October Guild Versus Guide | Hero Wars Alliance

October Guild Versus Guide

This October Guild Versus Guide shows you how to line up Trial of Legends tasks with the right Guild Versus days, so every resource you spend in Hero Wars Alliance pays out twice. Trial of Legends is the second part of the Ascendant Glory event, and it brings eight more tasks, a handful of valuable Hero skins, and several chances to double-dip with your guild.

As always, we’re approaching this from a realistic Free-to-Play perspective. You can certainly push further if you’ve stockpiled extra resources. However, our goal is to find the best rewards without unnecessary spending, and our target for Trial of Legends is 45 completed tasks. In addition, every task you clear here also feeds the accumulated rewards in Sparks of Glory, so each milestone matters.

Trial of Legends Targets at a Glance

Before we break each task down, here’s the full plan in one place. The last column shows where a task overlaps with Guild Versus, which is where most of the extra value comes from.

Task Maximum Our F2P Target Guild Versus Day

The Easy Wins: Logins and VIP

Day After Day and Generous Soul

These two are straightforward. Simply log in for seven days to collect your Day After Day rewards. As for Generous Soul, we’re assuming zero additional VIP points in our Free-to-Play calculations, so anything you gain there is a bonus on top of our plan.

Emeralds and Guild Activity

Wise Exchange

Wise Exchange rewards you for spending Emeralds, and there’s actually some good news here. During this event, an Outland Chest discount is running, which makes it a particularly interesting moment to spend Emeralds while progressing toward Skin upgrades.

That said, Emeralds are precious, especially for Free-to-Play players. For that reason, we’re setting our recommended spending target at just 2,500 Emeralds. If you’ve been saving for Outland discounts anyway, this is a good chance to combine both benefits without going overboard.

Guild Activity

Guild Activity can be quite demanding, with a maximum requirement of 45,000 points across the event. Because that’s a significant amount, we’re recommending a more realistic target of 20,000 points.

Fortunately, there are several ways to generate Guild Activity. Upgrading a Glyph can provide 700 Activity points per day, and the Guild Forge lets you exchange unnecessary equipment for up to 2,000 additional points daily. Combine those with your regular Energy spending, and our recommended target becomes much more manageable.

How This October Guild Versus Guide Doubles Your Value

Now we get to the tasks that really matter. Three of them overlap directly with Guild Versus, so timing your spending correctly lets one investment count for both activities.

Rune Stones (Saturday)

Rune Stones deserve some attention, because there’s a valuable reward waiting here. The maximum task requirement is 750,000 Rune Stones, which is extremely expensive for most players. Instead of chasing that, our target is 350,000 Rune Stones.

Why stop there? Reaching that milestone also unlocks Soleil’s Super Magic Attack Skin, which is a very interesting reward for anyone developing Soleil and looking to strengthen their teams.

Unlike some of the other tasks, Rune Stones don’t need to be spent daily. You can complete these milestones at any point during the seven-day event, so there’s no need to rush. Better yet, Saturday includes Rune Stone spending in Guild Versus, meaning the same investment can earn rewards from both activities.

Accelerations (Wednesday)

Accelerations involve spending Realm Speed-Ups, with a maximum requirement of 2,460 minutes. In other words, that’s 41 hours of Speed-Ups, which is a considerable amount even when spread across the whole event. For our Free-to-Play calculations, we’re assuming a more reasonable target of 960 minutes.

Once again, timing matters. Guild Versus also includes tasks that reward Speed-Up usage, and our preferred day is Wednesday, during Research Power. That way, you progress through Trial of Legends while also supporting your guild’s Guild Versus performance.

Titan Potion (Monday)

This task requires spending 250,000 Titan Potions, and we believe it’s achievable for most established players. Potions come from Dungeon activities and the Titan Merchant, which makes this one of the more accessible resource tasks.

On top of that, Monday includes Titan Potion spending in Guild Versus, so you can use your potions immediately and benefit from both. And if all your Titans are already fully leveled, don’t worry. You can still spend Titan Potions in the Merchant to buy Hydra Horns, so even fully developed accounts can take part.

Heroic Discovery: Keep It Modest

Heroic Discovery rewards you for opening Heroic Chests. Unfortunately, there’s no Heroic Chest discount during this event. Since Free-to-Play players only get 14 free openings throughout the event, we’re recommending a target of ten chests. There’s simply no reason to pour Emeralds into extra milestones when better opportunities exist elsewhere.

Your Guild Versus Sync Calendar

Here’s the bigger picture. Trial of Legends is a very interesting event precisely because several of its tasks line up with Guild Versus, and planning those activities correctly can make a significant difference to your overall rewards.

Day Spend Trial of Legends Task
Monday Titan Potions Titan Potion
Wednesday (Research Power) Realm Speed-Ups Accelerations
Saturday Rune Stones Rune Stones

What 45 Completed Tasks Gets You

Hitting our recommended 45 tasks also unlocks Hero skins for Fafnir and Qing Mao through the event rewards. So we’re not just collecting currencies; we’re also working toward valuable Hero upgrades. Altogether, the plan in this October Guild Versus Guide returns:

  • 73,700 Ascension Crests
  • 15,500 Adventure Coins
  • 470 Season Pass Trophies
  • Soleil’s Super Magic Attack Skin (from the 350,000 Rune Stone milestone)
  • Skins for Fafnir and Qing Mao

That’s an excellent return without trying to complete every expensive milestone. Of course, if you’ve saved extra resources, you may be able to push further. Still, remember that the best event strategy is the one that supports your account’s long-term development.

Coming Next: Sparks of Glory

Next up is where everything comes together. We’ll review Sparks of Glory, combine our rewards from Rising Legend and Trial of Legends, and finally look at what deserves priority in the Event Shop. With Crow’s new Physical Attack Skin and Superskin, Soleil’s second Talisman, and several other rewards on offer, there are some important decisions ahead.

Meanwhile, tell us in the comments: are you planning to spend 350,000 Rune Stones for Soleil’s Superskin, or are you saving those resources for something else? We’d love to hear your strategy.
