Nebula Talisman Guide

Welcome back to another chapter of our Progress Talisman Series, and this Nebula Talisman Guide shines a light on one of the most underrated heroes in the entire game. One of the biggest mistakes players make when evaluating Talismans is looking only at the stats themselves. A big number doesn’t automatically mean a good Talisman. A defensive stat doesn’t automatically signal a defensive hero, and an offensive stat won’t automatically translate into more victories.

The real question is always the same: does this Talisman help the hero perform their role better? At the end of the day, that’s what truly matters. A perfect Talisman isn’t the one with the biggest numbers — it’s the one that lets a hero do their job more effectively. Today we have a fascinating example of that philosophy as we continue our journey through the Progress faction, also known as the Engineers.

Meet Nebula — A Support That Fits Anywhere

Our focus turns to Nebula, a hero who can slot into almost any team composition imaginable. Physical teams, magic teams, dodge teams, hybrid teams — she makes everyone around her better. That flexibility is exactly why she remains one of the strongest support heroes in Hero Wars.

In this series, we compare both available Talismans for each hero, examine how they interact with skills, and determine which one truly brings the most value to the battlefield. As always, let’s start by looking at her two options.

The Two Talisman Options

The first option is the Talisman of Consistency. Originally available during the first Talisman Fever event, it provides Agility as its primary stat and Physical Attack as its secondary stat. At first glance, this already feels like a very natural combination for Nebula.

The second option is the Talisman of Stars. Released originally as a VIP Talisman, it comes with Armor as its primary stat and Dodge as its secondary stat. Immediately we can see a very different approach: one Talisman focuses on offense and support scaling, while the other leans almost entirely into survivability.

Talisman Primary Stat Secondary Stat Origin
Talisman of Consistency Agility Physical Attack (~16,000) First Talisman Fever event
Talisman of Stars Armor Dodge VIP Talisman

So which one wins? As always, we judge it using two factors. First, how do the stats affect the hero’s skills? Second, how do those stats support the hero’s role within a team? Let’s begin with her skills.

Nebula Talisman Guide comparison of Consistency and Stars

Factor One: How the Stats Affect Nebula’s Skills

When we examine Nebula’s abilities, every single one contains Physical Attack scaling — and that detail is extremely important. The Talisman of Consistency provides approximately sixteen thousand Physical Attack. Sixteen thousand. Meanwhile, the Talisman of Stars provides absolutely none.

This single difference creates a massive advantage. Higher Physical Attack means stronger buffs. It also fuels stronger healing. On top of that, it pushes her damage output noticeably higher. Since all of Nebula’s skills benefit from that scaling, the impact is felt across her entire kit. Simply put, the Talisman of Consistency directly improves everything Nebula wants to do — and that’s a huge advantage.

Factor Two: Nebula’s Role Within a Team

What exactly is Nebula doing inside a team? She’s a support — one of the best in the game. We don’t bring her to be a tank, and we don’t bring her to absorb damage. Instead, she earns her spot because she amplifies the heroes around her. Good heroes become stronger, and strong heroes become absolutely terrifying.

That’s where the Talisman of Consistency pulls even further ahead. The Physical Attack doesn’t just benefit Nebula herself — it improves the value she provides to the entire team. Every buff becomes stronger. Healing lands harder. All of her contributions scale up together.

Meanwhile, the Talisman of Stars simply makes Nebula slightly harder to kill. Armor and Dodge certainly have value in specific situations, yet they don’t increase the thing Nebula is actually picked for: support.

The Nebula Talisman Guide Verdict

For us, the Talisman of Consistency is the winner — and not by a small margin. By a very comfortable one. It strengthens every part of Nebula’s kit, improves her support value, and helps her perform her primary role significantly better than the alternative.

Where to Get the Talisman of Consistency

One final thing worth mentioning, Guardians. The Talisman of Consistency is now available through the Eternal Frontier Merchant for seven hundred thousand coins whenever it appears in the rotation. Honestly, if you’re building Nebula, this is one of the easiest recommendations we can make. The fit is excellent, the value is excellent, and the sixteen thousand Physical Attack delivers immediate results.

By contrast, the Talisman of Stars remains much harder to obtain and currently has very limited availability. So if you’re deciding where to spend your resources, our advice is simple: pick up the Talisman of Consistency when the opportunity appears. You won’t regret it.

So Guardians, do you agree with our analysis? Do you run the Talisman of Consistency on Nebula? Or have you found situations where the Talisman of Stars performs better? Let us know below — and tell us which Progress hero you’d like us to cover next in this series.
