Cascade Relics Guide | Hero Wars Alliance
Welcome to our Cascade Relics Guide, Guardians. This is Olympus Alliance, and today we’re taking our first look at Cascade’s brand-new Relics in Hero Wars: Alliance. As always, treat this as a theoretical analysis based on the information available right now. The Relics have only just been revealed. They already look extremely promising on paper, but the real answer will come on the battlefield.
Over the next few days, we’ll be testing every Relic extensively. That means trying new team compositions, exploring synergies, and measuring their impact on Cascade in the current meta. For now, though, let’s break down each Relic one by one. We want to see exactly what they bring to one of the most unique heroes in the game.
Relic Level 1 – Nova’s Accuracy
The first Relic grants Nova’s Accuracy. Every 12 seconds, Cascade launches a projectile toward the enemy backline. It deals Magic Damage and stuns all enemies hit for 1 second.
This is a genuinely interesting addition to her kit. One of Cascade’s greatest strengths has always been her pressure on multiple enemies at once. This Relic reinforces exactly that. Every twelve seconds, she gains another source of ranged pressure aimed at the backline. That’s the place where many of the game’s most dangerous damage dealers and supports sit.
That one-second stun might not sound like much at first. In Hero Wars, though, even a brief interruption can flip the outcome of a fight. Delaying an ultimate, cutting off a key ability, or freezing a healer for a moment matters. Any of those can create the opening your team needs to secure a kill.
On paper, this looks like a solid opening Relic. It layers in extra crowd control and steady backline pressure without changing Cascade’s core playstyle. The real question is how impactful that stun proves to be in live battles. That’s exactly what testing will reveal.
Relic Level 10 – Hyperion’s Power
Next up, Relic Level 10 upgrades Tidal Wave, one of Cascade’s core control abilities. Normally, this skill lets her dash through the enemy team, dealing Magic Damage while knocking enemies back. The knockback is especially effective against nearby targets. That makes it an excellent disruption tool against tightly grouped teams.
With the Relic unlocked, Hyperion’s Power is added to the skill. The effect is simple but potentially very impactful. So the farther an enemy sits from Cascade, the more damage Tidal Wave deals.
That immediately creates an interesting interaction with the skill itself. Cascade is constantly moving and repositioning after every dash. Where she ends up relative to the enemies now matters. Depending on the spacing, Tidal Wave can hit certain targets much harder than before.
On paper, this gives her much better scaling against backline heroes, who naturally stand farther away. Supports and ranged damage dealers could become far more vulnerable every time she uses the ability. What makes it clever is that the Relic doesn’t add a flat damage boost. Instead, it rewards positioning. The battlefield itself becomes part of Cascade’s damage calculation. Her movement matters even more than it already did.
The big unknown is how noticeable that damage increase will feel in real fights. Will it truly threaten fragile backline heroes? Or will it just be a nice bonus on an already strong control skill? We’ll be watching how consistently it performs and which heroes benefit most.
Relic Level 20 – Mairi’s Cunning
At Relic Level 20, Cascade starts becoming much more dangerous against physical teams. This one upgrades Refluence. That skill already adds an extra layer of pressure after she uses Tidal Wave.
As a baseline, whenever Cascade casts Tidal Wave, enemies hit receive the Sodden Armor effect for eight seconds. While affected, those enemies take extra damage of the same type every time they’re hit. If that damage comes from a Mystery Hero, the bonus climbs even higher. It’s already strong, especially in Mystery-based teams where heroes constantly apply magic damage.
With Relic Level 20, Cascade gains Mairi’s Cunning. It adds an entirely new effect to Sodden Armor. Enemies affected now also have their Physical Attack reduced by 40%.
That’s a significant defensive upgrade. Rather than only boosting your offensive pressure, Cascade now directly weakens physical damage dealers too. On paper, cutting a physical carry’s damage by forty percent could dramatically raise your team’s survivability. That’s especially true in longer battles, where Sodden Armor gets reapplied over and over.
It also fits her identity perfectly. Cascade isn’t simply dealing damage anymore. Now she controls the pace of the fight, weakening the enemy while punishing them harder on every hit. Running a full Mystery composition makes the Relic even more attractive. Mystery heroes trigger the enhanced Sodden Armor damage more efficiently.
The question testing needs to answer is how consistently that debuff can stay active in real battles. Can Cascade keep the Physical Attack reduction glued to key enemy carries for most of a fight? If so, this could become one of her strongest upgrades. It would shine against the physical-based teams that dominate so many Arena defenses today.
Relic Level 30 – Sigurd’s Endurance
Finally we reach Relic Level 30, and this is arguably the upgrade generating the most discussion. It grants Sigurd’s Endurance. Every time Cascade activates her first ability, she becomes completely immune to all damage for five seconds.
On paper, that’s an extremely powerful defensive mechanic. Cascade has always dealt tremendous damage. Like many damage dealers, though, her biggest weakness has been surviving long enough to fully impact the battle. This Relic addresses that weakness head-on.
Five seconds of complete damage immunity is a very long time in Hero Wars. During that window, Cascade can keep attacking, applying Water Marks, and repositioning around the battlefield. She can also activate her abilities and support her team without any fear of being eliminated. Against burst compositions, this could completely change how opponents approach her. Instead of deleting her immediately, they may have to wait out the immunity before committing their damage. That throws off their timing and opens opportunities for your side.
How Sigurd’s Endurance Ties Cascade’s Kit Together
What’s especially interesting is how this Relic ties everything together. At Level 1, she gains extra backline control. By Level 10, her positioning becomes a source of increased damage. At Level 20, she weakens physical carries while ramping up pressure through Sodden Armor. And now, at Level 30, she gains the survivability she needs. That lets her stay alive long enough to benefit from all those earlier upgrades.
How the Cascade Relics Guide Progression Fits Together
Looking at the full picture, the entire Relic progression feels remarkably cohesive. Each level reinforces a different aspect of Cascade’s kit instead of replacing it. Control, scaling, debuffs, and survivability all stack into a single, well-rounded package.
Theory is only theory, though. The real question is whether these upgrades can push Cascade back into the highest tier of the current meta. Or will they simply make an already good hero more consistent?
Over the coming days, we’ll be testing every interaction, synergy, and matchup. The goal is to pin down exactly where she stands after receiving her Relics. That means running her against physical teams, against magic teams, and inside Mystery compositions. We’ll also pair her with the heroes that currently define the meta. Only then will her true value become clear.
