Crystals, 8 Wish Crystals, 5 Random Vibrant Crystals, 3 Radiant Crystals
500 Essence of the Elements
4 Artifact Seal Chests
5 Skin Stone Chests
5 Flawless Artifact Essence, Scrolls, and Metal
1 Great Enchantment Rune
2 Titan Artifact Spheres
500 Titan Potions
2 Chest of Defender Titans, Chest of Support Titans, and Chest of Marksman Titans

Every Quest and Its Pirate Key Payout

This is where planning pays off, and where this run differs most from the old one. Eight quests feed your key count, but six of them now reset every day, so their listed totals are per-day figures you can earn repeatedly. Only Long Voyage and Perfect Storm are one-time cumulative quests. Start with the full picture, then we will break each one down.

Quest Requirement Keys Resets
Long Voyage Log in during the event 7 One-time
Terror of the Seas Summons in the Summoning Circle 5 Daily
Fat Holds Buy Emeralds 35 Daily
Perfect Storm Spend Emeralds 338 One-time
Full Sail Ahead Spend Energy 6 Daily
Board ’em! Open chests in the Tower 6 Daily
Treasure Hunter Spend Gold 6 Daily
Devil of the Seas Fight in the Arena or Grand Arena 6 Daily

Notice there is no single grand total here, and that is deliberate. Since six quests reset daily, your event haul depends on how many days you actively play. As a rough guide, the daily quests together offer 64 keys per day if you max all of them, though 35 of those come from buying Emeralds. Meanwhile, Long Voyage and Perfect Storm are each earned only once across the whole event.

Quests You Can Clear Through Normal Play

Several quests reward things you were already doing, so most active accounts finish them without buying anything. That said, a couple now carry soft costs worth noting, which we will call out as we go.

Logging in handles Long Voyage, the one login quest that runs across the whole event rather than resetting. Show up seven times and it is done.

A big change this run: Terror of the Seas now rewards summons in the Summoning Circle rather than your VIP level. As a result, it costs summoning resources, so treat its 5 daily keys as semi-free rather than truly free.

Summons (daily) Pirate Keys
10 1
20 1
30 1
40 1
50 1
Daily Total 5

Because Full Sail Ahead tracks Energy you burn on Campaign anyway, its 6 daily keys are about as free as they come.

700 1
1,000 1
1,500 1

Your daily Tower routine covers Board ’em!, and reaching 25 chest openings caps it at 6 keys per day.

Chests Opened (daily) Pirate Keys

Another switch: Treasure Hunter now rewards spending Gold instead of running Adventures. Since gold is farmable, the 6 daily keys stay accessible, but you will need up to 3,000,000 gold each day to max it.

Gold Spent (daily) Pirate Keys
200,000 1
500,000 1
1,000,000 1

Finally in this group, Devil of the Seas rewards Arena and Grand Arena fights, and hitting 12 fights caps it at 6 keys per day.

The Two Emerald Quests That Decide Everything

Now for the heavy hitters. Fat Holds and Perfect Storm are tied to buying and spending Emeralds, and together they dwarf every other quest on the board. If you have decided to invest in this event, this is precisely where your Emeralds convert into the most keys.

Fat Holds rewards buying Emeralds and, importantly, it resets daily. Consequently, spenders can repeat its 35 keys every single day, which makes it a far bigger source over a full event than its one-day total suggests.

Emeralds Bought (daily) Pirate Keys Emeralds
500 2 50
1,000 3 100
2,500 4 250
5,000 5 500
10,000 6 700
17,000 7 1,000
25,000 8 1,250
Daily Total 35 3,850

Then there is Perfect Storm, the single richest key source in the event and a one-time cumulative quest. Notice how the final 220,000-Emerald tier alone pays out 70 keys, which is why spenders push toward that last threshold above anything else.

Emeralds Spent Pirate Keys
1,000 4
2,500 6
5,000 8
10,000 10
20,000 15
40,000 20
60,000 25
80,000 30
110,000 40
140,000 50
170,000 60
220,000 70

Treasure Island: Ranking the Discounts

Alongside the key hunt, the event runs Treasure Island, a short window of shop discounts aimed at powering up your Heroes, Titans, and Pets. Rather than list them flat, here they are ranked from deepest cut to shallowest, since the discount size is what should drive your buying order.

Offer Discount
Heroic Chest 60%
Artifact Chest 30%
Circle of Summoning 30%
Altar of the Elements 20%
Pet Summoning 20%

The 60 percent cut on the Heroic Chest is in a league of its own, so if you only spend on one Treasure Island offer, that is the one. After that, the two 30 percent deals on the Artifact Chest and Circle of Summoning are the next best value, while the 20 percent offers are worth grabbing only if you were already planning to pull there.

How to Play Blackbeard’s Legacy

For free players, the daily structure actually works in your favour. Log into Long Voyage for 7 easy keys across the event, then clear the free daily quests every day: Full Sail Ahead, Board ’em!, and Devil of the Seas alone hand you 18 keys per day just for normal play. Add Treasure Hunter if your gold reserves can spare it, and stack Terror of the Seas whenever you are summoning anyway. Repeated across the event, that daily trickle opens a genuinely rewarding slice of the stash without spending a cent.

For spenders, the two Emerald quests are the whole game. Because Fat Holds now resets daily, each day offers another 35 keys for buying Emeralds, while Perfect Storm rewards a one-time climb toward its 220,000-spend tier and that fat 70-key payout at the top. Therefore, set your budget before the event opens, decide how many days you will feed Fat Holds, and push Perfect Storm as high as your Emeralds allow. Play it that way and Hero Wars Blackbeard’s Legacy shifts from a spending trap into one of the better value events on the calendar.
