In this guide, we break down every tower, every move cost, and every shortcut, so you can plan a full clear for 142 moves before spending a single step.
October Mysterious Island Guide: Four Emerald Tower Route
Before going tower by tower, here is the headline route of the month. This time the emeralds are spread across four separate towers, and since Tower 6 opens a shortcut into Tower 5, the full emerald sweep comes in slightly cheaper than clearing each one cold.
18,000 Emeralds — Towers 1, 3, 5 & 6
The Four Emerald Tower route costs 80 explorer moves with the best routing and rewards you with 18,000 Emeralds, along with a 100K Titan Potion, 300 Great Enchantment Runes, 1 War Flag Chest, 5 Chest of Patterns, and 76 Season Chests. For the best order, clear Tower 6 before Tower 5, which trims 3 moves off the Light Blue Path.

Here is a full breakdown of every tower on the October map, including move costs, rewards, and the shortcut each path unlocks. That way, you can decide which routes actually deserve your explorer moves this month.
1. Tower 1 — Yellow Path
Main Rewards:
5,000 Emeralds- 5 Chest of Patterns

Tower 1 on the Yellow Path normally costs 29 explorer moves for 5,000 Emeralds and 5 Chest of Patterns. On its own there is no real shortcut, although clearing Tower 2 first saves you 3 moves. The much bigger trick, however, comes from Tower 9: once the Tower 9 path is open, this run drops all the way to just 11 moves.
2. Tower 2 — Red Path
Main Rewards:
- 500 Golden Threads
- 5 Chest of Patterns
- 12 Season Chests
Tower 2 on the Red Path is one of the two cheapest towers this month at only 13 explorer moves, and it still pays out 500 Golden Threads plus 5 Chest of Patterns. That makes it an easy early grab for skin progression. It has no shortcut of its own, but if you clear Tower 1 first, you save 3 moves and finish it in 10.
3. Tower 3 — Orange Path
Main Rewards:

300 Great Enchantment RunesTower 3 on the Orange Path costs 23 explorer moves and rewards 3,000 Emeralds together with 300 Great Enchantment Runes. Since glyph upgrades constantly eat runes, this is a quietly useful tower beyond the emeralds. Better still, it pairs with its Green neighbour: clear Tower 4 first and this one costs only 17 extra moves.
4. Tower 4 — Green Path
Main Rewards:
- 100 Primal Catalysts

Tower 4 on the Green Path asks for 18 explorer moves and pays out 100 Primal Catalysts, a steady haul for pet and elemental progression. The shortcut works both ways with Tower 3, so if you take the Orange Path first, you can clear this tower for just 12 extra moves. In other words, whichever of the two you open first makes the other noticeably cheaper.
5. Tower 5 — Light Blue Path
Main Rewards:
- 5,000 Emeralds
- 1 War Flag Chest (contains every flag except the War Flag of Steel Storm and the War Flag of False Immortality)
- 12 Season Chests
Tower 5 on the Light Blue Path is the best value-per-move tower on the island, handing over 5,000 Emeralds and a War Flag Chest for only 13 explorer moves. Just keep in mind that the chest includes every flag except the War Flag of Steel Storm and the War Flag of False Immortality. On top of that, clearing any of Tower 6, 7, or 8 first saves 3 more moves here.
6. Tower 6 — Blue Path
Main Rewards:
- 100K Titan Potion
- 5,000 Emeralds
- 19 Season Chests
Tower 6 on the Blue Path is the value engine of the month, bundling a 100K Titan Potion with 5,000 Emeralds for 20 explorer moves. Here is where things get interesting: Towers 6, 7, and 8 all follow the same route for the first 8 blocks before the paths split. As a result, once you clear any one of them, the other two each cost 8 fewer moves, so this tower drops to 12 if you reach it second.
7. Tower 7 — Violet Path
Main Rewards:
- 700 Wish Insignias
- 2 Chest of Patterns
- 21 Season Chests
Tower 7 on the Violet Path costs 22 explorer moves for 700 Wish Insignias and 2 Chest of Patterns, which makes it a serious target for anyone refining wish stats. Since it shares the opening 8 blocks with Towers 6 and 8, clearing either of those first brings this run down to 14 moves.
8. Tower 8 — White Path
Main Rewards:
- 50 Elemental Catalysts
- 21 Season Chests
Tower 8 on the White Path also costs 22 explorer moves and pays out 50 Elemental Catalysts, another dependable pickup for elemental progression. Just like its Violet neighbour, it rides the shared 8-block trunk, so taking Tower 6 or 7 beforehand cuts it to 14 moves. Plus, any of the three also knocks 3 moves off Tower 5 afterwards.
9. Tower 9
Main Rewards:
- 2,500 Wish Crystals
- 2 Chest of Patterns
- 30 Season Chests
Tower 9 is the priciest tower on the October map at 31 explorer moves, rewarding 2,500 Wish Crystals and 2 Chest of Patterns. Taken cold, that is a steep price. However, the real shortcut comes from Tower 1: clear the Yellow Path first and this tower costs only 13 moves. The relationship also runs in reverse, so opening Tower 9 first lets you clear Tower 1 for just 11.

Taking every tower at its standalone cost would run to 191 explorer moves. Fortunately, the paths overlap in several places, so a full clear of all nine towers actually lands at 142 explorer moves when you take them efficiently. The biggest savings come from the Yellow and Tower 9 pairing, followed by the shared 8-block trunk into the Blue, Violet, and White paths, and then the Orange and Green pairing. Sequence those well and the map opens up fast.
